On The Ebon Hawke server, rarely does it ever take me more than one LFG statement in general chat to fill a group...and I seriously do mean rarely. I don't have to do anything special to make groups happen. I hardly think someone is going to /ignore me for posting in general just once. If they do, then its their loss because one day they will need to fill their group I wont know about it because they have me on /ignore.

All I do is type in general chat: "LFG <Quest Name> PST" and I get a group in minutes, simple really. People make these things harder than it ought to be due to their lack of social skills... just sayin'

I love how players try to set up their own voting booths in the general forum and that it somehow pressures EA/Bioware to change their policies to suit those who vote in favor of the OP. If you really want to change how a company operates, unsub and put this as the reason. While you are at it, get about half of the other 1 million players to do the same thing. Until then, suck it up cupcake.

Yeah, I'm sure we won't see a full-blown space combat game the likes of EVE anytime soon, but I would be thrilled to see another "SWG: JTL" expansion. It would also help the immersion if it would be more of an adventure flying from one location to another rather than how it is now. It feels kind of empty and not really fun when you can just fly from one planet to another in just a click of a mouse and it takes only a second or two. I think it would be cool to be able to launch a snub fighter from the cargo bay and fight off waves of enemy fighters while one person flies the ship and maybe a couple other people manning the turrets and have someone with starship engineering skills running around making repairs during a battle, and oh and maybe someone else operating the shields and transferring power to where needed, all while your R2 unit desperately tries to plot a hyperspace route so you can escape. For the designers, this is called "Tension". Tension makes a game fun. Tension means you have something to lose by participating in a dangerous conflict situation, but you also have something to gain as well. Tension will keep players coming back for more and more and more until they are falling asleep at their computers. Make it too easy and players will only enjoy the game for a while and then they will be like, "Meh, next!" I love the story lines, I love having my own ship, I even love the look and feel of the costumes and gear...sorta... I just want more... openness, randomness, challenge. I'm not saying I am unsubbing or anything. I am still having fun, don't get me wrong. I just don't foresee this being fun for long without a major overhaul of the space aspect of the game, I'm sorry. I miss the days of X-wing, Tie Fighter, and X-wing Vs. Tie Fighter and Jump to Lightspeed. I never liked firefox or any other rail shooter and so guess what, this is just not my cup of tea. Right now I miss Eve Online because in that game, if your ship got blown up, guess what, you had to go and build a new one, and that's your tough luck, but you know, that's what made that game exciting, because you never knew who was lurking in lowsec space waiting to gank your sorry ***. This game definately does not have that feel at all. Not even close. It's a lot like ************ without the fun payoff at the end of it. Maybe you should at least move in this direction, start working on it, let us know you are working on it, give us a time when we can expect it, and maybe you might save some customers along the way.

Companies don't charge taxes because they want to, they do it because the government makes them do it. In the US, if the company you are recieving the services from is located in the same state where you reside, or where you are recieving the service, then you will pay all applicable state and local sales taxes, otherwise you don't. I don't live in Europe so I don't know about that. Great game...agreed. I just wish I could settle on one character and stop making so damn many alts... I do this with every MMO, and I almost never get to see endgame content. But, I have fun anyway...

I have to agree with the OP. I believe the idea was born of corporate greed, the need to encourage new signups. I think its stupid and just makes the game worse. I hate how games have become so dumbed down in this era, quite boring frankly.

Just go into general chat, type: "LFG [Quest name]" and rinse and repeat until your group is filled, then go to it... simple really
