  1. All BioWare really needs to do is give the new player 15 free levels. The story is pretty addictive that they'd want to pay just to finish it. P.S. The smart ones will just watch it on youtube.

  4. AHAHAHAHAHAHA. What a joke, ranked warzones was the only thing keeping me here. I've always defended you, BioWare, but you've really dissapointed me and the rest of the PvP community.
  5. It'll be uninterruptible in 1.2. Carnage makes the enemy rooted. Also a new talent in carnage that increases ravage damage.
  6. I'm going carnage for rated for the pure simple reason that predation buff switched over there. It got buffed inmensely [ Now applies to all operation members], and in every single WZ, people that get to the node first always get an advantage(especially in the new WZ)

  9. I really don't understand why you would want a push.. The single greatest threat against any melee class is a class that can kite well, especially with marauders since almost all our "ranged" skills are at a 10m range. Pushing your target away is basically giving your target a free knockback. Following it up with a charge is also counter-productive since it could've been used for when your target would use THEIR knockback.
  10. The only thing that I'd like as a marauder is a Force Pull for obvious reasons.
  11. +1 to Arena. Ranked warzones coming out in 1.2 is a good step forward but as a hardcore PvPer, it will only satiate my PvP side for a little while. There NEEDS to be more variety in competitive PvP than ranked warzones, appealing to those who only wish to play with a close group of friends and who like challenging PvP, since a 2v2 or 3v3 is much less forgiving on mistakes than an 8v8. In my server, Iron Citadel, we have already created our own little "arena" or team tournaments. These were the highlight of mostly all of the PvPers in the server, and even people from other servers envied us for it. Sadly, however, it's been cut short due to the organizer of these events becoming bored with the game. But it just goes to show how the PvP community wants competitive PvP.   12. I'm sorry, there are MUCH more pressing issues at hand than a little clipping of the robe and, if I cared much about that, I'd be playing barbie girl online... I'm a barbie girl, in a barbie woooorld. I'm so plastic, it's fantastic.

  14. How about, an option to switch between the old one [ Before they made it so cooldowns were lit up], and the new one? I, for one, like the new system and I really hope they don't change it. It's a matter of personal preference now, and you cannot cater to one side without displeasing the other unless an option is added in.

  16. Apparently you didn't really get the point of his post, so I'll write it in big boy caps letters. IT WOULD HURT SALES. If the game had an ounce of torture past than what it has now, it would most likely be rated "M", and it would hurt their wallets. There are more teens playing this than there are people who appeal to torture [ Whether it be RP-related or not]. It's simple economics, the marginal cost far exceeds the marginal benefit.

  18. Yo, smart guys. Go back to WoW and see how horrible it is with the PvE trinkets on the rogues, which kills you in their opener. Or how about Mages that can shatter you for 50k? Or how about that the arena population is the lowest now than it has ever been. Or that there is NO WORLD PVP ever, in that game. This patch is not the end of the world, nor of this game. If you are so impatient to declare the game dead in less than a week that the mistake was made, I really hope you leave. Makes this community much more bearable.
  19. Marauder says hi, the class with less burst and even less utility. We have 1 CCs, a 6 second AOE one - Your class has a 10 second AOE one. No stuns. One CHANNELED hold which lasts three seconds. No idea why bioware would give a melee class a channeled ability.

  21. Why'd you leave out the 1 rage smash on anni tree, and the 10% HP heal on rage tree? Also why didn't you take the Imp cloak on carnage tree since it will basically be up almost all of the time so it will equal to 1 free rage every 1.5 seconds.
  22. It works. I've tested it with letting the DoTs tick from either rupture or DS and not using any of my rage builders, and it did give me rage.
  23. Derail a thread? I'm the one who posted the info about Deadly Saber and I'm the one who said why anni is better than rage. This raid is about marauder DPS right? Then I'm not derailing this thread, I'm merely explaining why anni is better than rage in PvE content. So let me say it again, we are talking about damage differences. We picked smash vs deadly saber and yes I'VE ALREADY SAID that smash hits for more. However, smash inflicts damage and triggers a 1.5 sec GCD while deadly saber DOES NOT. So the damage inflicted is greater DURING THAT 1.5 sec GCD. You are also arguing with no proof - all I see is theorycrafting based on false numbers. You've posted no screenshots nor any combat logs. Everything that you [or I] have said is without any backing due to the absence of combat logs, but yet you still try to defend your "concrete data". While I do not have a screenshot of it[since there is no combat log], my proof is that I take the numbers that I see from my marauder just as you take torhead's numbers. You really have no hard data whatsoever, merely fabrications that were based on misleading data, and I don't know why I just had to repeat myself, hopefully you read it this time. You have also failed to justify why talent points are wasted in blatant PvP talents that have no use in PvE : Strangulate, Unbreakable Rage, Relentless Fury, Interceptor and Undying.
  24. As was said before, you are doing calculations on incorrect data, therefore it is obsolete. The calculation that you've done so far is about my Smash hit. And based on that calculation, it is only a 3k DPS margin, but you did not take the OGCD characteristic of Deadly Saber into account. You keep asking for mathematical input but there is NO data to go on, as most of the damage is based off weapon damage and I don't know of anybody who has BiS gear to TRULY make DPS observations. And once again, torhead is not accurate. We are all guessing, including you, so don't ask for any "hard" data. However, do you truly believe that 5 GCD's is worth a 3k damage increase? [ Based on your data]. P.S. You claim we're ignoring you but you're actually ignoring us in failing to add in the extra characteristics of deadly saber in your formula. Do it over.
