As someone that recently returned to play with a friend, the 12X's is what kept me around for the last 2 weeks. I leveled a sorc and an agent which I wouldn't have done otherwise. Since I don't have early access (which I knew I didn't qualify for) I started a BH yesterday and it's painfully slow. The side quests are annoying and most take you completely out of your way of the class story's that I have been used to. I could easily get to 12 or 13 just doing class missions on starting planet, now I'm only 16 and almost done with DK and all it's planetary quests. I'm thinking they reverted it so that you opt to buy a 60 but I don't think they realize that a lot of us that came back were just looking at an opportunity to see the other class story arcs, buying a 60 takes that away so I'll probably quit over the week since I can't even play with the guy who invited me. I could wait until next week and then make a 60 but then I lose out on all the story arcs up until that point which defeats the purpose of the game, at least to me. The point is, if end game is the goal, then the 12x's exp didn't hurt anyone and only helped those that were looking for something to do or experience a story that haven't seen yet. At the least they could have waited until actual release to turn it off. Just my opinion.

I had the same thing, sold off inventory and then went through companions and was like...oh dear, did I miss a ship party?

Funny thing is I have access to the new planets, but can't level past 55 still lol. Are the storylines the only thing blocked by early access?

Ya, I think you're right. Trying to catch up on the changes has been rough. I don't mind waiting a week and if I get bored, I'll just pay the 20 bucks. Still have two more characters to get to 55. Thanks for the info!

Just came back a week ago and trying to catch up. SoR(Forge Alliances) became available today to me as a subscriber but still can't level past 55. Just wondering if the intent was to open SoR but still require you to buy it if you want to level past 55?

I just came back last week to play with a friend, subscribed but haven't bought any of the new expansions yet. I have been just leveling my characters to 55 with the bonus thingy and enjoying it. I noticed the Raven expansion wasn't unlocked but since it was Saturday, I figured I'd wait until today. I now have access to the Raven starting line but still can't level past 55, was just wondering if this was intended and if I purchase the new expansion, will I be able to level now or wait for early access to end? Thanks

If your getting through phase 2 that many times, no reason you shouldn't be killing it. GL on your next attempts!

And i didn't mean "bark" as in yell, military guy here, so any instance of issuing guidance = barking orders. Of course, this really only applies during the learning phase, once you have encounters on farm and what to do becomes 2nd nature., VC becomes a tool to socialize and shoot the breeze while pressing buttons and getting loot. As far as someone with a disability, pff, if the boss dies and I don't ever have to type your name because you are standing in stuff, it's ok with me. But I do recommend having a short name that's easy to type

And I am ok with that, if it hurts your feelings to be called stupid for standing in the same fire after 15 attempts, you wouldn't make it in my guild anyway.

I hear you but unfortunately, a majority of today's playerbase is not skilled enough to play without it. Back in the EQ days, you didn't use VC and you required groups to get anything done. This forced people to be good or quit. Not the case anymore, I couldn't imagine leading a raid without being able to basically bark commands while stuff is happening so people don't die. "YYY Move out of purple crap" "XXX watchout for that lightening ball" "Dumb***** heal the tank!" "Combat rez $$hitbird" Ideally, I would love to be able to have a guild full of people that require no direction to be successful but I don't have time to look for them and the server pops aren't large enough to have a raid of them. VC makes it almost bearable. EDIT: NTM even in EQ 10 years ago you could make macros to bark raid orders, don't even have that luxury in SWTOR

Whether it's engines or optimization or a really fat hamster, needless to say, having to cap zone limits because more than 15 people causes lag, chat bubbles on the fence, because it causes lag, no combat log, I'm sure it causes lag, opening a window causes lag, quest objectives popping up causes lag, spamming a skill and getting the error message spam causes lag, horrible graphic options.... Something is definately fishy about it all and hopefully they have people smart enough to fix it.

I think it was designed to be a pve game, then they check some numbers and see all these people in warzones. So then they say "jeez, we do pvp good!" What they fail to realize, or maybe admit to, is that there isn't anything else to do on your main character but pvp most of the time. HM FPs "waste of time", Dailys "puke", Ilum "horrible", Ops "only takes two days", alts "meh", what's left? Warzones Hopefully this will adjust in the future but that is the current state.

It doesn't matter what the "intended" fix is. Every week there is something listed as "working properly", then when it doesn't, we get some excuse like "Oh those are old patch notes" or some other BS Not to mention, name one advantage Reps have over Imps as far as any aspects of gameplay? This may be a small turd, but added on with improved reaction times on skills, less animation lags, way cooler looking gear, it all still smells like $$hit

Right, you enjoyed it, but have you tried the INQ or IA stories? They make the JK one seem like a B rated porno that doesn't show nudity.

Not trying to poke fun, just curious How do you do so well with just the default keybinds? Or are Inquisitors just that easy to play?
