  1. Indeed, indeed... highly informative. Seems my problem is not enough winter gear. DAMN IT FLORIDA, I'm moving into an igloo.
  2. But...but... double xp is then, isn't it? D:
  3. 1) The easiest way in my opinion is to just bring out a different companion for the conversations. Even if they too, don't like it, you're not trying to romance them so whatevs. I liked Gault as usually his reactions were amusing. 2) Another way is to shower her with gifts. Her favorite is technology, she also likes underworld trading gifts and will really like courting once you get her to a certain point. There are others she will like, but the affection return isn't worth it to me so I don't have those written down, although google can help if you really want. 3) A third method is to just use diplomacy (crew skill) to keep your DS points going while making choices that she likes... however I think that takes too long as the points from it are much less than what conversation options give. Not to mention your story would then play out LS and that seems silly if you're wanting the DS experience. To elaborate on the gifts, if you haven't been leveling a crew skill that can be sent out for them, (diplomacy, investigation, underworld trading or treasure hunting,) then buying them can get expensive. If her affection is below 1000, I'd start with rank 1 gifts until they stop giving a good return and then probably move up to rank 3. Gifts can be bought from the GTM section of fleet by a vendor or by the GTN terminals under the miscellaneous section.
  4. Oooooooh! She looks different when she's not /grovel
  5. Fire is the worst for me too, for the same reason. Too much red on the screen. I usually do the target and gear on ops/scoundrels, the star and lightning for sorcs/sages... after that I cry. I also have never been able to get used to playing with class symbols on... it got too confusing in chaotic matches. Most times with a pug, the marks will go unnoticed but I still do it on the off chance some one on the team knows what's up... and also for myself to pay attention to that person and try to interrupt/cc.
  6. Definitely dig that Riven look! And freakin Mallo.... XD My favorite outfit is on Pichan, my sage. <3 Lydiah is a pretty basic Imperial officer type, although she "got her hair did" after losing her job. Pubs, I was just glad to have a toon that could wear the beret since it makes people with hair go bald. Pallis was somewhat designed after my brain's version of Pallas Athena. Imps also include some basic Mandalorian armor, a cross-dressing sniper and a purple swamp monster. Jairos was pretty trolly though, so I moved him to Bastion.
  7. GENIUS!!! XD Although I had meant to ask if there was any rhyme/reason to how much time is lost when transferring a toon between servers since Juli had posted it does affect time played. Can I cheat and add up time played on alts too or do you have that champed out as well?
  8. Is there any rhyme or reason to how much? My first "main" was moved and her time seems about right. 23 days for her while Lydiah is sittin at 29 days (lol so measly in comparison to OP.)
  9. Buahahahaaa! Also, I love the idea of the domination theme thingy... nice choice OP!
  10. Ha ha ha, well I didn't know her vanish was on cd! =p
  11. OMG... XD I might have done this on accident before. <_<
  12. Agreed completely. The whole, "I didn't like or participate in ranked so I'm glad no one else can do it!" is such a selfish and stupid response. Agreed with everything you said Jaadis but that last point really hit a strong note. It's freakin ridiculous that after so many people transferred servers the entire point of their transfers is nearly invalid. Exactly everything you said but especially that.^ CHOICES... people freakin want them. ESPECIALLY in games they pay to play. Why is that hard to understand? --------------------------------- We all know 8v8-ranked wasn't perfect but cripes... scrapping it was really the best they could do? After all this time? REALLY??? Don't get me wrong, I wanted deathmatch maps in this game very badly, just not at this cost!Ranked Huttball was some of the most challenging fun and intense competition I've ever experienced in a game. It will be a terribly sad day when it dies. I also think it's dumb we won't be able to queue for objective-based maps specifically or arenas specifically in reg queues. Being able to queue for both is great and all, but the option to opt out of one would be even greater.
  13. Yep yep Jordo, didn't see it much before but lately I have been seeing it a few matches in a row (by different punks too.) It had me totally confused... I didn't know that stuns and slows and all do light damage too. Cripes! That makes it way worse. D:
  14. Another thing I hate to see is a healer with ZERO freakin damage done. Like... really?! You NEVER had an opportunity to hit an enemy? Stop a freakin cap? NOTHING?! There was always some one dying wherever you were? 100% of the time?! I could maybe believe that on very rare occasions... But overall to me that just says, "I don't really care about winning the wz, I just want top heals." Don't get me wrong, some moments make it really hard to decide what to do and I think I have a bad habit of choosing attack instead of heal when I should heal... but trying to "fix" that problem by NEVER attacking a single person? Fail.
  15. Indeed... I too am a victim of this. =( It's not just BC either (for me anyway.) I also had it happen on Harbinger, Jung Ma and Bastion.
  16. LMAO!!!! Totally agreed. I have said, "Next people will want the game to level toons for them," as a way to try and shut up a troll on fleet. I CANNOT BELIEVE this is an actual suggestion. Talk about the "gimme gimme" attitude of recent generations, holy crap.
  17. I was told to come here for man sandwich sign-ups! appropriate explosm comic
  18. Indeed, I too have a hard time seeing certain target markers. And I dunno how anyone sees them at all if they have the class symbols turned on. D: I use target, star and lightning as my primary ones. After that... I cry because we can't kill that many healers. QQ. Also, everyone that has interrupts better be using them! Nothing like tryin to kill a healer and being the only one trying to interrupt their crap. Plus it's just fun as hell to interrupt a crappy player spamming tracer missile or grav round and then seeing them panic when they can't use it any more. (Most good one's won't panic though, and then I tend to explode.) I had to laugh about the merc comment but dang.... That is the hardest healer to kill imo. Or at least it is for me. =(
  19. But you are a sparkle tank and you HAVE a sparkle tank, it's perfect! Plus, it's easier to say than "Cutest Baby Glitter Tank" or something. Be glad she nicknamed you and not me.
  20. Lmao, no no, YOU are the cherry on top. Hmmm... I wouldn't mind being the sprinkles though!
  21. XD but of course! Sheesh, now we all know how you feel about reading non-essential posts.
  22. Right, but there's NOT always a reason to be there. Having reasons to be there means more people are in the area which means more variety in what you'll see happening. I don't understand why this is difficult to understand or even remotely surprising any more. I wasted like 2 hours in there with 2 other people the other day. Sometimes we ganked others and sometimes we were the ones being ganked. Sometimes we fought just the pubs and other times we decided that was boring and got into fights with fellow Imps. (Sagoda killed the **** outta me at one point, qq.) Other times we just spammed flashbangs and sleep darts. EDIT: In fact I think my favorite was the "King of the Rock" knockback adventures, lol. Don't get all butthurt when you die. Same faction or not, get a group together and fight back. This is freakin Star WARS.
  23. Quoted for freakin emphasis. ^^^ I hoped by now people would come to expect this from the Gree event. XD Some people enjoy the mass chaos of killing everything red while others just want to be jerks. Some people like to play Star Wars and kill the other faction while others want to spread love and peace across the galaxy. Some people just wanna grind rep and do quests, others already have max rep and want to give you a hard time. Sometimes you'll stand in a neat little line. Sometimes you'll die. A person that was a jerk to you one day might save your butt the next. Expect it all. Half the fun is not knowing.
