My advice to the OP: play whatever you want regardless of whether its been nerfed or not. Eventually things even out. Someone who plays 1 class through thick and thin will be a more skilled player than another who keeps rerolling.

I disagree with the OP. Whereas pre 1.2 I'd quit a losing WZ as only wins benefited me, I now stay until the bitter end and maximise my badges. 8 badges and a lose is still 85-100 comms.

Not excited about any upcoming games tbh. Kinda getting to the point where I am considering retiring from gaming

I can't comment on other tank classes, but I can say I have no issues with the soft enrage on FC. I use shield for the first, then oil slick and On The Trail to help healers on the second. My gear is similar to yours. Maybe its a healer issue, ie they're not popping cd's to help heal you thru the enrage?

Its some blurb about "the conflict is escalating and you're hanging around Vaiken Spacedock taking missions only some can afford" or something. I could take a screeny tonight if you like. I completed on full DS on my Merc and full LS on my PT with no issues. I can appreciate how annoying this could be for you who cannot complete it.

I am all for a stun mechanic to be added, the knockback removed. I also feel we should be able to target the AOE closer to us. I feel they didn't change the min distance when they reduced the size, so I (a PT ST) can't target mobs in melee range to me any more, which really screws up aoe tanking in some scenarios.

Happened to me too, except I failed more than usual then realised it was because I was in PvE gear. Switched to PvP gear and still failed. I fail. I'm really disillusioned with PvP since 1.2. I rerolled from Merc to PT, so have Recruit gear, and no idea what spec to play. Considering trying the Mav spec, but then I need to either repurchase dps gear (I got the Supercommando set) or grind grind grind for the BM dps gear. Meh >.<

DFA used to be 8m, now its 5. The dmg is still the same afaik, but now ticks twice as fast for half as much, resulting in the same amount of dmg in a perfect scenario. So, DFA was shrunk to be the same size as other BH AOE's. What other AOE's? O.o

I disagree. I am a mediocre PT/ST and I still do crappy damage and lose most of my solo queued matches. Or did you forget to specify Pyro PT in that paragraph?

Not criticising this, as in theory its a good idea, but what happens if you are in a PvE or PvP fight when this queue pops and the UI is disabled? What about if you are not in combat but you are fleeing from a higher level enemy player who is chasing you to your instance? Disabling zoning means you can't escape in that scenario.

Its better to have crappy Blue gear than crappy PvE gear

I have 2 lvl 50 BH's, 1 of each AC. I am ST on the PT for PvE Ops, and used to play the Merc as BG in PvP before I gave up with PvP. The Merc is Valor Rank 55 I think.

I have both Merc and PT at 50. I levelled Merc as Arsenal then switched to healing. I levelled the PT as Pyro then switched to CP/ST as required. Hands down PT was the easy favourite for me. I can't stand Pyro on Merc, but love it on PT. PT Pyro uses 2 instants to reset Rail Shot, which is your bread and butter. Merc Pyro uses 2 casts (1 can be interrupted on purpose) to reset Rail Shot. Also Rocket Punch and Flame Burst tend to reset Rail Shot often, compared to Mercs Unload/Power Shot resetting Rail Shot seldom (imo). As you can see PT pyro is more powerful due to this. I really hope they don't bring PT Pyro in line with Merc Pyro, I hope its the other way around.

You just described the Recount addon for WoW. Thats how it works, by communicating via discreet chat channels the information gleaned from each players' combat. I am hoping the log will be realtime saved to the file, which means it should be easy enough to write an external app that will display details such as dps, hps etc reltime in a separate window. I use a second screen so this would be perfect for me.

QFT. I'm not hardcore, but also I'm not a noob. I care about my dps, my performance. I don't care about others' performance or bragging rights (which comes with good performance). Sure I care about knowing who the weak link is in an Ops. There are three options: 1) No logs (current) 2) Self only logs (which they are implementing) 3) Global logs (which a lot of us don't like the idea of) If you don't want 1) or 3), 2) is the only option for you as you can just ignore your own logs.

These personal logs, are they ingame already or Coming Soon ?
