  1. So, people argue that "casual" suggestions are too casual. Hilarious. Me, I would LOVE the ability to spacebar through combat. It's the most boring part of the game.
  2. It's Star Wars. No other game lets me play a Jedi. That's why I hope Bioware keeps the game as it is, so I can be a Jedi with my companions.
  3. That is your opinion. It should not be confused with fact.
  4. According to George Lucas, Jedi Master Ki-Adi Mundi had five wives. Why are we limited to monogamy?
  5. I don't consider anyone who does not get PAID to play the game to be a "pro player." Words mean things.
  6. If you're a Jedi who's just finished Tython, you're around level 10 to 12. In the cantina at the Jedi Temple is a vendor who sells body armor. That's your best bet. Furthermore, you're fussing about something that just isn't a problem. The gear you get through questing is more than adequate at this point in the game.
  7. When will male Jedi Knights get a romanceable companion who isn't a former student?
  8. Har. My country is the USA, and I can assure you I have no "right" to know what a company does with the money I pay for a product. Publicly traded companies are required to provide certain information to the public record, but it has nothing to do with being a customer. Cite these laws.
  9. Um... once again, NO. If you're not satisfied with the service you have the right to not pay again to get that service again. You MAY ** ask ** for a refund, but you do not have a right to a refund. Where are you getting the idea that you have some "right to know" what Bioware does with your money? Where in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights or the Federal Reserve Act or anywhere else does it say that? What color is the sky on your planet?
  10. Um...NO. Just, simply, no. You pay $15, Bioware gives you a month of valid logon access to the game. That's it. Period. End of sentence. I have no idea where you get your cockamamie ideas of how commerce works from, but your notion is so incredibly out to lunch that the light from rationality will not reach it for two billion years. Buying a hamburger at McDonald's gives you no right to "know where your 99 cents went." It gives you the right to eat a hamburger.
  11. Ding! Winner. Okay, we're done here. Somebody get me a beer.
  12. http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/costume.php?mode=view&c=217 C'est moi.
  13. I find cabbage and beans make a wonderful BM generator. ....what?
  14. I neither know nor care; I haven't grouped with anybody other than my wife since I started playing this game, nor am I likely to. I am a casual player in the "This is as close to KOTOR3 as I'm going to get" camp.
  15. Your "topic of world breaking importance" is somebody else's "irrelevancy." I don't really give a Hutt's kidneys about "class balance" as long as all the classes are fun to play. I don't PVP, never have, never will, hate it with the blazing heat of ten thousand suns. And I bet most gamers are casual players just like me.
  16. The X-wing books were utter garbage. I'm glad SWTOR is nothing at all like them. The books were video game ****, they didn't even come from the movies.
  17. Good. I like the fact that this game is aimed at casual players like me. I think that the casual market is frankly far larger than the self-proclaimed hardcore market. Bioware does too, and I hope they're right.
  18. After reading the OP, the ghosts of both Karl Marx and Adam Smith are drinking heavily.
  19. And I was part of Gary Gygax' original group, and you can find my name in the 'Greyhawk' pamphlet, and in the 1st Ed PHB. (my sig includes my last name, look it up) I've never told anybody "your roleplaying is unacceptable," but I have told people they were being jerks and making the game less fun for other people and that they would either have to change their behavior or leave.
  20. This. It's KOTOR3 that I can play with my wife.
  21. Boo. Also, hoo. If you don't like the game, don't play. Meanwhile those of us who DO like the game will have even MORE fun once we no longer have to listen to the bellyachers.
