Your saying SWTOR has an on rails system? It's no more directed than the 1-60 content added with Cataclysm, maybe even less so as you can skip some quests in SWTOR. Skip some in the Cataclysm added content and you can't progress with that quest chain. Even Blizzard themselves said it was too linear.

Thankfully all those seem to be near completion or already done and waiting for a structured (every 6 week) launch.

Really? -_- WoW has nearly a decade worth of endgame, yes, but they're released in "tiers". The amount of raids in a tier isn't much more than what we have now (sometimes even less). Once the new stuff comes all the old is obsolete and is only there for those that want to back and reminisce, really. Content comes with updates. Updates come with time. Agree with this completely. I played WoW to max on a few characters. If I was in Horde, all my characters had a unique starter zone, but beyond that I had two options of zone choices if I was lucky for every level bracket, no matter if I was playing my Rogue, Mage, or whatever. At least Bioware gave classes a unique story to make leveling an alt fun.

I haven't noticed the map problem, but whenever I'm typing in the log all the text seems to get blurry and unfocused. Using a 6870 myself, 12.6. Just saw this on the dev tracker, seems it'll apply to you: Doesn't say anything on maps, but worth a shot.

I was really disappointed by the races at launch, tbh. They all seem like just reskinned humans, the Cathar being no different. I know it requires a lot of work to add more models of non-human races in the game, but still can't help but wish they were there.

No. They have much more to worry about then adding more levels, like balancing the ones we have already. IMO of course.

The 1.4 livestream mentioned something about selling it in the cash shop, at least I'm pretty sure. Gotta go back and check. Edit: Found it: Q: Has there being any discussion on allowing cartel coins to be used for purchase race unlocks instead of credits options we use now. The intent would be players would be able to use Cartel Coins to purchase Cathar as the first race to be unlocked when they becomes available. We are certainly more than open to exploring other species option depending on how popular Cathar become.

Ah, my bad I don't know why I put DA2 there, retract that with DA:O. Yea, I agree with all of that, DA2 was pretty horrible in those regards.

You don't see it as a course, but I do with reason. What the devs said when being questioned about it only affirms it. They said they don't want to "shoehorn" it in the game, they want to flesh it out and put the story in right. I really don't expect Bioware of all devs to slap a story in halfheartedly. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

I'll think they'll add it how they did in DA2 and JE, how history has shown they'll do it. Definetly not a no /gendercheck as you said. We have no point to believe otherwise atm besides pure pessimism.

Agree completely. If your bored of the game, don't force yourself to keep playing. Accept that Bioware/the game isn't up to your standards and move on. I myself am paying my sub for SWTOR over the many other MMO's I've played for a reason.
