  1. House of Nobles Started in Ultima Online so many years ago; 18 years to be exact, as Perfect Circle of Trust. The guild was created by a Michael, he passed it to Jason, then to me, Ashember. I then took it on to World of Warcraft during Vanilla. There it stayed adding in other Games along the way. Then SWTOR came out. We closed it all down except WOW and here SWTOR where we have settled in today with the new Name House of Nobles and a mix of New and Old Members. We originally settled on Jung Ma though as the servers lost population we decided to move to The Ebon Hawk to ensure membership and community. The Ebon Hawk is the realm we choose to be on today and hopefully till the end. House of Nobles is a Casual Gaming guild, we like to touch on all the aspects of the game. We use Teamspeak primary as our communication source as we like to build community and longevity in our members. House of Nobles has an Empire guild and also a republic Guild. So if you are interested in RP, Op's, PVP, PVE or just getting started and looking for a community that will be with you for years to come in SWTOR then please let us know, place an application @ http://houseofnobles.enjin.com/member Contact me in Game Âshley (copy) or Ashember. and we can get you set up. 2. I have played since Beta. I relied on my crew skills along the way, for pretty much every class.. I have every crew skill to 500 now my Cybertech for instance has been stripped of it's key crafting.. it seems so useless now.. I don't' do space battles any longer. The stronghold and conquest is on every crew skill I find gadgets + grenades useless; as I always have, and that leaves nothing the mods are there but they have it so mixed up not I'm unhappy with the organization of it all in the Archive I find it exasperating just working with it. I would love to use the crew skills some one help me redefine what they are maybe some insight on the new direction.. I maybe just being a little hard on the system.. but it worked before and now it just seems they made changes just to make changes.
  3. OK I have a Guild that included players that like playing both Empire and Republic.. Simply said we enjoy the game and all it has to offer no matter the faction. We have Republic Guilds.. Awesome! We have Empire Guilds.. Awesome! What we don't have is a guild that includes the combined forces of the new Alliance. This Guild should be put on by the Hutts. A neutral guild. So the guilds that have grey jedi, or a guild that has a story that doesn't involve cannon. So what do you guys think.. ??????
  4. I'm not sure if Bio-ware added a setting in the user panel or not about toggling the world map. My issue is: When I used to open my world map by pressing "M" I used to get the local map the area I was in, and now I get the world map, the entire planet. I have to go to the bottom right every time and click the smaller map to get the Local. When I do I move it goes back to the Overview. Is there a way to have it come up local again.. it's really kinda annoying when I'm questing and I have to stop and fix that Every time!
  5. So maybe this is just me but I have been thinking about this whole thing and this is the conclusion I have come to. Level reduction to promote grouping.. I think this an avenue for the company to clip the economy, and promote the cartel market. So take my circumstance. I'm not able to buy cartel coins to spend them willy nilly on packs.. I can pay for the Sub.. that's about it.. so those that can poor real money into the cartel packs will be the people with money... Though I have a guild .. and they are active.. I will feel extremely guilty dragging them along EVERY DAY to dailies to MAKE ME Money.. Sure I know what your thinking. They need money too, but let be honest.. most people have to be dragged kicking and screaming for dailies. Not only that I can do all the dailies alone in about 2 hours.. when I bring people along..even one person, my dailies take much much longer.. it makes me not want to do them as they are drooling enough alone, but its my only source of income in the game.. I'm sure others are like me. Also being a GM my game time is normally spend on the Admin side, recruiting, helping members, and if I get time... I level my toons.. so there is little time for actual game play. As far as this gimp stat Mastery.. I don't' even know where to start. I don't' play X-box. I don't play nintendo or what ever game box is out there. Personally I play PC games. and I do this for a reason.. they are challenging. if I wanted a game that was easy I'd play games on my phone, which by the way are sometimes more challenging then SWTOR. The sad part is this is the only game on the market I like.. so your lucky there is no other company offering Star Wars MMO's because I'd be gone in a minute. With that said I'm going to stick in there, though I protest! I have hopes that it will only be a phase and will return to the consistent game that is SWTOR. Half the fun is finding gear, that grind, that search can keep you busy for days. Which is what the game is about, finding that one piece of gear, showing it off, using it.. the prestige. Why in the world would you make me lose that sense of accomplishment.. Why would you make it so that 7 year olds can play the game.. Look this is an MMO dont' lose sight that it is SUPPOSED TO BE CHALLENGING!!
  6. Look if I wanted to play a game that was easy and brainless I'd play WOW or Solitaire. Don't lose the solid state challenge that is SWTOR. Why do you need to Dumb down this game.. losing the foundation will ruin this game. You will find this will cause you to lose players on a massive scale. You knew this was a bad Idea, the way I know this is you waited for the very last second to air it.. Bad Bad Bad..
  7. This is total ********.. this is why I left WOW.. Don't' Change the GAME! I'd drop this NOW!!
  8. I am going to start of opposing this! I'm going to keep it short to spark a healthy debate, please keep in mind we are in this game together so please keep it civil. With that said let me list a few concerns. I feel it is first unfair to all of us that have paid our dues, I also think that giving people max level characters is in general a bad policy. WOW sales level 90's it has caused a lot of hard ache. Pay to win is only going to push players away, look at what happened with the launch of the cartel market. I for one, as a founder feel allowing people that have no experience with the game to have a 60 is anti productive to game play. it truly It is not an excuse to get subscribers. I feel it's important for the game continuity. PLEASE RECONSIDER THIS AND TAKE IT OUT. PRESERVE THE GAME!!
  9. Sure wish there was more that would bring players back.. I never played Galaxies but if we had an open universe like that, perhaps it would bring players back..
  10. Totally didn't think about that. Although it could ruin the individualism of your toons. That's for the powers that be to decide
  11. OK, here is the Idea for the Legacy system. Shared Character Bank So how many times a day do you switch Char to find that one freakin mat you need to make that piece for your friend/guild-mate. What if you had one bank for your toons, that you can pull mats and shared Items from. or you buy a tab in your bank that is a "Shared Character Tab" that you can put tradable items in, Like Mats, BOE armor, weapons and such. This could be a legacy perk. Kinda like a personal guild bank. Maybe on top of that a Shared Money pool. You won't have to create an alt just for a guild bank any more. What do you all think?
  12. Ultima online kinda had that, you could get "red" and hated by the guards and such, or you could have a "Faction Guild" and it worked well, you lost a lot but in some aspects it was totally worth it.. I'm just thinking there has to be a simple way to add it. http://uo2.stratics.com/essays-and-guides/in-game-systems/the-faction-system But it could be specific to Star wars of course, and as far as the questing go's that is simple you can keep all the story line the same, just add a quest giver on both sides, with the same speech model. and which ever side you like you quest on and become aligned to. or stay hated.. I mean a Bounty hunter and a Smuggler are really neutral anyway.. they care about money.
  13. but think about this, you are grey to both Republic and Empire and you can be attacked by both faction. but you can also come to there camp, and earn "Reputation" to that faction. I never said there would be an immunity, in fact quite the opposite. You are the outcast, like the Hutts.
  14. You know I'v noticed something in all the years I have played MMORPG's. Why is it, that NPC's(non-Player characters) are able to do things that Players aren't. Some Examples: 1. Defect to the other side 2. Spy's actually become "green" to the opposing faction 3. Are neutral in faction like the Hutt's. Why can't the Players have a neutral faction.. Maybe I want to play a Bounty hunter or Smuggler works for Republic and Empire I'm all about the money. 4. Maybe I have Family on the Other side..((Off Subject but kinda the same)) and want to Send mail or whisper them. I know there are lots more, Feel free to add, I'm just wondering what the double standard is all about.. I mean I'd love to play as a 3'rd faction.. come on think about that.. always on the outs and hired by any one that needs a hand. Able to have alliances on both sides..
  15. Posted by: James Ohlen “This build has our first iteration of the Legacy System! At its core the Legacy system is about allowing players to create a family tree of characters. Family is pretty important to the Star Wars universe, with the Skywalker family having one of the most interesting dynamics in movie history. This version is just the foundational components that we will use to build upon in the future. Here are the features of this iteration: Once your character has completed their Chapter 1 storyline, they will be able to choose a Legacy Last Name. This Legacy Last Name must be unique and is shared across all characters on that server – so choose carefully! Once you have unlocked your Legacy, any and all characters on that server will now contribute to that player’s Legacy Experience Points. Much like normal experience points, when you reach certain Legacy thresholds, you will increase your Legacy Level. We already have plans for how we will expand the functionality of the Legacy System in one of our major post-ship patches. This will include being able to shape your Legacy’s family tree, and give you a reward for all those Legacy Levels.” http://www.brianathomas.com/archives/2011/12/11/swtor-legacy-names/ Gráinne Ní O'Malley Of the O'Malley Clan Jung Ma
