After 1.2 went live but prior to the patch that saw Warzone rewards get changed from needing 3 Medals to only 1 Medal, Daniel Erickson came to the PVP Forums and specifically mentioned that not only were those changes taking place, but that also, the fact that the Warzone Shutdown Sequence was Removed in 1.2 was a Bug/Mistake, that that was only supposed to have been disabled for Rated Warzones, which were clearly pulled from 1.2 and that theWarzone Shutdown Sequence would return with the same fix that changed the rewards system. That said, the fix for Warzone Rewards came and went, but the removal of the Warzone Shutdown Sequence remains. I'm perpetually finding myself in matches of 4 vs. 8 and I would like to understand why that is? Why something considered a bug/mistake by the Developers has gone unmentioned and unfixed since?

    Augment

    Weird, I've been REing all the Augments I make with no problem. I dont think it works once the Augments has been put into, then taken out of gear, but that's the only thing I can think of. Which augment was it?

    Get rid of Huttball

    So wait up... is this a Get Rid of Huttball thread or a "Nerf Assasins/Shadows" thread?? It's fairly unclear based on the postings of the OP.. and I do realize the OP herself mentioned the advantages a Shadow has, which I guess is my point. There's no way to achieve perfect balance in PVP, Huttball or otherwise.
  4. You can't get Augments no, you CAN get Augment Schematics - they're selling pretty well on my server. So are the raw materials used to make the Augments.
  5. Hit Escape, go into Interface Editor, then click either the Operations or Party Frames (depending on which you use) and then Scroll Down in the Options box that will be on your screen and you should gain access to both Health Height and Width.
  6. I was listening to a Podcast Interview with Damian Schubert on TOR Wars yesterday, during which he was asked about what was coming next for the Legacy system. He replied that if you looked in the "Coming Soon" section of the Legacy Rewards, you would get a sense of what they want to bring us in the next patch, so, being curious, I did exactly that last night. I noticed that on that Coming Soon page were a couple Crew Skill related Legacy rewards, that include a blanket +10 to all Crew Skill criticals. Now of course, this isn't in the game now, and who knows if it will change between now and the next content patch, but having noticed this thread yesterday (since I just started Armormech on my new alt-turned-main) I was somewhat happy to see that maybe someday down the road we'll be able to obtain some extra Crit for Armor crafting.
  7. You can't punish people for doing something you cannot prove they did, which is leave maliciously.
  8. You don't assemble them, you use them as Currency. The different colors/qualities are needed in different quantities. You'll need 4 Artifact quality fragments to purchase an Artifact quality Gift. I believe it's 6 of the Blue that are needed, and something like 12 or 14 of the Green, just look at the list, the prices should be listed on the gifts at the Curator.
  9. And what I and many other people have been trying to tell you, is that if you leveled up to 50 and did Dailies, you would have more than enough Credits to make your purchases. I've personally found this MMO to be the easiest to make money in, of any of the MMOs I've played. You don't seem willing to understand the Market by getting to 50, yet you stress that the kind of game you want to enjoy is an Economic one. I just don't feel like that makes a whole lot of sense.

  11. First? Augments. Second? Custom gear, with Augment slots. Third? Rakata with Augments. Fourth? Custom gear that you can put the new Operations mods in with their Set Bonuses thereby allowing you to customize your look without sacrificing stats/utility.
  12. Reinstating the WZ Abort Sequence for imbalanced teams as promised would have been even better.
  13. Did they re-instate the Warzone Shutdown sequence like Daniel Erickson said on Monday they would, or am I still going to be treated to 3 vs. 8 matches tonight?
  14. Any reason why the Warzone Shutdown sequence being "re-activated" didn't make it into this particular patch? In my mind it's the single biggest reason why people are having such a bad experience in Warzones. You cannot recover/win a match that started 3 vs 8 when you were on the side with only 3 people. It discourages the player immensely from wanting to queue up for another Warzone.
  15. I think the point you make here is really what this all boils down to: You're trying to use the word "Worthwhile" interchangeably with "Profitable." I think many of the avid crafters posting in this thread find crafting to be Worthwhile, even if they don't find it to be profitable. That said, I think 1.2 took steps towards giving the various crafting Crew Skills things that are worth selling on the GTN, even if they don't net you 1 Gajillion credits per sale. There are now the Augments that certain crafters can make, the new crystals (both PvE and PvP) that Artificers can make, the Speeders that are no longer bound upon crafting... can Bioware still make more improvements, and give us more things that are profitable? Of course. Does that mean crafting and the Crew Skills as a whole are not Worthwhile? From the sounds of things in this thread, many people would say 'No.'

  17. But there is also the fact that you have the Option of making things easier on yourself. If you don't like how much people charge for Crafting Materials - get them yourself and save yourself that expense! Need a Biometric Alloy and don't wanna shell out the Money for it? Then finish leveling up to 50 and go get a few for yourself. The point is, you can change the situation you're in for the better, you just don't want to. You want to be able to do everything a Level 50 can do, without being a Level 50. That's unfortunately not how MMO's work.

You claim that if the crafting system is not improved, less people will bother with it, but considering there are about 3 pages here of people explaining to you that Crafted Gear in 1.2 actually IS the Best gear, and can be crafted WITHOUT playing any Warzones, I would love if you could explain to us how you would like to see it improved? Seems to me that if you took the time to finish Leveling up from 35 to 50, you would gain a much broader perspective on this game, and in fact it might even help you with your crafting, as you would be able to identify things people WILL buy from you, and you can start tailoring your Crafting to that which will make you a nice profit. TL;DR = You'd have a more well-rounded view of Crew Skills and Crafting, and an understanding that they are markedly improved in Patch 1.2 than prior, if you actually played the game.
  20. You state here that the WZ Shutdown Sequence is an "unfortunate bug where a feature of Ranked Warzones was incorrectly implemented globally." Yet, when you look at the 1.2 Patch notes, under the General Warzone section, the last two Bullet Points clearly state: "Warzones will no longer shutdown early due to population imbalance. Ranked Warzones have been temporarily disabled." The Patch Notes would have us believe that you actually DID intend for this feature to go Live with 1.2, and be implemented Globally, not just in Ranked Warzones. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy that you're fixing some of these terrible changes, but I think a little more Transparency might be in order.

  22. It is being officially changed, thankfully. Check the sticky at the top of the PVP forums or the Dev Tracker. WZ Shutdown for incomplete teams will be back. They are also increasing the time they take looking for a full 8 ppl so we wont start as Shorthanded as often.
  23. Getting tired of matches that start with ~3-4 people. It's not fair. It's not fun. You can't recover from it. Fix it.
