  1. How do you get that as making twice what it cost to make? I got $119,980,000, and that would assume incorrectly that bioware got all of the money from the sales. I'm not saying the game is doing poorly. Just that you math confuses me. Please take a moment to explain it. Thanks.
  2. So I can understand people thinking these are unneeded, I too dislike them. Took a moment to think about all the transitions and came to a thought as to why they are put in. They are there for story transition. So your on a quest, you run back to your ship and suddenly get a cut scene when you enter the hanger, or spaceport, or elevator. Should Bioware have put in a better way or found a better way to do this? Yes! But it is what it is, until they do you will have to deal with the transition areas and no instant access port to ship. Just my thought on it. Disagree if you want .
  3. LFG tools are the Devil...the Devil is say..nothing good will come of them! I hates them! Don't put them in! (My new theory is that if people join the side that is against these tools then they will be added by the way.)
  4. Some people really like the game and believe that because it is new it deserves a break I guess. I would be willing to give it some room on bugs, those are going to happen, but the featureless environment just turns me off. Some 'comfort' features that other games have devised and have become baseline should have been there and aren't.
  5. Chat bubbles are the Devil...just say no to chat bubbles and anything that may have ever been in another game and made that game better! The Devil I say!
  6. What they did to innovate was give you the same options with, voice over! Feel the love.
  7. I sense flames coming it. Still it's a good idea.
  8. No offense, and i mean it, but really expecting reality in a game...sorry probably not going to happen.
  9. Add dual spec and mods. That would do it for me right now. I can compromise and go without a good lfd tool for the time being.
  10. Maybe they will learn their lesson and not release content until it's ready next time.
  11. Again, when they improve the game to the level it should have been when it was release I will consider coming back. I refuse to pay to beta a game again, and I refuse to pay to play a game and 'wait' for it to improve to a level it should already be at.
  12. I would be fine coming back and paying them additional money when they put these things in...until then i can find other uses for my cash.
  13. It just should have been base line in the game. It could have been a great credit sink for some of the exploiters out there.
  14. See, but you pay for time in blocks...you understand that...blocks. So even if you've canceled your account if the block you paid for is still active you are still an active account until that runs out....see how that works...do you understand now or was that little bit of economic knowledge a bit much for you?
  15. Why do we keep comparing this to WoW. Isn't this the game that isn't WoW, isn't it innovative and new? And WoW's first patch was 7 yrs ago...don't companies learn anything over time? Shouldn't a patch from 2012 go smoother than one in 2005? Isn't there better technology now? Come on, find a better arguement than this. PS. I don't even mind the patch, I thought it was fine. Your arguement is just silly.
  16. You know, I can actually understand what your saying, I played WOW at launch too, the problem is, that was 7 years ago. That is a pretty long time, you would think a company like Bioware would have learned, and would take the example of what was worked and didn't and improve on it. Expecting a company to be allowed to get away with putting out a sub par product because other companies were just shouldn't be allowed. Maybe people are just finally realizeing this. Perhaps budgets at home are tight and feeling like you wasted money on a game just isn't being accepted. Perhaps people are just tired of being disappoints. Maybe they just expect a company to be accountable for the product they put out, instead of blaming everyone and anyone else....Who knows, the answer is going to be different for each person. If people want to leave then they will leave, if they choose to do so in a loud and obnoxious manner, then that should be fine. After all they paid for the game and they will want thier opinion heard.
  17. I just put in a ticket when i cancelled requesting they remove all recurring payments from my profile. Something else if you cancel and they still accidentally charge you, and yes it would be an accident i don't think bioware would charge someone who cancelled on purpose, you can probably dispute it with them and if that doesn't work you can dispute it with your credit car company.
  18. There could be other costs there. Bioware was bought out by EA. The costs from that could be included in some of the estimates. There could have been licensing fees paid out to Lucas. BLAH BLAH. Really unless Bioware comes out and says this is what we spent we won't know. Best way to find out may be if they end up having to declare a loss on it and the financials come out with that.
  19. The game isn't going to die. Most MMOs from what can be seen have survived with far less that what WoW has. It just may not last as the success everyone is touting it is right now.
  20. There is not point to people being critical of the man now. People who read that article will see him for exactly for what he is.
  21. I read this...it was just beautiful....just beautiful.
  22. Most MMOs have an auto return to sender if an item sits in the mail box for too long, I believe it saves on space or something. Plus a mail box is not a replacement for a bank.
