  1. Hey everyone, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We believe that we have found a potential resolution that should alleviate if not resolve many issues similar to the one brought up in this thread. This potential resolution will be put in an upcoming patch. We'll keep an eye on this thread when it goes live to see how effective we were and adjust our efforts accordingly.
  2. Hey folks, as a reminder, please remember to remain civil and on topic in this thread. We recently had to go in here and remove several posts for breaking forum rules. Remember to be respectful of other community members and their opinions.
  3. I spoke to Systems Designer Nathan Emmott and he had this to say: Yup, players will be covered here. If a player has an unopened lockbox for the pieces, then we will send them an equivalent unopened lockbox for the classic items. If they have an opened lockbox for the pieces, then the replacement items will be placed directly into the opened lockbox.
  4. Hi everyone, Last August, we posted some words in regards to tightening the forum rules. I wanted to let you all know that everything in that post is still in effect. In order to improve the forum experience for our players, we are making additional changes as of today. Going forward, infractions will carry more points after an initial warning is sent out. This well help us curb nonconstructive behavior in general. As a reminder, you may find that threads that are not constructive are removed or closed without warning. Here are some things we consider nonconstructive: Long lists of gripes with few specific details and little useful feedback Threads that bash the game or BioWare Threads about quitting the game Callouts towards specific developers "Haters" vs "fanboys" arguments/unconstructive community commentary It's also important to review the Rules of Conduct. Generally, if you feel that you may be crossing a line, it's probably better to err on the side of caution and rewrite your post. If you feel that someone is breaking any of the rules in a post, or if you see a nonconstructive thread, please remember to report it and move on. Responding in kind to someone who is breaking the rules only makes flame wars and other disruptive behavior go on longer. If you just can’t agree with someone and feel like they may provoke you into breaking the rules, please use your ignore list. Remember: there are people out there who just want to make you mad and get a rise out of you. Don’t give them what they want! Your help is greatly appreciated in helping us maintain a welcoming and friendly community!
  5. I wrote "SGRs". This echoes Jeff Hickman's words from his blog here. "Secondly, I want to reveal today that we are adding SGR with some NPCs on Makeb and do intend on pursuing more SGR options in the future. More details to come!" Let's get this thread back on topic please.
  6. Hi folks, as a reminder, please remember to stay on topic in this thread. While the topic started off as requesting clarifications for SGRs, it seems that it has also become a destination to discuss possible ways of implementing them in the game. We have officially confirmed that SGRs will be in the game and this will not change. However, we have directed any civil discussions that do not agree with the inclusion here. Please also remember to be respectful of one another, despite differences in opinions. Any posts that are considered off-topic or in violation of our forum rules will be removed and actioned upon, if necessary. Thank you.
  7. Hi everyone, as Damion mentioned in an earlier forum post, this was incredibly important for the development team to resolve. We think that we’ve found the best solution for all users affected by the changes made to the Spymaster, Phantom, Trailblazer, and Preceptor outfits in Patch 1.6.2. In Game Update 1.7 (which should be going live in the next month or so), we are going to offer versions of the aforementioned outfits as they appeared before the 1.6.2 changes in addition to the current versions that appear in the Cartel Market Packs. Players will be able to obtain (via Cartel Packs) both the “Classic” (pre 1.6.2) versions of the outfits and the current versions (post 1.6.2). What about players who already purchased this before the 1.6.2 changes? Or even the players that enjoy the new looks? We’re going to do what’s best for all and in the next major Game Update, any player that has any pieces of the four outfits (Spymaster, Phantom, Trailbazer, and Preceptor) will receive the “Classic” version (pre 1.6.2) of those pieces as well, at no extra cost. We will scan the bank, currently equipped items, and personal mail to check for the pieces to these outfits, so be sure to remove them from a Guild Bank before then (don’t worry, we will let people know well ahead of time when the next Game Update will go live). If we find that you own these pieces, we will mail you the “Classic” versions of these items. These extra outfit pieces will be unbound, so you may do whatever you like with them. If an item is on the GTN during the maintenance when we make this change, the auction will be canceled and you will receive both versions of the item in the mail after we come back out of maintenance. We feel that this is the best possible design decision to make all of our players happy and we will continue to improve our internal processes in order to prevent a situation like this from happening again. Thank you for your patience, and thank you for continuing to support Star Wars: The Old Republic.
  8. Hi everyone, I know it’s been a while since we’ve updated this thread, and I wanted to let you know that we haven’t forgotten about our Oceanic players. Now that we’re at a more stable point in time (post Free-to-Play transition and post holidays), we wanted to re-examine this issue. We’re going to be completely honest with you: there doesn’t seem to be an easy solution for anyone. We’ve seen many ideas from you folks such as merging all three servers into one, allowing for transfers to North America servers, and even not doing anything at all, but none of them seem to be an ideal solution for all. This is why we are now opening up this dialogue with you. In this thread, please let us know what you think the best solution will be for your servers. I know there have been many suggestions already, but I would like to collect the most current ideas for us to consider. After that, our team will review and discuss what is feasible and what makes the most sense to do. Please remember to follow all forum rules and be respectful of each other’s ideas, even if you disagree with it. Thank you all, and we look forward to your ideas.
  9. Hey folks, just wanted to chime in here. Damion's post still applies above all. In fact, we're approaching a solution that we will share with you all shortly as soon as we have all the details ironed out. In sum, take Damion's last post as the most current state of this issue. Thank you!
  10. Hi folks, after investigating this issue, we have discovered that the bug fix that we implemented in 1.6.2: Unlock items no longer stack in the inventory. has affected any unlocks that were on the GTN and in mailboxes. Please submit an in-game ticket for CS if you have been affected by this. Apologies for the inconvenience.
  11. Folks, I just wanted to let you know that I have been reading all of your comments and I will be sharing your feedback with the developers. If I have any new information, I will post here. Please remember to stay on topic in this thread, and report any Terms of Service violations. Thank you for your patience.
  12. This was an error on my part. I posted here as soon as I heard an answer before confirming with multiple parties. I shouldn't have posted with such haste, and in the future, I will be sure to make sure that information is 100% accurate. There is a delicate balance with timeliness and accuracy and I will be sure to watch for that in the future.
  13. It's a bit complicated (and I'll edit my original post to update), but essentially, the Stylish Dancer Outfit is in the Blockade Runner pack, but it was mistakenly used on the Skip Tracer pack art. The Fancy Reveler Outfit is red and included in the Skip Tracer pack. The artwork for the Skip Tracer pack will be updated to show the appropriate outfit in a future patch.
  14. All right folks, I talked to our developers and got some clarification: The Revan outfit was adjusted to look more like Revan’s armor in the game. The Spymaster and the Phantom outfits were both adjusted to look more like their advertised appearance in the Cartel Market, after we received more than a few remarks about this dissimilarity. This is to ensure that customers receive the advertised appearance. The Stylish Dancer Outfit (white) is in the Blockade Runner pack, but it was mistakenly used on the Skip Tracer pack art. The Fancy Reveler Outfit is red and included in the Skip Tracer pack. The artwork for the Skip Tracer pack will be updated to show the appropriate outfit in a future patch. We apologize for any inconvenience. In the future, we will ensure that all assets are in alignment on the Cartel Market. The final products are meant to look like the advertised art.
  15. Just wanted to correct something I said earlier. The information I received earlier was incorrect. Players may have their base character slots and up to ten extra character slots. For example, a subscriber with 12 character slots may increase their character slots up to 22. You can still have 350 characters overall. Apologies for the confusion.
  16. Submit an in-game ticket and CS will get back to you as soon as they can!
  17. Hi everyone, unfortunately, due to the Harbinger issue from this morning that caused the server to come down, players on this server experienced a minor rollback. Most of your items, credits, and Cartel Coins should have been returned in some way. However, if you feel that your credits, Cartel Coins, or items are still missing, please contact customer support. Please be sure to check your cartel ledger to confirm that your coins, in fact, did not return automatically. Apologies for the inconvenience.
  18. I'm digging in to this today. I'm going to see what happened and clarify what the gear should look like. Apologies for the confusion.
  19. Hi folks, My original post here was incorrect. Please see my most recent post on this.
  20. That's the standard limit without additional character unlocks.
  21. I can actually step in here to explain what happened. Per our development team: We noticed that the Credit rewards for the new repeatable Heroic Space Missions (the ones you can do as many times as you want per day, not the Dailies) were too great and out of sync with how many credits we expected players to earn on average during normal gameplay. To account for this, rewards for these quests missions have been reduced to bring them more in line with the risk and cost of running Space Missions versus playing through the ground game’s content. We apologize to fans of the new Heroic Space Missions for this oversight and hope that the Credits and Commendations rewarded for the Daily quests are still found desirable enough to overcome the difficulty of these new challenges. Going forward, we will be keeping an active eye on this issue and others like it to make sure players are being rewarded correctly for the amount of effort they put into the game.
  22. You can actually go beyond that if you purchase an additional character slot when you hit that limit!
  23. Hey folks! Here to clear things up a bit, the patch note is meant to let folks know that the standard character slot restrictions are now being enforced. In ADDITION to this, you may now purchase additional character slots to your heart's content. There is a limit, but it is very, very high and you will probably not reach it. So, if you are a subscriber and want to go beyond your 12 slots, by all means!
