Every guild, or every raid group, seems to have one guy who, by doing this kind of stuff, adds stress to something that should be a pleasant activity. "You are not geared enough" or "c'mon guys this should be a 20 minutes run, focus everyone" or "***, why are you just standing there like an idiot". If this guy is an actual raid leader or guild officer or guildmaster, I would consider changing guilds. If he is that anal about normal mode ops, it ain't gonna get better in hardmodes. And if there is more than just one person like that, well, then see above.

Can someone with synthweaving just please confirm that they have indeed crit crafted a rakata belt with an augment slot after 1.2, preferrably recently. I am not asking for a lecture on probabilities. Just "yes i just got one after X attempts".

I noticed that too, I assumed it was just a part of his 'mechanic': - Before experimental cannon he likes to dump threat table - Experimental cannon is uninterruptable, and he completes it on his current target even if I taunt him in the middle of it, then switches back to me - While doing this, since I am now 2nd on his threat list, I get the blue plasma bubble on me.

Absolutely no difference other than looks.

I have downed this guy twice. The first time we did it with one melee DPS, I kited him around the room, it took us about 8 tries but be finally got it. The second time was with both ranged DPS. I just stood in the center and tanked him there Took two tries. The third time, last night, again with one melee DPS. Before the fight I told everyone what path I was going to take. Center -> right side -> far right corner -> far left corner ->center->left side, you know, and so forth. However, after two moves, there was literally nowhere for me to go - the blue bubbles were everywhere. Guard on melee DPS, to avoid them being 2nd threat. Tried several times, then gave up...

If I had a nickel for every time I heard this...

Priceless! My experience is: I have been told on some occasions "wow this is so easy, you're such a good tank" and on others "go read up on tanking, you dont know what your doing" and one guy went into general chat and announced to everyone how I could not hold aggro. If I pug and someone starts their "c'mon people this should be a 10 minute run" crap, I remove them from group if I am the leader, or quit the group if I am not. As for "explaining the fights and stuff", well, someone had to explain it to me the 1st time. I don't mind explaining a fight to a competent person. Its a good way to make friends in this game.

Well since no one replied, I will take a stab at a couple of things you mentioned 1. When the game originally came out, the "Battlemaster" gear tier was the PVP equivalent of the "Rakata" tier for PVE. Thats why some of the stats on battlemaster are slightly better. 2. If a BM piece has more armor but Columi has a higher primary stat, all other things being equal, I'd go with Columi. As an operative you either heal or DPS, so in raids you should not get hit very much (its the tank's job to get the **** pounded out of them).

Tarro Blood, 100 people on the fleet during peak hours. I still find people to raid with, but its down to maybe 3 or 4 guilds running regular raids.

It's 12 bucks a month. Going through the trouble of unsubscribing is not worth 12 bucks. Even if I raid twice a month with friends, it's worth it.

Braces - yes, critted but that was prior to 1.2 Belt - gave up after 15 tries. File a ticket, they should fix this...

Could you please confirm that there is a bug critical crafting of, specifically, the following: * Rakata relics by Aritfice * Rakata belts by Synthweaving There have been multiple posts indicating that the RNG that determines the critical success chance is either broken, or that the crit chance is way lower than is expected. For example, for synthweaving, the chance should stack as +5 (Jaesa bonus), +5 (full affection), +10 (base chance) Multiple people reported not seeing those odds. Yes we understand that this does not _guarantee_ a 1 in 5 crit, that these are only the odds. People have reported excessive streaks of unlucky rolls, however. If this is a bug, please fix it. If it is "just the nature of RNG" please consider changing that mechanic to something else. I don't want to be "unlucky" in the game. If I am equipped and supplied to crit craft a belt, I want to do so and continue to enjoy the game.

Social points should also be given for participating in Ops. If an operation does not test your social skills, I don't know what does.

We used to get the biometric crystal alloys from the last boss of every FP and a couple from each story mode operation. Then the drop rate was reduced. I think that dramatically reducing the drop rate of the biometric alloy has had a negative impact on the general interest in crafting and on the economy in general. They are just too rare now; also anyone with several million credits can buy up all the Alloys available on GTN in an attempt to corner the market, so the fact that they can be traded does not really alleviate the situation.

Rakata relics are supposed to be craftable with an augment slot. I have seen them but only crafted before 1.2 Rakata belt and braces are supposed to be craftable with an aument slot. I have braces with a slot that I crafted before 1.2. I made dozens of attempts at a belt, none critted. File a bug report. I did and after trying to tell me it was "working as intended", it has now been forwarded to the developers. Still won't refund my wasted mats though. I will try to get them to refund again once they confirm the bug.
