  1. lol can't believe there are pvp guilds. This is a pve focused game.
  2. I'm guessing your also the type that picks up the extended warranty option.
  3. Fun game for a month or so, but after awhile there's less and less reason to log on. 1. Crafting becomes very meaningless in end game. With the exception of biochem, which due to poor design becomes a must have profession, crew skills are largely irrelevant. All gear will come from pvp/pve. 2. Dialogue makes repeating flashpoints very long and tedious. Sure you can spacebar, but usually someone in a random group won't and you will have to put up with it despite hearing the dialogue maybe a dozen times before. 3. PVP system is too boring to support the valor grind to battlemaster. With only 3 warzones and ilum, getting to valor rank 60 is just painful. This is especially true on servers with major faction imbalances. 4. Purple quality loot is too easy to obtain. There's no sense of satisfaction when you can easily pick up purple gear so soon after hitting lv 50.
  4. The planets just feel sooooo empty. I absolutely hate it. Large planets with a uniform theme + few players/creatures/enemies creates an awful atmosphere.
  5. 300k is not that easy. First, you need the game to be relatively even matched as quick victories make reaching 300k challenging. Generally it's easier for range if your enemies are not well organized. Further, you need some healers to keep you up. Basically the ingredients are 1. Enough time 2. Good amount of pvp gear 3. Competent in your class 4. Healers
  6. Risque, Bondar Crystal Believe me, your argument (if you can call it that) is so stupid that I would never want you in an objective based pvp game.

NO TO CROSS SERVER WZ Why on earth are they rushing with this when there is already a problem in the lack of community within servers (lets not even start with the lack of server specific forums) This game already suffers from too much of a single player game where you are disconnected from other players. Guaranteeing your teammates (and more importantly enemies) will overwhelmingly be strangers is a step in the wrong direction
  8. You should be thankful that an interrupt only blocks one type of heal spell and leaves you open to cast another. This game has gone out of its way into making range classes easy to play. Auto centering on all casts, secondary heal spells, and knockbacks that encompass snares and roots. Oh, and environments where you can simply knockback players to instant deaths.
  9. Yes, huttball is generally considered a broken map from the perspective of melee classes. You can go up a pillar and freely case down on melee classes knowing full well that as soon as they leap at you, you just need to knock them back down to the ground.
  10. Alright, after about a week my patience with this place has run out. Before I quit ilum entirely and reconsider my focus on pvp, are there any plans on addressing faction balance in ilum?

    Warzone Daily Bug

    I'd say 1/3 to 1/2 of all my warzone wins fail to register a completion win my team wins. Any fix planned?
  12. The -2s off kick is so crucial for pvp that it is essentially a must have talent.
  13. Excellent news. If all goes to plan this will make the game so much more awesome.
  14. I dunno. I kind've like it. The 1-2 delay on pressing a spell when its still on cool down despite looking like its reset seems to sync well with the delay in character responsiveness.

I'd just like to add that the increase in 60 valor players is going to make warzones even more unbearable for lower populated sides. 1-2 extra opponents with substantially better gear is enough to tip the balance in most random warzones. Completing dailies will be even more time consuming. Over the course of the next several months this patch may end up costing some players dozens of hours that they will now have to play in order to win the equivalent number of warzones to reach their desired goal.
  16. Extreme faction imbalance was a known issue from the very beginning. Why they didn't put a hard cap on player limit in places like Ilum like WOW painfully learned years ago is beyond me. This was a very predictable problem and they ignored everyone that warned them about it.
  17. These are my feelings exactly. I dont have a problem per se with the class right now but when something as critical as kick fails to work because of this lag than there is a major issue.
  18. Game was rushed, seeing some of the effects manifest itself now. You had a license to one of the best IP rights to a game and you blew it.
  19. The new changes to ilum and its negative effects were easily predictable to anyone who played vanilla AV or Winterspring. My question is, did bioware not pay attention to blizzards mistake? So how long are we going to have to wait till you implement a hard cap on the number of players from each faction being able to zone into ilum?
  20. I'm going to take a wild guess and say 90% of all servers had the imperials camping republic players just trying to finish their dailies. It is unacceptable that an entire faction gets a huge pvp gear bonus due to a bug. Nobody likes being camped and they do not deserve being handicapped in future warzones afterwards.
  21. I'd be embarrassed if I was an artist and this game advertised current armour textures as high quality. The option "high" should be greyed out to accurately reflect the fact that it is not implemented yet. That would be the ethical thing to do.
  22. Well have fun with that, because someone with equal skill and a class with less things to manage (aka non-sentinel) will be owning your face.
  23. Not sure if this counts towards healing, but if you drop to low hp you can force camouflage and use introspection to regen back to full. With a large health pool that adds a lot
  24. The problem with combat is that it has poor focus generation which is a major strength of watchmen. Further, the root on saber throw which sounds awesome isn't that great in practice as 10m is ridiculously a short range in this game. 90% of the time you will end up using 10m spells when the opponent is already in melee range which reduces the usefulness of the spell.
