  1. So here's some back story: due to some scheduling conflicts we've lost three members of our group, sadly. So we're hoping that we can find some solid, smart, hardcore progression raiders for our group. Ideally we would like ranged DPS and a commando healer. Gearing you out will not be an issue at all! All we require is that you are smart and willing to learn if you do not already know the new HM fights. You can contact either myself (Kalenaa) or Gatz in game in order to talk to you and figure out scheduling details! Currently our set raid days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday's at 8:00 PM EST. Without tooting our own horns we're good. We've been raiding for a good while and we have experience with every operation, every class, and every spec. If you do not know something we would be more than happy to explain it to you! Don't be shy! Contact us in game! If neither of us are available we may be on alts so just send us an in game mail!

  3. D: PROXEY! Most of us have kind of all left. As of right now, I'm taking a break from the game seeing as there's...nothing to do. Tide is still around but playing Imp side right now.

  5. Same thing happens to me as well. I've had SWTOR eat up to over 6 gigs of RAM over the course of 6 hours...
  6. Has anyone seen or heard anything from Ciah (crafter for the Hazmat Pummeler's Mk-3 Implant)? Would really like to get my hands on about a dozen of these.
  7. The issue with Dreadtooth at 5 stacks is that you need to have all Sage healers. The reason for this is because he throws an uncleansable DoT on the DPS that almost requires you to have Salvations thrown down to soak it up. A 24 man group cannot do this alone. A second group full of heavy range DPS and more Sages is required to sit back while the primary group kills it. I've only ever seen one guild try it. They got him down to 10% before they wiped.
  8. Our group setup is 2 Shadow tanks, Scoundrel healer, Sage healer, Vanguard, Sentinel, Commando and Sage. We have the Vanguard and the Sentinel grab the warriors and pull them to the side while the tanks, healers and 2 Range DPS sit in the middle and kill the Trenchcutters. The only issue we have with this is that it is extremely heal intensive for the healers. The Vanguard and Sentinel are always taking large amounts of damage. A good way to get around this is by having the 2 Range kill the warriors with the Melee while the tanks hit the Trenchcutters. Guarding the Range DPS is a must because they'll draw threat from the Trenchcutter which hit them for ~5k a tick. It's an easy strat, but you have to have good healers for it.

The only theory that I know of is that In 16 man Nightmare there is a bonus boss in the cave which requires all raid members to equip their Dread Guard Helm (the one that drops from Dreadtooh), as it protects them from "Dread Touch." The mask should work just like the Gormak Crystals work for Nightmare Pilgrim protecting you against Mental Assault. The cave is not currently large enough to fit any kind of boss, which only leaves room for speculation that it is a Nightmare only mechanic and therefore not currently implemented.
  10. Not sure if this has been discussed before but it would seem that a good many chest pieces in the game have their hue, and sometimes color, determined by your skin tone. The Investigator's robe, the 1200 CC one, is a light pink color on me, on a good friend on mine, it's pure black. On another person I saw it as a deep red. Same goes for many other tops in the game, but this one in particular bothers me. Anyone else having an issue similar to this?
  11. Like...you're seriously complaining about the range? I still get top damage in every single warzone and every raid group I'm in. Wanna know how? I use the same five abilities as I did before lol. I never played it as a range class because it isn't one.
  12. The funny part is that it's not qq. On my Powertech I outdamage every person in our Ops group for raids as well as get consistent top damage. The abilities I use you ask? Flame Burst, Rail Shot, Rocket Punch. That's it. There's seriously no point in using any other abilities because they generate too much heat when I'm spamming Flame Burst . There's literally no reason to play anything other than Pyrotech (Assault), unless of course you're a tank.
  13. Last week we had to cancel our EC raid because the instance was so laggy that we literally could not do anything. Since then I haven't been able to play one Huttball because it's been full of nothing but stop and go lag. Abilities take 4 seconds to even register as having been activated. Same with every other warzone I've played. It's not my internet connection and it's not my computer because everyone on the server experiences it. Please fix your game. I love this game and I really enjoy playing, but I can't play if it's full of nothing but lag.

  16. We're all going to Prophecy of the Five? ***? Anyone else feel like leftovers? No one wants us so just dump us all into one trash can.
  17. Does this mean that some "origin" servers will also be "destination" servers? Or are completely new servers being opened in order to accommodate the character transfers?
  18. Can it really be that difficult to copy/paste characters? Hell I would even change my name/legacy name to transfer. I can't honestly go another day logging on to being alone in the fleet.
  19. I'm currently...sitting on top of the PvP quest terminal talking to myself in general chat. I'm really hoping that transfers are either next week or the following, else I can't see any point in playing. I've got 5 50's, I'm not about to start all over again.
  20. So we've been attempting to down 8 man HM Kephess. We can one shot every boss in the instance except this guy. We have an admittedly Consular heavy group, consisting of usually 2 Shadow tanks, 1 Sage healer, 1 Sage DPS, 1 Scoundrel healer, 1 Commando DPS, 1 Shadow DPS, and a Gunslinger. So, we're encountering a few things I thought I'd ask you guys about, perhaps you're having the same issues. For starters, when the shielded adds spawn, it seems as though we take too much time on them (and with 3 melee, the AoE isn't exactly happening ) as the next group spawns fairly quickly. On Story Mode, once we down the first group, we're literally waiting 10 seconds for the next ones to spawn in. DPS problem do you think? Secondly, after the Pulsar Droids are downed and the boss comes out, we have one tank pick him up and move him away from the group. He casts that 3 second DoT on the tank periodically and we haven't been switching once that comes up, not sure if we should be. The healers can usually heal over it but the tanks are still getting hit for around 10k even with defensive CD's up. We don't really have any problems until we actually begin to DPS Kephess. We can kill the adds/Pulsar Droids/Battlewalker very easily, DPS is not lacking. But the tanking really seems to be an issue. I am one of the tanks and it gets very....grueling constantly taking such large hits. We're getting hit for anywhere from 5-20k damage. We swap after "Gift of the Masters", then do the usual swap while he's casting "Breath of the Masters" as you should. But the tanks are still tanking monstrous amounts of damage. So, to be clear, I'm not certain that this should be happening or perhaps we're not swapping at the correct times. Also, this could just come down to a composition problem. We're all in either full Rakata gear or half Campaign gear, so I doubt it's a gear check situation, but again, anything is a possibility. Any help you guys could offer would be greatly appreciated!
  21. Not sure if this is intended or if this is a bug. The Campaign gear, as we've been working towards it, is almost not even worth it. Going from full Rakata Survivor's gear to Campaign Survivor's is a HUGE loss to Endurance and defense rating. Weaponmaster gear has more endurance than War Leader (or it's Campaign name variant), Force Master is an insane amount of needless alacrity (as if anyone actually uses Telekinetics). To be honest, I don't even want to roll for the Campaign gear that drops in our Guild Operation runs, it's not worth it. There's too much of a sacrifice to vital stats. Not to mention the fact that the colors don't even display as their icons show (Dark Brown displays as tan, someone stated it may be based on skin tone).
  22. That would explain why someone with a darker skin tone who had the same war hero top as me had their top white...kind of dumb....
  23. Am I the only one who has noticed and filed tickets that the Black Hole Consular chest pieces are displayed as the wrong color? On login my Shadow is shown with a dark brown top on, when I log in and play, it's light tan, almost white. Same with my Sage...
  24. Hmm, see I have 400 Biochem and I use my Rakata adrenals, etc... Not such a huge difference as you say. Thanks for telling me how to play though, considering I apparently didn't . Do you play a Sage? Do you pug? Ok then...
  25. If **** isn't going down in your warzone, you're probably doing it wrong and should just leave.
