Im sure it'd be too difficult, but something like a beastmaster mount, where you mount an animal local to the planet you are on, or planet/area specific speeder if wildlife is non-existant. Also, class specific mount options. Perma-rocket boots for BH, 110 run speed for troopers (all that PT you get in the Military), Some force flight/bubbles, lightning sphere stuff for the forcees. Agents and smugglers. . . heck I dunno. Smugglers ride Bowdaar and OPs get a segway? :smugg:

as a Scout, I love the cluster missiles fully upgraded with the 2-fer and ammo capacity increase for dogfights and "everyday use" If I die and there is a red satellite with 3 turrets, Ill pull out the Nova with its deadfire missiles. I can take out all 3 turrets in 1 swoop around the satellite with those missiles and Rapid-Fire Lasers.

I do like this idea. Would really help with going back to farm materials and resources, makes sense from a technology standpoint and doesn't seem to hard to implement nor would it "break" anything that I can foresee. High Five

Now I know not everyone loves the space combat. I do however. One thing I think that could really help this game feel "bigger", make you feel like you're actually flying planet to planet, and tie in space combat, would be to have these space combat missions surface while traveling in your starship. Obviously there should be an check box in the options somewhere like: [_] DISABLE SPACE COMBAT ON TRAVEL I have been doing this manually the past few days, choosing to beat a space mission en route to another planetary destination. While Ive been doing this the past few days, it's been a great break from normal gameplay while traveling, has helped the galaxy FEEL bigger by actually flying through space to get to other planets, and my fleet comms are starting to stack up again, which is nice for those grade 8 crafting materials Just a thought, and I will continue to engage in space combat when I travel, but it's been so much fun, I just thought Id come share my idea.

Last event all those light stick wielding sissies got green-black crystals. Didnt do a lot for those of us with guns My main is a Smuggler, so yeah Ive been left out of any cool weapon stuff, so if the 3rd event doesnt have something pistol-ish, then I can understand being upset, but so far: All jedi got the chance to swing the green-black stick, the troopers (Commando's can use the crossbow, the only skill I wasnt able to use was Hail of bolts or w/e) and IA's get some cool stuff this time. I think a pistol version, like a smaller crossbow would have been a good move, but they didnt do it. If you're reading this while wearing a tin foil hat, then yes, BW hates you and your smuggler/Bounty Hunter! EDIT: And people complaining that the armor for this event is just a reskinned set thats already available. . . well the containment set was also just a reskin of the Troopers Tionese/Columi/Rakata set so, at least they're consistant

We have 24 servers not touched yet that are PVE East. I'm on The Shadowlands, we have an awesome population after hearing some of these people (80-110ish fleet at peak, 40-50 when I ditch work and sneak a log-in during the day) So far 10 have fed into each Oro and Covenant, the remaining 24 might be able to support a 3rd destination (fingers crossed) but we'll see, they may just split and add 12 more to each Oro and Cov EDIT: got beaten to the punch before I could post heh.

NOOOO, think how much people could have QQd if Bioware listend to their pouting and opened up transfers on every server at once! This is too small of a failure to make them truly happy, but they'll try n blow it up

Server: The Shadowlands Server type: PVE If you wish to include your guild or any others: There are several large guilds on both sides. The overwhelming majority of which are full of mature, awesome people. Estimate of current population: Some nights there are over 100 in fleet, and others we sit around 60-70. Would I like it to be a higher number? Heck yeah, but when I read some of the posts about people on the dead servers, I'm really glad I stuck with The Shadowlands through the queue times at launch. How is your community: A, wait for it. . . .MAZING. I know we had an absolute blast with the plague event, like posted above we just had a cross faction podrace. Asking questions in general chat does not usually bring down a rain of fire, there may be a couple snarky remarks but no question goes unanswered General information like finding groups to PvP with, Finding groups for PvE and things like that: I know many of the guilds have OPs teams, very often see pick-ups forming in fleet for HMFPs and OPs, PVP is an absolute blast, several premades on both sides and plenty of solo folx.

I mean all of the above wasn't a choice so. . . . Pod/Speeder racing all day. Just like MarioCart and Blur, loved those games. Power ups that spawn on the track, regular and heat seeking missiles, drop mines etc. . "Wall of crazy" for sure but even having it tied to your in game speeder(s) and possibly modifiable would be amazing. We already have the 3 speed classes/level gates. Please oh please do this someday BW.

Im not deep into the lore so maybe someone can answer. No where in the lore did the child/wife/friend/relative of another choose to support the opposite faction? Was there ever a time when someone, who had force sensitive relatives, find out later in their life that they were in fact force sensitive as well? With Twi'leks, Zabrak, and humans already on both sides of the fence, is it that hard to believe that possibly, in an entire race of people, say the Chiss, that one of them disagrees with what the empire stands for? I just dont see the huge lore disconnect but then again, Im mot as deep into it as some people are. IMHO, if someone is paying to play a Star Wars MMO, took the time to level a pureblood inquisitor to 50, wanted to role play a litte and say that his child resented him, resisted his training and eventually fled the Empire rather than be killed?

And actually they DID address the framerate issue. They said theyre working on tweaking and making the game playable on low end systems, and that many of the tweaks will benefit everyone. And honestly, not everyone even has the issue, so common troubleshooting would point at either the users end or the ISP, thats the only variable really.

I have also been trying to think of possible classes that could be added. I like your idea of the "pet classes" as playing a MasterMind in CoH/V was pretty fun. Kinda hard (for me anyway) to transpose some of the other classes used in other games into the Star Wars universe and have them fit, but I think Technician and Beastmaster do a pretty good job. Not really feeling the pirate/biker one but thats just opinion. I think it would be easy to incorporate a pet class into PvE, but then theres always PvP balance that ends up ruining good PvE ideas For gearing the technician/beatmaster, possibly light+cunning/aim for pet AC and either medium+aim or heavy+cunning for tank (depending on which stat is used)? That would make 3 non force and 2 force sensitive classes, now come up with a new force sensetive class!

My take: Need: For me, bottom line, my character can use this. Greed: My companion could use it. I'd NEVER roll NEED for a companion. Pass: Neither myself or my comapnion can use this. I thought this was generally the way it was "meant" to be. Rolling NEED for companions is a Chad move. IMHO anyway.

Ive never used keybinds before, never had an issue being a clicker, but then again I VERY rarely did/do PVP or max level content. Ive always been a max level PvE, roll an alt. I do want to start PVPing and get "better" at this game (again, clicking is fine for me PvE but I want to improve reaction times for PvP/Grouping). Starting off Ive only keybound 4 things for my Scoundrel, level 27. My "Break Free" and "Interrupt" are side buttons on my mouse, as it seemed the best place for "Oh S^" moments. Medkit is on E (still using WASD+Mouse for movement) and shield is at F. For me, it's a start, but I am intrested in this thread and seeing what others use.

Yes, staying. $0.50/day is cheaper than ANY of my other habits and Im personally having fun. Cant say its the best MMO available for everyone, people are differrent and want different things, but for me, this game is great

Saw it too several times. I believe it is the animation for the enemies threat reduction or taunt ability, not sure which or if thats even the case but its my best bet.

Keybind it? Seriously though, I played CO where the "regen/free" attack was auto. It was great, I could eat lunch WHILE playing, and for trash mobs, the auto alone would work, freeing up the other hand for a frosty beverage. Personally (<----that word means for ME) I like having to select my regen/free attack. It gives people with a good rotation and understanding of force building/heat dissipating an edge over spammers. With diminishing returns on w/e your energy/ammo/heat is, keeping your bar in that sweet spot or burning hot on purpose just prior to a PLANNED use of the vent heat, is what makes for intresting, skilled fights, again, FOR ME.

Yes, there are bugs, but with my slow to level, alt making self, I have yet to encounter any of them that caused a game over. Minor annoyances are expected (by me anyway) and I'm INVESTING in the game because I think it's got a ton of potential. Where do I draw the line time wise? "If X isn't here by Y Ill quit!"? Cant say, won't say. Im having fun and getting my $0.50 a day worth of entertainment. If anything I can say SWTOR has cost me money because I havn't played Skyrim, CoD or Battlefront (still in plastic) since loading SWTOR. So yeah, DAMN YOUZ SWTOR!!! How dare you make me waste my money by providing me (not you) with so much entertainment that Ive neglected other games!!
