  1. there is a huge difference between playing with a friend you know and playing joining solo mara/sentinel need support and this is why there is such a wide range of opposite comment about it if you play alone/solo 90% of the time don't play mara if u have a group of 1 or 2 friend joining with you mara/sent are fine i wonder why is so hard to accept it, there are solo oriented class (mostly the stealth one and some type of tank) and there are group based class (pure dps and most healers) if you play a group based class in solo prepare to have very hard time but is not the class under powered is the way the game is designed if all class were equally effective as "solo" it wouldn't make sense, accept it and pick accordingly.
  2. you are right at 55 augment is a must... no one is denying it (I will get there sooner or later and will post picture as well) but 10-54 i would say it's all about money they cost and the difference in performance is not worth it if u have extra cash why not! i will check at 53 (the closest u get at 55 the more the gap should be bigger with augment or without) i am actually surprise that the gap is still so small at 49 i was expecting augment making more of a difference around 45+ under 45 they give you a number of stat too small that once bolstered is like a drop in a ocean like +60 over 2600

    if you are okey with waiting a long long time to get what you want... but i think a better system should be having 1 favorite (that will give you half of the reward) so you queue for all of them but u cast a "favorite vote" this will make it less random and will add up to the favorite of the ohter 8 player thinking that you pay and u have the right to make other 7 player play what you want to play is stupid... but having a favorite that give a modifier to what pop could be intresting as if there is like 6 people and all would like to play hutball it make sense that it pop more often people in MMO only see their money and their point of view too bad all other player pay as well and you cannot always get what you want in a social enviroment you have to compromise with all the ohter players.
  8. he is asking to make it like in other games i played, where anti-CC skill actually make you immune for 4-5 sec but in the other games game u can only have 6/7 skill on the bar at same time so you have to choose thats why one skill have multiple effects here you can have all the skills you want in the bar so they divided the CC that remove the stun from the one that make you immune.
  9. the need of some player to preach other player is annoying even more annoying is the mentality min/max or else is wrong but more annoying over all is having someone whispering you after he lost to tell you that you are doing it wrong. you actually maxed them all out if I were that player I would have moved you on ignore probably after the first 2/3 sentence and i am surprise how patient he was. please restrain yourself from telling other player that just beat you fair and square how to play.
  10. the picture i made are fully augmented vs full green it still doesnt matter till you get lvl 40+ under 30 the augment give you so little stats that once bolstered is like a tear in the ocean that lvl 31 picture has 14 augment all 14 purple... and still the difference is less the 5% once you get to lvl 43-45 i think the difference it slightly better but u can probably do real good without... at lvl 49 i think is when the gap get bigger and fully augmented will make a decent impact

I dont know what u are smoking but i only use crit/surge and power in none of my gear i have defence or shield i do yes use tank stance for my Shadow that is true so yes my defence is high because i am in tank stance but i have not one tank gear so all u are saying after that is mot since your first hypotesis is wrong in fact if you look at the picture even before bolster you will see my crit rating beeing between 20-25% surge around 65% explain that with tank gear and i made those picture less then 1 month ago after 2.8 so i really have no clue what u are talking about
  12. a lvl 31 vs a lvl 50+ the real advantage is in the ability points and skill you get on the way the gears count perhaps for if u are really like 5% i think bolster do a good job at balancing it too bad nobody though about bolstering abilities overall i would say lvl gap count for a good 30% gear for a 5% skill for a 15% joining as group (group composition) and voice chat the remaining 50% the true is a good player that has skill tend to always find easily a group rarely an excellent player end up with nobody inviting him in a group so in reality you get skill+group advantage almost always go together and that close the deal gear or not really count nothing if u have a group and u are a good player (lvl still count a lvl 31 can be a great player and can be in a pre-made but if the other pre-made is made of player 50+ he has no real chance no matter how much skill he has as the other will not be so so terrible)

    maybe because u are not too bright, there is not real winner in a game there is fun. there are looser the one that RUIN the fun behaving bordering exploit to "win" as they cannot see there is no win there is only fun or not fun.

    I just don't get it... why people say who the **** care about solo ranked... honestly who care about "group" ranked is a *********** game u can be number 1 you are still a looser that play too much video games with the skill of a developed monkey with 3 other developed monkey friends this is a game and joining with a group a solo queue is not a crime is just stupid it shows you have really low self-esteem and most of all the real problem here you are ruining the "fun", the game, the free time of someone else. Someone else that doesn't lack self-esteem that doesn't need to prove his worth in a videogame but that play just to have fun and enjoy a couple of hours without the need to organize himself his friend his life around it. When you play solo you still group with other 3 people they can still be your friend maybe new friend, you are NOT matched with 3 NPC ! it is still a social game even when you join solo you can still chat and communicate is still possible, solo queue doesn't mean single player game it is still a multi-player game! Whoever feel the need to sync in solo is a looser end of story he need to boost his ego with some easy win because he cannot compete in group or because group is not popping but if all the looser would mans up and premade without the fear of other premade i am sure premade queue would pop.
  18. and that is the problem what if i see the person there and he is not there server wise... it's all nice and dandy movement and crap but the the game is not anymore about who is better but how live closer to server or has better ping/better computer that is true with LOS as well but one thing is base the all game on it one thing is like in SWTOR beeing "a small part" of the game this becomes a huge problem when number get bigger and you had lag to the equation I don't see WS very skillful i see WS being very computer-speed/internet-speed based Reflex/movement is not the only skill in MMO strategy objective understanding of the battlefield use of terrain they should be all more important then "monkey" reflex. I see MMO more like a "general" training with overview over the battle and programming next move then a "Rambo" style ME ME ME 1 vs 1000 type of gameplay (that is called PVE in my opinion if u want to test ur monkey reflex play PVE in nightmare mode)
  19. having objective make it easier for a group of people without communication to work together as the goal is set by the game. in arena the goal change depending from the team you are facing and is every time different communication is the base of this warzone and it have no sense played as "solo" in a random group I agree

From the player/mechanics point of view there is not one CONS in separating them, since people hate them so much that they most of the time leave them. it will improve both game-play and fun factor. It will pop less but honestly is it worth to play 2vs4 or 3vs4 more often instead of 4vs4 less often only victory farmers would think it is. If the goal is to play and have fun there is really no CONS in dividing the arena the only real CONS is coding wise time invested and money invested in doing the change. It may not be worthy overall for BW to invest in it especially since it could be a quite radical change in the code as we cannot know about it. people that try to find CONS from a gameplay point of view are buffoons in my opinion forcing a player to a game play knowing he "CAN" leave is just idiotic as mechanic not only ruin his time but even the time of the other 3 that actually ENJOY arena is a lose lose situation. btw Arena should be "group" only content the real PVP queue should be 1) Casual Warzone (solo/group) - warzone (no arena) 2) Training Arena (group only) - Arena (no other warzone) 3) Solo Ranked (solo only) - warzone (no arena) 4) Group Ranked (group only) - Arena (no other warzone) it would be nice to have 5) Op Ranked (group only) - warzone (no arena) << (but it would be semi-desert so i wouldn't waste time)
  21. if you group wouldnt you have more fun to meet an enemy that is a group as well instead of 8 (and sometimes less 7-6) single players I dont get why premade always try to defend their easy win vs fun matches I play as group when i see someone on line i like to play with and rolling over single player with the group make me log off pretty quickly as group i would rather fight other groups! there is nothing to fear in spearate queue obviously only after cross-server queue i think cross-server should be number 1 (and only) concern about pvp
  22. you cannot block teamspeak or whatever other chat people use the only thing you can really do is a solo "only" queue where sync-joining won't work solo queue where no matter "when u join" it will start a 1 to 5 min countdown in which the system gather all the player that want to play solo and then after 5 min he start a game with the best match possible including a rank/class selection and picking low lvl and high lvl at same time balancing them this and cross-server queue all the rest wont work
  23. is easy to understand why you are a lvl 55 with 100 alacrity a lvl 30 with 100 alacrity is 10% alacrity (example) a lvl 55 with 100 alacrity is 2% alacrity (example) this is why green gear and purple gear wont make any difference because the gear stay the same lvl and at 55 the number of alacrity you can have with purple gear lvl 30 is insignificant and wont make any difference so i have like 70% surge at lvl 40 with my purple gear but once i get bolsterd at 55 the same number of surge is equal to 60% gear count very very little in the equation especially under 40 the quantity of stats u can get with purple at lower lvl is so a small number 100 crit for istance that once bolstered at 55 mean close to nothing this is why people can safely pvp in green (gear wise) what really make the difference is the level of the ability u are using when u upgrade your ability u get bonus on the damage u apply a project lvl 3 is way different then a project lvl 5 and that doesnt get bolstered
  24. when you wear that type of relic the instant you put it in ur slot it goes in cooldown i change gear and take the screenshoot right away so the relic look in cooldown but is not beeing used (as u cannot use it in PVP so i dont use it to buff myself in this test) i want to highlight the difference in damage lvl 41 (without bolster) max damage 770 (in green) max damage 1095 (in full purple) Delta damage = 325 (so effectivly in full purple as lvl 41 you hit 45% harder then a full green) lvl 41 (bolstered) max damage 2177 (in green) max damage 2309 (in full purple) Delta damage = 132 (so effectivly in full purple as lvl 41 bolstered you hit 5-6% harder) the closer you get to 54 the more your secondary stat will be important and gear will count (i am sure at 50 full green or full purple the gap will be slightly bigger but not in the damage itself but in the crit/surge/alacrity) undel lvl 40 i would say it make no real difference beeing full purple or full green to pvp the real difference is the quantity and quality of ability/skill a lvl 31 will lose 100% vs a lvl 54 because his skill are few ranks below and that result in way less damage! (NOT BECAUSE OF GEAR!) so far in my investigation i can say that lvl 10-29 and 30-54 bolster work quite nicely (GEAR WISE) and nobody should be afraid of "try" pvp even if they have the worst gear AS LONG AS THEY HAVE GEAR IN EVERY SLOT The problem in my opinion sort of imbalance between match of 30s vs 50s is the skills/abilities number of stun/mezz/ and pure increase damage on higher lvl skills i still see lvl 40+ using no relics each empty slot of your gear make HUGE difference in bolster results
