Hell yea, BC has the best community imo. *life day cheer* I feel like we offer a perfect niche for (although not limited to) semi-casual players. One tip I am definitely taking from your video is moving my raid frame closer to center so I can click on a specific person easier. I use shift+tab to target friendlies but it's so random at times it can take way too long to cycle to the right person and moving my mouse all the way over to the side is just silly. Thanks punk! =p I dunno how you can do it without the health numbers up though, I need the text for those tough "who gets the next heal" moments. >.<; I liked the intro too. XD

Well I used to be on Jung Ma and although it's a smaller community than the other two, it has some great guilds and interesting RP-PVP events that they try to host somewhat frequently. I can't speak for Ebon Hawk, but all my mains are on Begeren Colony now and that is another great community. BC also has a lot of great guilds and there are weekly RP events for most nights of the week. Tonight is a DK rp night, tomorrow is Tython's weekly night and then Friday is always on the barge on NS, etc. We use begerencolony.org to do most of the communicating with each other. =) You can also check out the server group forums section here, and then check out all 3 servers as I believe most of them have at least a few RP related threads. Happy hunting! EDIT: Also, sometimes a /roll system can be used if you want to rp fight instead of in-game duel. You can create your characters with points spent in specific areas like you would with pen & paper RP and post your character sheet on the site, etc. There's a lot of options and it seems a good mix of everything is used.

Don't feel bad about that, I had a hard time maxing comms over the weekend with the double xp too. For future toons though, try to max out regular wz comms and get as many ranked comms banked as possible too. You'll have to be level 40 to reach valor 40, but once you do that you can buy ranked comms from one of the pvp vendors. My sage was able to buy 8 pieces of partisan when she dinged 55 because of that. Then I bought the 9th (to finish off my 4 piece set bonus) with an alt and used legacy gear to transfer the mods. XD

Glad it looks like you already got some nice help with what's happening. =) With the old pvp gear, it made sense to buy mainhand and offhand first when going from recruit to war hero, so it's a reasonable misunderstanding to have now but as some one else said, that is no longer the case. I slapped this image together for my own personal use because I like having pictures to look at, and it might help you too as you earn more comms for partisan gear: Partisan Purchase Order If it's a confusing, messy blob, here's an explanation: Expertise on any gear that isn't partisan+ will hinder bolster's effect, so no recruit gear or anything like that should be worn. Lastly for the augments, main stat isn't always best. My healy op gets a better return to her bonus damage and bonus healing with power augments. It probably just varies on role? Not entirely sure... I tested by buying a purple 28 of both augments, popping one in and checking my character sheet stats. Then I removed it and popped the other augment in and compared the stats. Once I decided on power (overkill) augments, blew my creds on those for the rest of my pieces. Happy Hunting!

This probably would have been a good topic for last year when the mergers actually happened. <.<; But... Jung Ma's population was hardly as low at that time as it is now. It wasn't until about a month after the forced mergers that it seemed a lot of people either quit playing or re-rolled elsewhere. And that was just my perception of Republic fleet population and warzone queue pops at the time. I rerolled to BC at that point because I was too impatient to wait for the added character slots, but also because selling stuff on the GTN was becoming more difficult for me. The server isn't a ghost town but it is noticeably lower pop than the rest. Its idea of "standard" is what other servers would probably consider "very light." (Those designations vary so much because they seem to be based on what each server can handle and not all servers can handle the same amount apparently.) It works out to be about 17 bucks a pop for transfers, which is nice considering WoW's 25. And everything in your legacy transfers too, which really makes the price seem a steal. If you're super super unhappy, I'd recommend you move your main off and then follow the suggestion above and save up cartel coins for the other toons in your arsenal. With the next (and last) double XP weekend coming up and starting an entire day early on Thursday morning, you could roll an alt or two on the destination server and level them easily too. =)

So much truth. <3 Miss seeing you around but I think a lot of us understand you're meaning. And hope the vacation is fun! And you inadvertently brought up a good point I think some of the younger players don't think of. Summer doesn't always = more game time. It seems the older I get, the less I want to game in the summer. But when I was younger, summer meant setting up giant LAN parties with my brothers and nerding out in game marathons. XD Either way, the change in pvp attitude was something I noticed too and even worse, I started taking part in... dunno what happened or what brought it all about but it's a dang good reason (out of several) to take a break.

Oh man I am with you completely... raged out on some newbies in a novare match a few days ago for us losing the south bunker when we had plenty of people there, but all of them were fighting off the freakin cap zone. HATE stupid crap like that in 55 pvp. But I hate people that give up and putz around the whole match too and that's exactly what I did. *sigh* Terrible. Took a long break after that. >.<;;; Also alt/server hopping with double xp and transfers around. I moved my Jung Ma toons around to a couple different servers and have been seriously enjoying dusting them off. Currently working on finishing up the "Send them Running" weekly on my commando where you had to collect armaments and kill enemies on Ilum, and/or play a bunch of warzones. XD Lydiah would be better geared... but I prefer to have all my 55's in augmented partisan rather than worrying about wasting the comms for 2 more endurance a piece on conqueror's. (Ok that's not exact but still, I don't find the comm cost to come close to being worth it save for a few things like the implants.) And I sure don't give two craps about ranked, too much epeen bs involved in that. It's like some people think if they win a ranked match they just gained immortality irl and if they lose a ranked match some one will come kill them in their sleep later that night. I already know I'm not the best and I don't care to be the best... as long as people don't see me on their team and assume we're doomed to lose, I'm doing good enough. XD I suppose if we had ranked happening more often then it wouldn't be such a big deal to win or lose... for that sake I would be willing to help get ranked going. TL;DR;BBQ;NOMNOM; I've been ragey at newbies too and I'm sorry for it. Transfers + double XP = happy fun time. I'd be willing to help make ranked a more popular thing...I guess. =p

I think that's kinda what the other person was saying. The queue for pvp was 3-5 times longer on Jung Ma (and therefore worse) than Harbinger. =) I moved several toons off Jung Ma on Tuesday that hadn't been touched in almost a year. Relatively 17 bucks a pop with the entire legacy transferring too? Definitely worth it imo. Been enjoying Harb for sure with the 2 that were moved here and the subsequent new alts that were rolled. XD

Yea I'd like to know what the numbers are too because Jung Ma's "standard" seems it'd be better off saying "VERY Light" instead. =p I agree with Valya's post completely though. A minority of a minority is departing and then there's other players looking to transfer in. Although overall I expect us to stay about the same I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a small increase rather than decrease. Hmmm... *ponders further and puffs on bubble pipe*

All the BC Kupos are staying here but I rolled a bunch of alts on Harbinger.... Glitterstim legacy, wut! Mains are a twiho sniper named Rou'lette and a twiho guardian named Thrette (for anyone else going that wants to keep in touch.) Well OP, it varies greatly on this server, (as I'm sure it does on every server.). Typically I PUG wz's in every tier and you can have your terribad teams (which to me it sounds like you had) and your great teams that take down a premade. I freakin hate that 2/6/0 bs of just freely giving the other team a node right off the start. Don't let it deter you from queueing just know that's the risk. As others have said, if you have the time in the future, I would say something in ops chat beforehand. Look at the team make-up to see if some one else would be better going for theirs or just straight up say, "I'm gonna stall them at east and then respawn mid." Most groups seem to respond well to just knowing intentions ahead of time rather than having a "rogue" player ignoring a plan. And actually I think holding the sides is easiest with the direct speeder access from spawn and the tunnel under mid with the speed boosts. Soooo... poo on those punks.

Herro! I moved over from Jung Ma last summer after the mergers and never looked back. This is a great community overall and I think our pvp scene will be a good fit for you. We have frequent pops but as Jaadis described, ranked isn't a totally happening thing. But if you kind of warzone on the side and more-so look to PVE and/or RP, we're perfect for ya!
