  1. I rarely if ever use disturbance, you're not required to use it simply because you're specced into it. The reason I'm specced that way is to get the benefit of telekinetic momentum, giving my telekinetic wave a 30% chance to hit again or 30% damage, which is nice to have in PvP which is what I normally only do. I only use telekinetic throw and telekinetic wave along with force in balance. Again, just because a spec seems to favor it does not require you to use it. In fact I've had times where my telekinetic wave was on CD when my PoM proc came back and I used disturbance instead...
  2. Agreed. I can live with slows, minor snares, etc...but the excessive stuns are incredibly dumb. I've come to the conclusion that half the players who kill others only do so because one was stunned and they were not. This is most frustrating in Huttball when you get the ball, literally the moment you get it, your cursor is over the CC release key (at least mine is ).
  3. Anyone slightly annoyed with the lack of crit/surge on the Force Mystic gear? Don't quote me but I don't think the Force Master has much either. Force Mystic is HEAVY alacrity to the point of annoyance. No one I know uses deliverance without the proc from rejuvenate, the cast time is simply too long, even with alacrity. Thoughts?
  4. I generally used Nadia when I was heal specced. Had her in all Tionese Stalker with some Columi. She can keep herself up generally well and you can keep both of yourselves up with Salvation/Rejuvenate and still DPS mobs.
  5. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600ZfsbRzRMhZcrcosMz.1 This is the build I use for PvE with only minor changes for PvP. Telekinetic throw gives you the presence of mind proc which allows for an instant cast telekinetic wave. Zero activation times, no waiting around. You just go. Guaranteed highest DPS from this build. Telekinetics is too heavily reliant on cast times, so much so that there's a skill that increases alacrity. Be mindful of the AoE from the telekinetic wave if one of your members has something sapped or CC'ed. Hope this helps!
  6. I hope you realize that A) The people who "spam" lightning are using force lightning to get a proc, of which there is a 30% chance, B) This proc allows for an instant cast force ability, C) If you're not "spamming" it, you won't get the proc, if you don't get the proc, you're not playing your class right. I don't know how many damn times it's been posted on these forums, I don't know how many damn times it needs to be posted but INTERRUPTS ARE YOUR FRIEND. Stop letting the range DPS just sit up high and rain hell upon you. Get up to them, knock them off their comfy spot, and interrupt the hell out of them. Chain stun and slow them just like they do to you. Remember that without static barrier/force armor up, Sage/Sorc is one of the weakest classes, even more so if specced for DPS.
  7. Lemme get this straight, you wanted, once you hit battlemaster, to get ALL the gear possible? They want you to PvP to get it, not just do one wz and get all your commendations. Yeah it's very grindy, but that's how the system works. If they just gave it to you what fun would that be?
  8. ^this, also there's no "n" in Columi.

    Told to leave

Oh yeah, I forgot that EVERY SINGLE player in this game was amazing. In the games that I wore no gear, the enemies were not especially coordinated and were, for the most part, tank specced, nothing to worry about.
  10. I actually use my PvE +355 to power relic in PvP, for both healing and damage (main spec). I'm one of the rare people you'll find who doesn't believe in stacking expertise over a large amount of your main stat. I know, people think I'm insane, but whatever, it works for me and that's all that matters.

Does it matter either way? I've walked into several level 50 bracket warzones without ANY gear but my lightsaber and walked away with top damage. Gear doesn't make the player, and it never will. The reliance on gear in this game I find quite puzzling and humorous. If you have full Battlemaster gear, you aren't automatically made better than every other player.

    Told to leave

2 of my friends queued as level 12 Bounty Hunters without advanced classes and in the gear they left Hutta with. When the warzone was over they had highest damage out of everyone in the warzone and won. When they zoned in in the beginning, people sighed, made funny remarks, and told them to leave so that they could win...Never listen to people who think they are better than you, in most cases, they aren't.
  13. I don't know about you but I've got 2 level 50 Republic characters, and one level 43 Imperial character. My Republic character, my first/main character is fully geared in Rakata/Champion gear, there's no way in hell I'll ever not play it or just leave it there. I worked to get all that stuff and I'll be damned if I never use it.
  14. They aren't though. Sure one or two people are changing sides but who cares? Most of the people who I know play Republic because they like being the underdog. They want it to stay that way. I highly doubt that eventually there will be only 30 Republic players left. People will always play it. In fact, some Empire players I know have rerolled to join us on Republic side because it's much less crowded, and our fleet doesn't lag them out every time they zone in lol.
  15. Let's change this to "I have once crit for 5800 in warzones." I highly doubt that every crit you get is over 5k...especially with the surge change. To the OP: I have only once received the 5k heal medal from wearing my rakata set in PvP lol. I gain about 400 willpower more than what my champion stuff is.
  16. While I agree in part, a good majority of the people I know are leaving/have left while waiting for 1.2
  17. I don't think he meant YOU actually being naked
  18. YES I love this and I will be doing this!
  19. Yes we know there is a faction imbalance, get over it. BioWare can't make people play certain factions...what kind of game would that be that you're forced to play one faction because the designers tell you to?
  20. Personally I like targeting the person who's 40 meters behind me even though I'm not looking in that direction @_@
  21. They can't heal if they're running, chase after them.
  22. But someone critting me for 4.5k with a knife isn't too much damage? A sniper putting poison on me so I take 30% more damage isn't, too much damage? Sage DPS is a particular kind of build. It is reliant on ONE and only ONE skill, telekinetic throw/force lightning. Use it to get the Presence of Mind/Wrath proc for an instant cast chain lightning/telekinetic wave, crushing darkness/mind crush. The problem is not the damage, the problem is that people are stupid and let range players just sit there and use their abilities. Thus why I tend to get highest damage from my sage build, no one targets me. Sage DPS, like any other sage build relies on force armor/static barrier to keep you alive. Once that goes down, you're like a sheet of glass. Big damage, low survivability. Give and take relationship.
  23. I was doing dailies on Belsavis with another friend and we noticed a Sith group trying to take down the world boss so we went in and killed their healers (just the two of us) and the rest wiped from the boss. We did it about 4 times until we got bored lol.
  24. Never have I ever seen this while a fight is going on. If the Empire team gave up and was just sitting on one side all together, who cares? Honestly if there were an actual fight going on and someone was doing that while holding a point solo, they'd probably get jumped by a smart operative.
