  1. It's totally doable, but takes some practice. As always, if all else fails, bring a friend.
  2. I actually didn't have this issue when that part of the storyline came up, but from what I'm reading, I'm a minority.
  3. I stopped using a tank companion the moment Vector's dps skills became available. I simply found it easier to slap on some HOTs and interrupts while Vector (or, later, any other DPS companion) wailed away on the gold. Operatives apparently are pretty good on the PvP scene, but DPS isn't something they're good for in standard PvE play. I simply found it easier to level above the planet's suggestion so I could avoid crashing and burning at boss battles.
  4. Lol They not only break my stealth, but also my emergency getaway.
  5. As a medicine-speced operative, my dps damage is pretty awful, so I usually just sit back and shoot healing around. For the most part, it's enough to keep me busy, and I can throw in some interrupts/potshots when I can. I've never grouped with anyone who expects my healers to put out any sort of damage.
  6. I don't recall receiving any item by that name as a quest reward.
  7. And I thought it was just my mouse running low on batteries.
  8. As a level 50 operative, I haven't had any major problems with the healing. The lack of an "oh crap" option can be a little distressing, but is generally avoidable if you watch your energy. EDIT: Though, I don't PvP, so that might-probably-very likely make a pretty huge difference.
  9. Lol, I don't PvP, but operatives in PvE are squishy as hell. No pity.
  10. Near the end of chapter 2, a couple loose ends are tied up. Not all of them, but enough to make it linear.
  11. I'm a squishy, squishy operative healer, so I grabbed a friend.
  12. QFE I shouldn't have been so surprised, as there had been clues, but yeah.
  13. Totally with you here. With few exceptions, the headgear my Agent's companions use are beyond fugly. I'm at the point where I remove them unless I'm dealing with some sort of gold-star.
  14. I PvEd up to 50 as medicine, and found myself using gun attacks less and less. My knife did more damage than snipe-- though I usually had a dps companion out to wail on the bad guys while I *****ed them with kolto probes. I hadn't thought of this; I can probably reorganize my bars.
  15. I like to think so. After THE TWIST, I slowly turned logged out of the game and sat in a shadowed corner for a little while, wondering.
  16. THERE WAS WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH
  17. I'm not a PVPer, but operatives are pretty underpowered in PvE, so I don't feel bad for other classes at all.
  18. Neutral IA with a LS bent, wracked up a whole lot of dark side points with this quest. Keeping Kothe and his team alive didn't seem pragmatic at all, and I was bitter about the brainwashing thing. My Head!Baltar agreed.
  19. Fantastic list! I used the gift guide extensively on my first playthrough. A single caveat: Imperial Agent companion Vector's surname is Hyllus with a U-- as in the genus of spider. EDIT: And while I'm at it, Ensign Temple is received on Hoth, not Quesh.
