  1. This just happened to me as well, 2 matches in a row. Ctrl+U did not fix the issue. This is the first time I have seen this ever since GSF came out.
  2. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this, it worked perfectly when I tried it. I was having many of the aforementioned problems most people brought up in this thread and this allowed me to get past the fight.
  3. I fear no individual player. I recoginize quite a few regulars since I run both rep and imp ships but I only cringe when a bunch of good players, pre-made or not, are on the opposite end of my blasters. The guys in Despair know what I mean.
  4. Bah, in domination I would fly the asteroids into each of the satellites. If we can't have them, neither shall the enemy!!!
  5. For starters, thanks to saberzzz for the nod. I think what Yndras just said is indicative of how I have been playing as of late: i.e. I try not just flying on my GS to rack up kills/big numbers. In domination, more often than not, requires a bomber to sit on a point most of the match to win. Strike fighters/scouts can be just as fun to play and take you out of your comfort zone and hopefully make you a better player. Besides, when you own 11+ ships it's just silly to play one type all the time, regardless of how people will label you.
  6. I have explored all of Makeb/uncovered the entire map of all the areas and I did not receive credit for the achievement. Under the achievement itself all the areas are showing checked off but I still did not get credit for the achievement.
  7. I've been getting this for awhile myself. -Win7 64 bit, i5 processor, 8G of RAM -Realtek audio drivers -NVidia 560X video card All drivers are current.
  8. This x 1000. More often than not I simply get the "Cannot See Target" message when doing HM on my sentinel. VERY frustrating since I cannot help on adds during this phase.
  9. Sigh, my unused Underworld Relic of Dark Radiance in my inventory is mocking me every time I open my bags...:(:(
  10. The PvP relics will stack while the PvE one's do not? When 2.0 dropped the PvP Conqueror Serendipitous Assault could stack with the Partisan Serendipitous Assault until it was fixed in patch 2.1. Oddly enough the PvP SE and DR relics DO stack but the PvE one's do not. Sorry, I'm just not buying this at all. This is either poor design, the dev's not understanding what is going on (despite clear documentation by others in this thread) or a typical " we screwed up and this is our defacto statement" stance. The fact that the PvP SA and DR buffs still stack means they messed up the PvE relics. BW, take responsibility for your error and fix this. NiMTfB and NiMS&V are coming and I do not want to hamstring my guild by using broken relics that I have acquired through months of raiding.
  11. Also QFT. Can't they get any of their proc relics to work right? Now I'm 'stuck' with an UW SA relic and a UW DR relic that won't proc properly when equipped in tandem? If this is 'working as intended' the combat team needs another 'restructuring' because this makes no sense at all.
  12. Quoting directly from the mmomechanics threat titled Annihilation | Watchman Compendium: "The Power vs. Primary stat debate is one of the most contested in the game right now. Previously, I advocated primary stat over power, and my math showed this. Now, my math shows Strength augments are superior by 0.8%. Power contributes 0.23 to bonus damage, while Strength contributes 0.20. However, Strength is buffed by the Sith Inquisitor | Jedi Consular buff by 5%. Thus, the comparison becomes 0.23 vs. 0.21 (1.05 * 0.20 = 0.21). The increase in bonus damage is thus 0.02 per point of power. Considering Power Augments provide an extra 448 (32 * 14 = 448) Power, the increase to Bonus Damage is 8.96 (448 * 0.02 = 8.96). Our class buff boosts these both by 5% so we end up with a total of 9.408 more bonus damage from Power augments. Next, Strength also increases crit %. These 448 points in strength contribute 1% to crit chance. Specifically from 2,349 strength to 2,797 based on full 72 gear and Nano-Infused Stim. Thus, the true comparison becomes 9.408 more Bonus Damage vs. 1% more crit. Again my math shows Strength to be ever so slightly better even at the next tier of gear."
  13. I got into two bad runs yesterday myself. When it rains it pours... First one was a HM LI, trying to get the daily done for the 10 basic coms on my sentinel. I'm level 55, healer is 54, other rdps is 55, tank is level 50 with only 14k health, mostly tionese gear and green relics/earpieces. He dies on the first sub boss and on one of the totally avoidable trash pulls before the first boss. I proceed to drop group. Later, I get HM Hammer Station with a naked vanguard (see http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=634823 for more details) who wipes our group twice before we can vote kick him. Healer pulls out tanking companion and we proceed until we get to the droid group with the two elites/two strongs. As I CC one of the elites, the healer DC's and we wipe. 5 minutes later the healer is still DC'd. Drop group again. Full moon or patch day, take your pick.
  14. That would be Novak, just happened to my group as well. Pure douche.
  15. I have to add to the clamor here, it has been pretty awful since 2.0 dropped. Doing dailies on Makeb and some of my instant abilities (force leap) don't show up until 4-5 seconds later. This happened at least a dozen times last night over a 2+ hour period. Please revisit this.
  16. I can understand where the OP is coming from: a lot of these side quests can be fun. Hell, this entire GAME is fun and wanting to experience that (voice over quests and all) is a testament to exploring and playing the game. In that respect I feel bad that the OP can only play on the weekends. However, as I am currently working on my 8th level 50 character, I absolutely LOVE the double XP weekends. When you have this many toons you have probably hit every side quest at some point during the game and usually don't want to hit them all again (4x if you level all rep. classes, and 4x if you level every imp. class). Another thing to consider: legacy presence bonus. When you level this many toons and take care of all your companions/affections you are looking at a hefty legacy boost (which is 715 on my main after all the boosts). I would LOVE to cap my sorcerer out at 50 before ROTHC drops and try to get that final +50 presence bonus for maxing out all of HIS companions. Like others have said here, level and alt for the double xp weekends for now. The double xp will not be here forever and having an extra character for crafting/gathering can never be a bad thing.
  17. People In Your Raid Be sure to read The Aussie part, because seriously, you can never have too many aussies in your raid.
  18. /signed, very happy to see this, glad it got here before 2.0!
  19. You mean, 'welcome back,' right? Most of Dalborha's population came from the Harbinger to begin with....
  20. Likes - 2 million + accounts, I like. Dislikes - now were are at an 8 week distribution vs. a 6 week distribution for new content? That was a rather 'subtle' change. Funneling the cathar through the cartel market and not giving it to subscribers is also pretty lame. As far as people leaving the game, that's easy: no new endgame content (i.e Raids). I have seen several high-end guilds on my server go belly up recently and that's a real bummer. And no, running NiM EC for 4+ months is NOT new. Someone asked me a couple weeks ago: "Do you like running EC?" My honest answer was: "At first." So how do you make this "new" content (NiM EC) last? Simple: if you are EW/BW you deliberately over tune the instance to the point of absurdity so that once most guilds finally clear NiM Kephess they have zero desire to go back and do it again, even if the instance is now technically on 'farm' status. Sadly, now that the cartel market is making that much more money for the company I doubt they will put any real effort into new and meaningful content. x 1000
