  1. Unless it provides shared character storage then it will be fail in my eyes, regardless of all the shinies.
  2. Sadly if we did a search we could finds pages of threads requesting this (legacy bank). BW either can't or won't do it. At least they haven't addressed the long line of requests. I'm not sure why b/c the entire playing population would buy it.
  3. I like your ideas. The problem I see is that there is nothing you mentioned that would earn BW more money. Therefore I'm guessing the ideas will never be developed. Then again...they are already selling non-subs a better UI, just one step removed...
  4. TBH not really. I'd much rather have Legacy banks. Now if they put legacy banks INSIDE p[layer housing, then yeah, I'd be excited.
  5. I don't care what kind of system is used as long as fresh 55s have a competitive chance against the guy who lives in WZs on his 1 character since launch. I play too many alts to go back to the valor grind for gear. If people are as good as they think they are, they don't need a gear advantage in order to win. But my guess is that an even playing field (gear wise) is not what is being asked for. There are a lot more of us "casuals" out there than the guy who lives in Wzs, queuing regulars with his rated gear so his twitch account looks cool. BW/EA will follow the money every time; so I wouldn't expect a change that puts the majority at a huge disadvantage.
  6. Giving this thread a bump in case this is the ONE thread BW looks at today. I mean come on. GW1 had shared mat storage back in 2005. Make each character purchase the unlock in their legacy so you still make your cabbage & lets get on with this already.

  8. I'm going to bump this old thread b/c I badly want Legacy storage & I've not heard anything from BW about adding it. (At least I did a search & not start a new thread).
  9. Level 50 I was using the 2 piece Champion & 2 piece Centurion set bonuses. Am I better served to remove the set bonus armor mods & go with pure Makeb 58s + bolster or should I just replace the non-set pieces? Thanks for your time. EDIT: Nevermind. After seeing the difference in stats, I'll be replacing the armor.
  10. I don't ever see them implementing a punishment system for leaving a warzone. Due to the finite amount of pvpers in the game, keeping them from queuing is the last thing they want to do. WoW can get away with it b/c they cross-server queue, have a much larger pvp player base, and allow ppl to select how they want to play (arenas, regulars, they can even unselect certain battlegrounds if I recall correctly).

  12. You didn't follow the context of the conversation. I wasn't suggesting that they could open with these. My earlier comment was that they had an allotment of CCs which he was disputing. I simply named them all. Of course the resolve bar fills after the initial outburst of face plant & debilitation.
  13. Better energy management = more damage output. [/color] Which has nothing to do with more damage & more to do with better survivability as has been mentioned by others in the forum.

Operative General Lowered the cost of Hidden Strike to 15 energy (down from 17 energy), increased its cooldown to 9 seconds (up from 7.5 seconds), and increased the damage it deals Increased the duration of Tactical Advantage by 5 seconds (now 15, up from 10) Concealment Surgical Strikes now increases the damage dealt by Shiv, Overload Shot, and Backstab by 5% (up from 4%) Collateral Strike now has a 50/100% chance to trigger when Laceration is used (up from 35/70%) Culling now increases the damage dealt by Laceration and Collateral Strike by 3/6% (up from 2/4%) and recovers 4/8 energy whenever Collateral Strike damages an enemy target (down from 5/10) Waylay now increases the damage dealt by Backstab by 5% (up from 4%) Meticulously Kept Blades now additionally increases the critical damage dealt by Laceration by 10/20/30%, but no longer increases the critical damage dealt by Sever Tendon Calculated Frenzy no longer increases alacrity when triggered, but now increases ranged and tech critical chance by 2/4/6% instead" That's more than a 1 to 2 % damage increase & we both know it. It's the 1st time in a long while I've been taken from 100% health to 15-20% (25% for the well-geared) before I could even use an ability (even the stun breaker is useless given the allotment of CCs Ops/Smuggs have). It's kind of funny b/c I remember this exact thing happening at launch when conc/scrappers were kicking arse 1v1. The forums rebelled and after a while, the specs in question were nerfed. It's seems we've come full circle. I don't personally care if their buffs get managed or not but I do find the defense of this kind of game mechanic cowardly. Trying to give a logical reason as to why ANY class should be able to take someone form 100-15% health before they can react just shows me who is reasonable & who is hiding behind their new buffs. I did a youtube search just from this week & here's some video evidence for our valid concerns: We can argue all day b/c this is the internet, but the video don't lie. Have a great day.
  15. I noticed after the patch I was getting blown up by Concealment/Scrappers again (it's been a while) and decided to see if there was anything in the forums about it...sure enough lol. I guess I should read patch notes more often to see what's coming.
  16. I'd like to suggest you implement a Legacy bank that all characters in the Legacy can share. We may have characters in varying guilds so a guild bank does not suffice. Mailing items to alts is a way around it but why not add something we would be willing to pay for and benefited those of us who have grown tired of mailing items with an 8 limit per mail package. Sorry to those of you who get irked if something is mentioned twice or resides in another thread. I don't have time to peruse the forums. Thank you for your time. A returned sub.
  17. I had ability ui lag most of the night last night & I'm 10 minutes & counting on a loading screen all of a sudden tonight...really not sure what's up all of a sudden.
  18. As a subscriber, do you get an additional 10 character slots (for a total of 22) when F2P hits or do you just get 10 more than the F2P players get (2 - for a total of 12)?
  19. I was disappointed when I came back & found out that I had to change 5 of my 11 characters' names (one of which was level 42 & already on the destination server). It is what it is...less than ideal.
  20. I had to rename 5 of my 10 characters & I was on a destination server the whole time. One of those 5 was level 47. In truth this was handled poorly by BW, but in the end it is just a game so I won't get too bent out of shape about it.
  21. Not resubbing. I hope to come back when F2P hits & see what's being offered. ATM I'm having fun doing other things.
  22. Probably won't start until Thursday when the 6 month subbers expire. It might help stem the loss of 6 month subs if they give an incentive to resub.
