We should try to get ONE working lore/db site
SunwindIon replied to Angedechu's topic in Community Content
Are you wondering why do people always insist on having to make their own wikis, resulting in multiple ones and just making it harder for PLAYERS to find info? I'll tell you why. Money. Ads and money. -
Leg Slash still cancels itself 99% of the time you try to use it.

Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game
SunwindIon replied to Daedricshots's topic in General Discussion
Sorry but quite a lot of people care about what their avatar looks like, i'm sure you'd be complaining if your characters head was 3x the size as normal or something equally retarded. -

Now I know what you're talking about, yes I have experienced that bug. -
Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game

Don't put words in my mouth, that is not what I said at all. I can think of at least 5 bugs that have been "fixed" in recent patches that are still in the game. -

I played WoW for a good few years and don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about, sorry. -
Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game
SunwindIon replied to Daedricshots's topic in General Discussion
Look, stopping new content doesn't mean PUT THOSE PEOPLE ON BUGFIX DUTY. It means stop adding buggy, un-tested content while the BASE GAME itself is still a giant buggy mess. If they keep adding new content before they fix the massive amount of bugs in the base game, they are just going to end up with more and more bugs. For example, I bet you $100 that they add a new Operation to the game before they even finish fixing all the bugs related to the bosses in Eternity Vault. And that new Operation is going to have a ton of bugs all to itself. Of couse they would say that, what do you want them to say? "The game is a buggy mess and we'd really like another 6 months of development time but EA is forcing us to push it out early, sorry guys I hope you buy the game anyway!" -

I bet Bioware would disagree. EA on the other hand don't give a flying bantha. -
Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game

This bug is actually back in the game now. "Cannot do that while in a vehicle." Is there really anything more to say? the evidence of their incompetence speaks for itself. I'm sorry but it's true. -
Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game
SunwindIon replied to Daedricshots's topic in General Discussion
For some reason unbeknown to the rest of us, apparently it takes Bioware a lot more to fix a bug than it does other, less well known MMO developers. Funny how that works huh. All the bugs in SWTOR must be massively integrated into the workings of the game, I imagine they have 12 people working night and day on a single bug just to get it fixed! (And then they release a patch, and it didn't fix anything anyway while introducing a couple more bugs. lulz) -
Going to paste this from another thread because it's relevant here. Off the top of my head things that ruin my gaming experience on a daily basis: Giant butt issue with robes, still not fixed from beta. Anti-Aliasing still doesn't work with my graphics card. Missing high-res textures for characters outside of cut-scenes. Low-performance engine on my high-end system. Chat window settings, minimap zoom level and action bar lock state resetting every time I change map. The ridiculous and unnecessary change to the visual cue abilities have so now I can't tell if something is on cooldown or not. Note: SUPPOSED to have been fixed in todays patch, isn't! Numerous bugs in all flashpoints and operations. Grass that literally grows out of the ground as you walk because there's no option to set the draw distance. Rakata weapons STILL worse than Columi. Filter by Usable on vendors/GTC does not work at all. Not getting credit for victories in warzones. Note: SUPPOSED to have been fixed in todays patch, isn't! Speed hacks and noclip hacks being used publicy in huttball games with the offenders not getting banned. Complete lack of customer support and GM infrastructure. Bioware have obviously outsourced their customer support that handles tickets to some third party company, i'm not blaming them, because they can only do their job, but they're not proper GMs and don't know *anything* about the game. This results in all tickets being closed with an automated response.

Bioware: STOP new content. START fixing the game
SunwindIon replied to Daedricshots's topic in General Discussion
Funny how an AAA developer like Bioware can't put out an MMO without it being a buggy mess and many unknown devs can, but I guess the exception makes the rule right? Bioware has people that fix bugs? TIL... -
it's okay guys, we can all go home and stop posting. Catch_TwentyTwo doesn't have the bug so it must not exist, we're imagining it.

Even if that is the case, they obviously need more people working on fixing problems, so TAKE THOSE DEVS OFF NEW CONTENT AND PUT THEM ON BUG-DUTY! -

Biowares patches don't even fix half the things they claim to fix, and often introduce NEW bugs, have you not been paying attention!? -

THIS. I don't care about new content when the game is a buggy mess. I just feel so..defeated. posts like yours are numerous and sum up the problem perfectly, not just on this issue but many other issues the game has. I just don't know what else to say on them, bioware isn't doing anything about them, are they just abandoning the game or something? it's like, they spend years developing this game, and then it comes out and their after-support is just abysmal, are all the interns doing all the work or something?

please don't clutter up the general forum with non-issues like this when there are far more important issues to be discussed.
