  1. I don't know why you insinuate I'm lying. That's really not called for. As if this game doesn't have bugs. lol! I know I didn't jump into the restricted area as well. I jumped to an enemy player just at the bottom of the central ramp, slowed them, got knocked back and proceeded to walk into the edge of the endzone. At that point, I received the message and subsequant death. I know for a fact I didn't have the ball anywhere approaching two minutes as well. I was playing well, but not THAT well. In ending, why would I come here asking about something if I were lying? It happened. I was just wondering if it had happened to someone else. Added: After speaking with some others, it may be possible that the debuff didn't clear when I had the ball earlier. That's really the most likely option I can think of.
  2. I had it maybe 20 seconds before this happened.
  3. I'm running the ball in for a score this afternoon and just as I cross the goal line, I die, do not get the score and the text reads: Defeated by (my toon's name) with Throw the Ball [68,016 damage]. What the?
  4. You all are laughing at the guy, but he has a point that can't be debated. Every decent Premade has at least two pyros on Pot5.
  5. My first suggestion for what stat you should be focusing on is: POWER, POWER and more POWER! Also, if your buffed crit is only 29.15, you'll want to increase that stat to ~33% when buffed. As for accuracy, I personally drop every point of it on all my gear for pvp. Pve is a different story. To be fully min/max'ed you'll want to continue to switch out mods/enhancements even further. I suggest the WH field tech boots to start for more power/surge. In conclusion, check into getting the legacy orange belt/bracers for your final project. The stat increase is tremendous and the expertise loss is negligible once your other pieces are in place. Just use a pvp mod in both!
  6. Since most here have said "Nay" I then pose the question, do you all in turn favor the ability for everyone to see your complete skill tree? The contents of your inventory? Statistical data? Atm we have some level of privacy. I take it that most feel it's good exactly the way it is?
  7. I can assure you the reason Bae'li posted this discussion had zero to do with getting denied for ANY group. He's simply taken the time to calculate his spec and gear and wants that work to be his own. I personally see nothing wrong with that.
  8. It's my personal opinion that yes, there SHOULD be some sort of privacy option. Here are my reasons why: 1) The ability to crunch the numbers and figure out the best build for your class/spec is, most certainly, a skill. Those good at it shouldnt be forced to give away their work for free. 2) This game is so very cookie-cutter that one of the only things that seperates players from the pack is that skill of properly gearing themselves. Maybe that is the devs intention, to make everyone the same and let skill decide but on a side note, this game (regarding wz's) is a group effort. Why not allow thoughtfullness on a personal level to mean something? 3) Other games have this feature that are far more complex in a gearing sense and balance is still somewhat achieved. It's my personal opinion that the devs of this game want to keep it simplified with their balancing by making classes as standard as possible. This may lead to better overall balance in a gaming sense but at the same time it takes alot of the individuality away from players. For this reason I vote "Yes" to allowing privacy on some level.
  9. It's always worked. You just had to select it from the list rather than "drag and drop" because it wasn't in your actual inventory. I modded mine the first time I logged in.
  10. I think the one key thing most people here are missing is that while the +10% damage increase is nice, you are also giving up something in return. No, I don't mean the wepmaster set bonuses, I mean you are giving up tons of rated comms to obtain it. If you're on a highly populated server and have the spare time to do so, then great. Most, however, are not. As for me, what I see as far more beneficial to my build is actually re-modding the wepmaster set to specifically tailor itsself to my playstyle. I'll remove all the accuracy and add power/crit/surge in it's place. I already have several wepmaster BM sets so additionally I won't be waisting time by grinding out more wz comms to get the BM vindicator's set in the first place. The final product, IMO, will be just as nice as the stock 4 peice vindicator's set will be, plus I'll have the stats I like and they will be useful always, not just AFTER force leap. As for people downing the additional 5 meter range on dispatch, I just don't understand your logic. It is, simply put, an AWESOME set bonus. Dispatch is your one true ranged KILLER skill. It's your finishing move from ranged, period. Ever been slowed and kited to death? I'm sure we all have. Add 5 more meters to Dispatch and your opponent is dead and you're moving on to the next target instead of waiting for a door to release you 20 seconds later.
  11. Just put the original mods back in them before the patch and *Poof* you're good.

    Name calling?

This sort of thing happens several times a day on HoG. In fact, it's already happened about 5 times today already. I say /Report then /ignore and move on as best you can. Show me a perfect player and I'll tell you the meaning of life, Just try not to let it get you down. This game is chock full of some wonderful characters.
  13. I have to call crap here when I see this and this assumption is utter garbage. You should really rethink the assertation that these two things even remotely equal each other.
  14. Yup, same thing has been happening to me since the latest patch on tuesday. Yesterday, during a huttball match the ball carrier ran right past me and scored while I had stasis going on them with zero resolve. Seems like a new bug.
  15. The point of the matter is, do we all really want to grind on forever? The OP made an interesting point, not that I mind either way really. I guess it's just the way mmo's work, everyone should know that by now., You put in your time to have the best gear for a period of time. That's all. It's a neverending cylce that we, as players, just have to get used to. When we decide to put in the time to get the best stuff, we should know that it isnt going to be the best forever and go into it with that mindset. I do disagree that it took zero effort to get BM. Being a republic melee class, it wasnt that easy. We were useless in Ilum, and after all, we weren't the ones doing the valour farming. It isn't that big of a deal to be BM now, but to be BM 6 weeks ago did mean something to some people.
