My solution that lets you do all the greyed out side quests and have the combat feel right. I respec'ed my level 38 and left 10 skill points unused, it's not perfect but facing mobs on Alderaan no longer feels ike swatting files.

I cannot answer your question I do not have a level 50 toon and that probably explains why these posts keep appearing. Here's a thought: Maybe I don't know it matters not that I skip quests but because I have no experienced of this I feel cheated of gameplay. The thing is - even if you tell me over and over again that it does not matter that I skip quests I will still feel cheated because of that same lack of experienced. I can hope that when I am levelling my 2nd or 3rd toon I will see the emperor has no clothes ... until then new users will still feel cheated and still compalin that double XP is robbing them of gameplay I do know that I have a choice not to use an XP comsumable or Logoff from a cantina and I'm not sure how the legacy stufff works - I thought that kicks in when you hit 50 with a toon - but it's some thing you have to purchase isn't it ?

OP has not been given "Many different work arounds" Its the same one reiterated - Don't play with your Toon, play with an alt, skip the quest etc etc - Well these are various ways of saying "Don't Play" Now you can waffle on about people having tantrums and telling them to get on and play the game but simple truth is that you are not qualified to answer OP: The point OP is making eilludes you. Your understanding of their point of view is not present. Everything you suggest is biased by this lack of understanding of their point of view. Nothing anyone says contrary to your point of view will sink in.

The 1st time you did the quest was it easy? - Did you think to yourself 'You know what I'm not going to bother cause it will be so easy, so I'll just skip the quest and do it with my ALt' - Of course you may have to do it to progress in the game but would the 1st run through be as much fun if you were say 10 -15 levels too high for it ? The trouble is the people who play the game as a rush to to the endgame are blinkered to the people who do not play the same way as them.. From a marketing point of view ramp the progress to lvl 50 just get as many users there as quickly as possible then they will buy the extra content we are trying to sell. If you didn't have a hight level toon would you buy the DLC now or wait till you leveled, couldn't take risk so they sold gameplay out to squeese more cash from the DLC launch

If both sage and agent were in the mid leveling range of 25 - 35 when Hutt is released and you didn't have a toon to play the content - would you buy the expansion or would you wait till you had a toon that could play it? I think the marketing department asked the same question and came up with this as a solution

I think that's far too complex - How about a double XP weekend pass sent to everyones email and let them choose to use it or not - much easier and the mechanics to make it work are already in place

I think an option to turn off xp gain when you want to is great - and - I deleted the character that was 8 points over the level range on Alderaan because it was too easy to kill everyone. I have a level 1 agent on Hutt but he's probably just going to chill at the cantina

I would argue that if I were to use an ALT to do a quest already completed by my character it wouldn't be the same experience for botht

The only benefits you see for a character are specific items or rewards - What I see is my character experiencing the environment he exists in and he's getting a little bored of findiing a new building to look round - and killing everyone in it without even getting a hangnail - if you cannot lose what is the point of winning - If i die on a non class mission I abandon it.

No - you are wrong my character CANNOT experience missed content the ALT would experience it So .. I see that you do not get it either

You are so right, You can go from 1 to 50 so easily AND.... if you get behind you can play some WZ's to catch up.... You really don't get it do you ? ... think harder
