  1. I'd appreciate this service offered before Makeb. Seriously, this needs to get done
  2. I'd love the see the Mandalorian outfits from KOTOR (just don't charge 1200 coins for them!) and I'd also like to see the armor that the Militia people wear on Tatooine.
  3. also, Vanguards using a pistol wouldn't make sense because I'm not sure where a lot of their abilities would come from.
  4. I could find Pvp'ers not liking the idea because it'd be difficult to tell which class you're playing until you actually start fighting. You wouldn't be able to prepare as well. But I still think it's an interesting idea.
  5. Please bring character transfers before. Don't wait till the update. Sweet, thank you.
  6. I'd love for you to point me in the direction of those posts.
  7. I tried Ebon Hawk. Wonderful community!
  8. Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge supporter of this game, and I genuinely want this game to succeed. This isn't supposed to be a complaining post, though some of it is fueled by frustration. At least one post a day is on the question of when or if we are going to be able to transfer our characters. The game is closing in on its one year anniversary. This brings up two points. 1. The game has gone through a lot of changes within the player base. Some have left, others have joined. It's time to refresh the game by letting people move to other servers and create new communities like they did at launch. Players who have rolled on PVE servers may have decided through playing for a year that a PVP server may accommodate their needs more, and vice versa. For me personally, I'm a heavy PvPer, but after rolling a character to level 20 on an RP server, I found that the player base is much more inviting and I enjoy seeing people role play as it gives the game an Immersive feel, something that I miss with the pessimistic and egoistic view of the average player on my server. 2. The game is a year old. This is a function that MMOs typically launch with. Not only that, people have been asking for this for a year, or at least a legitimate response from an employee, rather than "It's coming soon!" Well how long is soon? We've been hearing "soon" for a year now, and to be honest it's irritating. If there's something that needs to be put in place before character transfers, then say it! I think the player base would love to know that there's a reason for the delay in character transfers. I don't think any post has lasted this long and been this redundant without a legitimate reply (except for sit-able chairs or chat bubbles) If there's any information that an employee could gives us, I'd really appreciate it (as would many others).
  9. ok, yep. It's ready now, make sure to wear an oven mitten!
  10. I'd be guessing a Sage would be best for absolute solo because... they're mitigation is great because of their ammo abundance Theoretically speaking, you could dot a few people while you heal yourself and then just repeat the dot/heal process. It'll just take a few years to kill anything though. But it sounds like it would work.
  11. I didn't have time to read all of your posts, but it looks like you are all Pve'ers. Pve'ers, from my perspective, are much more optimistic than PvP'ers. By me posting this, I'm speaking from the perspective of PvP'er. Ever since the beginning of Mmo's from what I've heard and seen, Pvp'ers have been complete relentless jerks. Either way, I feel like I have a valid opinion about the state of SWTOR. The heart of my post was based upon the fact that two lead members of Bioware quit because of the amount of ranting and pessimism stemming from the player base. I thought I'd give an appreciation for this game. Absolutely, this game still needs work. Paid transfers is a start for me.
  12. This game receives a lot of negativity, some undeserved, some possibly deserved, but the reason it does is because people enjoy their experiences with it. I'm a level 50 gear'd in full WH. In other words, I'm at "end game," the time when people start to begin their endless ranting. However, every time I log on, I have a blast. The only times I don't find myself with any sort of excitement is when the players are ruining the experience. After a friend of mine and I went to Tatooine for a change of scenery, I started appreciating the massive planets and the unique level designs. Yes, sometimes it's a bit off putting when you notice buildings are all of the same 10 structures, NPC's all look the same, etc. but other MMO's are the same way. I grew a love for the design when I started hopping from building to building noticing things that I hadn't before. Really, the planets are incredible. I could also go on about how the combat is really slick, fast paced, etc, but for the sake of time I have before my next queue pop, I thought I'd just say that I really love this game, and I hope the developers continue to realize that there are people who have a real admiration for this game. The one's who complain are just the fat grumpy people who call people names like "Noob" or "Baddie." However, if I could throw in a quick tip, bring paid transfers! We aren't able to utilize our legacy's (which includes having a character on both factions for the HK-51 companion quests that are coming soon) because we have characters spread out through multiple server.
  13. I will give this game a 9 as soon as Paid Transfers come.
