You know you can change it right? So it doesn't look like a surname, and instead it's a title such as <The Roman Legacy> or you can turn it off. In fact, you don't even have to have a Legacy name. To me, having a Legacy name makes me unique. No one else can have that name, and it's a story of accomplishments that I've done in the game and on each character. Not to mention no matter what alt I'm on, people will know me by my legacy. Also, I like how my legacy continues to grow no matter what character I'm on (which is the whole idea). They're all linked and shared, there's no longer a line that seperates my characters. I have 50s on both factions as well, so I made sure to pick a neutral last name. I think if you were able to change your legacy between characters, it wouldn't be a legacy anymore. It would only be a surname.

I like having ONE legacy name. I know people by it and it lets me see who their alts are. This is why I put A LOT of thought into my legacy name, because I knew I couldn't change it (same reason I spent 30 minutes at the character creation screen, because I knew I couldn't change my character's looks after). Think of your Legacy name like your last name. All of your characters are apart of your family. Your legacy. /EDIT In my Twileks story line, it said I was a descendant of a Sith. I'm a freaking Twilek! So sure, why not be related to different species?

I highly doubt these bugs/glitches/seizures will go unnoticed. They'll address it within a day or two (because even reverting takes time, as do coding new changes and finding bugs).

I agree. The flash is only necessary for skills that come off CD, not for all of the abilities. This is why people are feeling physically ill.

I don't like the old CD animation, if anything they should change it back to the ORIGINAL one that they had on release. That blue CD was awful (as a pvper, it was irritating). I still want the one they have now as an option atleast (minus the flashing lights, because I like the borders) and make the original one the default one.

Hah. I remember when they originally changed it and everyone said "I can't play! Unplayable! I can't see when I can use my abilities!". Now that they've changed it again to cater to the people who found it unplayable, people are saying the same thing. Personally, I greatly disliked the old animation (I couldn't tell when something was on CD). It's MUCH MORE OBVIOUS now than it was before (ie: if there was 10 seconds left on your CD, there wasn't any way of telling because it blended into the blue UI. Now you can tell.) - Flashing lights is an issue. But they changed it twice, they'll change it again. Chill. =\ Can we just snap our fingers and expect everything done RIGHT NOW for $15? Geez, I want to live in that world.

I think if they removed the flash it would be more appealing. I'm playing a Sage, but I can tell if I was playing a Melee or someone with more instant casts, I'd get over the flashing pretty fast. It's still better than it was before (for me). I like the white border, flashiness should be an interface option.

I agree with the first post. It's more productive to submit a bug report than to take out your rage on the forums. Also, were these players that you've killed recently? Or are these new players you haven't seen before, yet they're not giving you valor upon killing them? Have you watched your valor bar move at all, to make sure it's just not visually telling you you've earned the valor (yet you are)? Being vague does not help Devs. D: PS: Whatever is broken with Illum, I bet they'll fix it within 48 hours if it is indeed broken. Something like that won't go unnoticed.

I love the new effect. K, sorry for the large text, had to get pass all the negative reviews. It doesn't confuse me at all, and I think the white border is clean and adds something different. It's visually appealing to me and I'm quite happy. I also like how flashy it is, it does a better job of letting me know when something is on CD (white border = don't press it) and when not to smash my keys because of a GCD. I also want to point out that I'm prone to migraines and headaches very easily, the flashiness of these buttons have not bothered me yet. The only thing I would do different is change the soft blue color to something more distinguishable. Maybe a red or a soft orange. I would NOT remove the white border, I love it. /EDIT Even though I like the flashiness, it seems others do not. Toning it down some would be a happy medium. I guess I'm use to it because of "Snowfall Keypress" from back in WoW (if anyone remembers it.)

Ahh, my hair use to be that red (by accident). I had bleach blonde hair and I decided to go back to red, so the red took really well. I'm too scared to do anything like that to my hair again (for the fear of damaging it). The tamed red I have now isn't nearly as fun. >.>

Obviously the intention wasn't to make them look like normal screenshots. So no. :] PS: I only enhanced the original coloring and gave the image's a glow.

WoW was the MMO I was playing before Swtor, but it's not the only one I've played by any means. I have not gone back and I probably never will (not with all of these new MMOs releasing this year! My plate is going to be pretty full.)

Personally, I enjoy the occasional /fistbump to players I just owned. Emotes have their time and purpose, but emote spam is childish. The only solution I can see is having a spam filter for emotes (which would benefit both ends of the spectrum, not necessarily "You just got owned" scenarios). I like being able to see chat/emotes, I actually wish the barrier between the factions were less.

Will Togruta be a playable race in the future; will we see new playable races in March or sometime this year?

We fought and we fought and we fought some more for Server forums. They ended up giving us this. Which...to be honest, I hate having my Server Forum slapped together with others. People barely use it since it's not obvious, nor user friendly to use.
