I hope South park makes a TORtanic episode. The episode. DEV "Some want a lfg tool, and new characters, more raids, arena's, and server mergers quickly" but what we believe they really want is something much much greater. How about we gave them a sickness that makes them not want to take their characters around other players? DEV2 " yes yes your on to something here, if your player is around around player lets have them start throwing up" DEV1 " I believe this will get rid of the last of the players and discourage whats left of the casual fan base... Sir I believe this is what our players need and want to finally be able to give up and quit. A player event that encourages characters not to be around each other, my god its brilliant!. DEVLead " Dev 1, get every man woman and child you can muster on this, I just looked at the servers and I see some are still showing as medium populations"

Bottom Line, The WOW LFG Tool has been so bad and has ruined the game so much that they released a Looking for Raid utility. ... ........... ..................... ... um ok. I am done, im canceling right now and yes you can have my stuff, dont leave your name I already know who you are, I only see the same 3 players on the fleet each night.

Even on a populated server it takes forever to find groups, I have played WOW and used the LFG almost weekly to fill in the empty spots of my groups with my friends. Actually keep the LFG tool out of the game and watch the number of casual subscribers continue to fall, the few that still play the game will enjoy the better "free month offers" and come back please offers. Good idea! This type of stance just continues to bring the game one step closer to free for everyone.

The failure of the community and the devs to even acknowledge that WOW has some great features that could be used in SWTOR shows not only the arrogance of the community but also shows how little they care if you play the game or not. Can you imagine walking into any other business and responding to suggestions like this community has? -Hey Walmart id like to suggest you guys open at mightnight the day after thanksgiving like best buy, it really works out well for me and would be completely optional for the people who perfer to come in at 5am... -Screw yourself, if you want a feature like that go shop at best buy then, this isnt best buy!. Just trying to put in perspective how arrogrant this communtiy is, please dont ever complain about empty servers if your unwilling to see optional features put into the game to assist people with limited time. The servers are empty largely because the die hard star wars fans didnt want "WOWers" playing "their" game. Well most of the wow people are gone back to their "easy" game and now your left with 40 or so near empty serers. enjoy, the truth hurts a bit but at least i was willing to say it instead of pretending.

Honest.... I just canceled not a single one of the people i know is playing it as of last week, they are just and I quote "bored and tired of wasting time standing around".. Good luck.

I tried google and all I got was various forums and results of information of people hating any idea of such a tool. I hate to say it but the community here isn't very friendly towards returning players or suggestions on features that help the casual player. So I thought I would ask instead of reading someone elses post about it.

I played my sniper this morning before the family got up and the missions were enjoyable event ho my character seemed to do alot less damage. I was even thinking about getting one of thoe 570 graphics cards for the game and resubscribing on the 24th. Does anyone know the answer to the following as asking them in other sections of the forums only gets me the "go play wow response" - Is there a LFG Tool being worked on? (I have only done one instance because I have limited play time and sitting at the fleet spamming lfg for an hour is not something I will ever do much less pay to do) -I only play one character my sniper what does Legacy do for me? I understand it was a big update but did it just unlock different characters? It matters not, this game is on the robes and it will continue to take blows until it falls. The first one being with the release of D3, the next will be guild wars , and last will be the panda release which swtor did nothing but laugh at. The real laugh is that people will actually play a damn panda before they would consider returning to this game and its elitist we dont want no add-ons or LFG tool community. notice how all the people who think the game is "good" are on the forums not actually playing it. They are hoping for a Dev to say "the populations are good!, we are merging servers"... silence.. sweet sweet silence.. as more and more quit. All three of these will release and even then you still wont have 1.3.....

Yes, its not dying your right! They have about 40 servers to many is all.

Look at the screenshot on this website, its SWTOR will all servers full with a Q. The only thing thats dying is SWTOR and Joystiq's article because its obviously dated.

People like Fatman because its one of the few servers with players. I just rolled a newb on fatman so I have someone to play with.

I think you got it reverse WoW is a major grind until recently with the exp reduce for 1-60 and more to 60-85. Before leveling up was a pain. SWTOR leveling is fast and quick. - In wow you can also level via dungeon tool your not forced to replay the same areas over and over again. You can level fast in SWTOR via dungeons but standing in the fleet spamming LFG really kills your xp.

Will be remember as the 200 dollar MMO that encouraged solo play and lost 70% of its subscriber base before month 5.

I just canceled, no reason just boredom from lack of anyone else I know still having a subscription. And even when we did play the game together we didnt actually do anything together. The game encourages you to play solo. I am not running around an MMO anymore wasting hours trying to find a healer exc exc.
