As a level 27 Jugg, Immoral spec, taking a break from a level 40 Operative, i'm nervously awaiting the point where I hit this brick wall in the late game. With all the complaints about bloated ability bars, DPS output and the like, it seems odd that the main element they tackled seems to be longer cooldowns getting shortened, but not to a point where they could be used twice in the same fight. I hope that these issues get sorted out before I reach the 40s. I'm not wanting a walk in the park, but a fair challenge would be nice, one to the same difficulty as any other class. In PvE, which is what I prefer, BHs seem to have it easier.

Seriously, without screenshots or some kind of evidence, a hundred people are just going to enter the thread and tell their own little stories that contradict yours.

The journey to level fifty is much like the journey through life. Don't complain about your life being unfair, even if it is being ruined by poverty or corrupt powers. We all end up dead anyway, so all you should be complaining about is the fairness of death. All these protest groups about life being unfair for young people, who are burdened by student loans and other financial debt, are entirely meaningless because all of these people are going to die. You can apply this same logic to people complaining about unfairness before 50 and I think it works really, really well.

I'm a level 40 Imperial Agent/Operative and i've just completed Hoth's quests. I went to Hoth at level 37 and it took me to level 39. A few Warzones later and then I was 40. My next class quest requirement is, I think, level 42 and the planet's level guide is 41+. Apparently, there's a level 37 bonus series that unlocks somewhere, although i've no idea why the game expected me to know that. Can someone tell me where to pick that up? Also, can someone tell me whether i'll be facing similiar scenarios of being in limbo between content, or is this a one off? If the answer's yes, can someone outline the bonus series that unlock between 40 and 50, so that I don't get stuck for quests at my level?

No, I only use the other because it's more melee-orientated. Headshot must be for snipers.

I'm level 39, about to hit 40, and still on Hoth. I'm still with Kaliyo and she's well geared, as am I. The gear I use is all within two levels of my current and is mostly blue, with some modded and purple gear as well. I'm concealment spec'd and Kaliyo is acting as and geared for tank. Despite all of this, whenever i'm in a boss fight with any gold elite, around my level or a little higher, i'm almost exclusively having to play healer and only able to use the occational backstab and stun with corrosive dart, but i'm otherwise using Shiv to rack up tactical advantage points for the purpose of the T.A heal for my companion. It just isn't fun having to be a babysitter and spam healer just to try and keep my companion alive. Some bosses are really tough, even when I am hitting Kaliyo with regular heals and often rallying damage up on bosses at my level. Is soloing elites and bosses just not a strong point for the operative? Dealing with mobs is immensely fun and I can often deal with four or five person mobs without suffering a scratch just because of the way I manage stun abilities and the melee attacks, so i'm wondering whether ineffectiveness in boss battles is our compromise.
