You do realize that everything you listed was in MMO's long before "that other game" had them, right? They are MMO standards now, not cloned, copied or lifted from any one game.

I assume you mean 'who says they are playing the game?'... If they aren't playing TOR it's even more strange that they would be posting in the forums. I don't know anyone personally who posts in the forums of games they don't play. the only reason I can think of to do that is trolling.

And you think SWG was polished in comparison when it launched? I was in SWG beta, and played for a few years and I can tell you now this game has far more polish than SWG ever even ended up with.

Crafting is nice, and you get some great items from it. A lot of people like the rail shooter, you may think it's garbage, but others don't. They are already creating a new Space Combat system anyway. Ability lag is a pain, but is being worked on. Most pvpers I know don't get 'pvp lag'. I know I don't.

The engine isn't crap. I don't get any FPS lag in pvp at all, nor does anyone I know of in our guild. If it was the engine, everyone would have the same issue.

If you don't care to play with other people, sure. Skyrim would be an amazing game is you could remove hacks, exploits and add in multi-player. But that isn't going to happen.

Why do people like you continue to play the game and post in the forums? I honestly don't get it.

You aren't the only one. But you are in the minority. It is more than 10% of what SWG had. Easily. And I liked SWG. SWG didn't have Space travel or combat at launch. Even when it was added it wasn't that great. Player cities got cluttered, blocked quest access and turned into ghost-towns. This isn't a SandBox, 'fully open worlds' are not needed. Nor did most people explore them in SWG. People seem to look back on SWG through rose-coloured glasses. It was not nearly as great as people try and make it out to be. If TOR and SWG both launched today, I'd take TOR in a heartbeat. SWG was fun, but it was never a 'great' game.

LOL! What should be a crime is posts like this. If you don't like a game, don't play it. There are a ton of MMO's I don't like out there. I can guarantee right now that I have never once posted in the forums of those games to complain how bad they are. Games are never fun or great for every player. Go find a game you like and move on. Why even post here? Are you trying to find people who agree with you? Start flame wars? Or talk people into leaving the game with you? It's not going to happen.

If an error doesn't happen the same to the majority or all of the users, odds are the problem is on the users PC and not in the software or the server... Simple as that. That's why you post stuff like this on the forum, to see. If you you make a dinner for 100 people and 2 of them get sick, odds are they didn't get sick because of the food, but had an underlying illness that came to the surface when they ate. Right?

Maybe. I'm sure it happens depending on what build of PC you have. Right now I'm not top of the line, but it runs perfectly for me. i3-2100 ASUS P8Z68/GEN3 16gb DDR3 1600 EVGA 560 Ti Win-7 64bit Running everything Max + AA at 8x and get 50-100 FPS just about everywhere in the game.

I run everything at max levels. I even enabled my AA to 8x...

I Alt-Tab in and out of my game dozens of times an hour and never see the issues you are talking about.

Of course they are working on both. But adding content takes longer and requires more testing then bug fixes.

Every ability that uses the weapons calculates damage with it. You don't need auto-attack to need weapon damage.

Odds are I know a lot more about it then you do. Just for the record, WoW did NOT launch with any real end-game raid content. So if you can prove anyone was sponsored to do something that didn't even exist two months after WoW launched, I dare you to post it here. Prove me wrong rather then acting like you know better. P.S.
