  1. you are arguing for the sake of the argument, not to provide helpful tips, thats my problem. while spreading (semi-)false information. ofc theres always the easiest way to buy everything you want. but we dont need to open threads like OP did just to have someone like you point out "you could spend money", but to give the best ways which do NOT include p2w. your inability of reading comprehension is annoying. or you just dont want to understand the meaning of a post and argue to.....yeah argue, as i pointed out earlier.
  2. yeah, just that there is some flaw in your logic: in order to maintain optimal stats for every toon, you gotta do your "great" aug management on all of them. where exactly to you plan to use all of these wasted alacrity augs then? news flash: grinding 60 million creds or 32 CMTs for every toon takes way longer than grinding the 258 pieces, so its definitly not easier, since we were talking about the easiest way. ok, unless you are one of the credit seller customers or buy things for CC to resell them. thats way easier, if you wanna spend hundrets of dollars for optimal stats, each his own.
  3. yeah right, im absolutly sure its easier to get 32 CMTs or 50-60million creds for 8 more alacrity augments than it is to farm some more crystals for extra healer chest, glove and boots. just to waste them 1 month later when 258 OH is released and farm another 32CMTs or 60million creds for the crit augs you need then. sounds reasonable.
  4. cheating :D dry your pants guys. oh god, thats better than i could ever imagine. already got the internet p***s boys triggered. its a set bonus you can get by using 5 guild perks of the same type: "everytime you deal damage or get hit there is a small chance to activate a guild attack". you cant even control IF and WHEN it proccs. and the odds seem ridiculously low, that someone would have to parse for hours and hours to get it on purpose. our guild got it since 48hrs. i played like 10 hours in this time, doing dailies and raiding etc. it didnt even procc once. then i did exactly one full parse to check out the new item level....boom

  6. im kinda glad this is bugged. just played one match, and gotta say, this the worst game mode ive ever seen. wondering why it doesnt pop on regular days:rolleyes: but anyway, the devs cant be serious right now. thats the 2. of 7 possible ossus weeklies overall which is bugged, all along with some dailies. what did they do on pts?!
  7. why is there no "we dont need a new arena at all, work on fixing 5.10 game breaking bugs like the set bonus and quest bugs instead!" - option? feels like you arnt living in a different year, but in a different world now. happy new year my a**.

  9. pro tip: you could even leave after getting the 8th medal. the quest is completetd at that point. not saying you should do as it would destroy the match for everybody else. just wanna put it in contrast to the MM FP weekly, which takes 10x more time than pvp weekly. and thats the point where all PVP players should outrage again, and rightful so. as a mostly PVE player i have no problem at all to queue for pvp and play one match for 5-10min where i couldnt even care about the outcome. as a pvp player, you have to play 4 MM FPs which take atleast 15min (hammerstation) and you have to complete them. thats ridiculous.

  11. you are cold as ice, arent you. this is so calculated and subtile, its scary and shocking. you had 3 months to respond to our concerns, and again, dont tell me you didnt recognize them. there were tons of posts regarding this issue since PTS launched. no patch notes, no reaction.....nothing. so now, right after the last patch for this year, you finally found your balls to admit it was intended, only because you know you gonna be off on holidays for 2-3 weeks, letting the people rage all alone in the forums and hope the armageddon will be over by the time you return. i tell you what, it will be. and all whats left gonna be the insane hardcore fans of the game unable to leave, who dont care being treated like ****. i´m not sure, if i´m gonna be one of them. as a developer myself i call ********. you cant mess up code that much, that you have to replace every single armoring already used by players. there gotta be some kind of entity called "armoring" which has the attribute "set bonus" (simplyfied) and all you need to do is change it back like it was, affecting all armorings in the game. stop bull******* us.
  12. i would sell them. i mean 90% of the players sold their shells sibce 5.0, if they use legacy gear. just few people would think that far ahead and "gamble" that they need them again. i think BW is aware of this, thats why the new system wasnt designed that way in first place. and thats why i think they wont change it. command crates and points are pretty much useless at this point. a way to avoid this would have been to increase 248 drop rates in t4 and put 252 gear in them with the old drop chances (or maybe a tiny bit lower) of 248 pieces. but they actualy reduced the drop rate of 252 to a point where it just isnt worth the time and effort to grind CXP.
  13. i think we either have a mathematical or communication problem here. it WILL take you 15-20k more UCs to get from 252 to 258 for one toon. assuming you buy all the shards. only way around it would be patiently grind the weeklies for shards, but that takes waaayy longer as you claimed. so 60-9-20 = 31 thats 31k left after your first char is full 258. have fun equiping 2 more toons with 31k. anyway, as i said, it might be enough to equip 1 or 2 toons, IF someone got these huge amounts of UC in stock. every new toon after that has to be geared the long way, and its really long. so nearly every PvP player has these amounts of UC in his bank??? wondering why the FU** 90% of them were crying like 12 yo girls in 100 threads how bad the gearing system will be and how long an average pvp player will need to grind UCs, after realizing how much one full 258 toon will cost them. leading to this mess in first place. it was because of all these cries that BW decided one week before releasing 5.10 that they would rework the system and now 252 gear would cost shards as well and be required to get 258, nearly doubling the price over all.
  14. its not about the effort or being smart. its about the RNG. you could grind ossus with 60 mirror chars per week. if all of them get implants in their crates, none of them will be full 252 after this week, unless you spend tons of UCs like you did. i dont think many players got 60k UCs in stock, and spending 9k of them to get the second best gear seems not "smart" to me. i mean, you gonna need ~20k to upgrade to 258. so you spent ~30k of UCs for one toon alone. i dont see how you gear the rest of your alts with 30k left. and even worse, after that, i dont wanna know the time it takes to farm 9k or even 20k UCs per week to equip more toons someone might wanna play. so you could as well take your time and just buy 1shard per toon for 500 UCs, since you wont earn them as fast as you spend them anyway.
  15. thats what we were talking about. the logical way to solve this would be to roll twice: 1. roll: chest, bracelets, gloves or implantant (dont know the exact distribution for each box, so this is just an example) 2. roll: if 1. roll = implant, roll crit, accuracy or alacrity instead they went the easy way and put all possibile drops in one roll. if intended or not, thats just stupid design.
  16. the answer is, we dont know. but since this was reported 100 times since the PTS for 5.10. went online, and never got an answer to any of these questions, we (i) assume, that it is indeed intended. they were/are just to scared to officialy announce it, because they knew what would´ve come down on them. nobody can tell me that eric reads a 15+ pages long thread with bug reports and actually replies to 80% of them, but miss out on this specific one. he just ignored it. but he actualy adressed the set bonus issue and said it is a bug. still, i think both were intended like every other blocker in the new gearing system is (low drop rates from CXP-crates, low set pieces drop rates from artefact crates etc.) and just realized that they went a bit to far. we will never know. but the slot binding wont be fixed soon apparently, if ever.
  17. so you spent 24 shards and 9000 UCs on 252 which could better been spent on 258 gear. dont know if you are on the winnig side here.... anyway, since the drop rates are that bad, i lean towards doing the same, instead of grinding ossus dailies on 10 chars per week to hope i get good RNG when opening their crates.

  19. 16 cratea over the last two week: 13 implants or relicts. first i thought it would be intended and is just another trick to increaae the grind. but you might actualy be right. they were too stupid to think about the amounts of different relicts and therefor the higher dropchance compared to a single set piece. either way, i have given up on ossus dailies and just do the weeklies which reward shards. gonna buy the stuff i need myself, f... you BW and your RNG bs.
  20. mssing lgbtqabcdefghblablawhatever+ romances wont drive the majority of people away from the game like game breaking bugged missions, operations and gear sytems do. so no, theres no subjective view on what is a real problem and what isnt.

  22. exactly my thoughts. and for a lil icing on the cake they apparently increased drop rates for left side pieces in artefact crates compared to the actualy set pieces. out of 12 artefact crates i got from the weekly ossus mission, 3 got actual set pieces(2x bracelets) and 9(!!!) implants/relicts. considering each crate contains 4-5 different pieces, the theoretical drop rate for an implant should be ~20%. in fact the drop rate is something like 75%. thats ridiculous. there were so many ways to make that grind longer and literally harass players, and i tell you, they found them all. its ok if content is hard to get BiS gear, but this is plain bs.
  23. it does exactly that. by argueing against it, it gives you the answer. you cant use a a mathematical study as a bible, thats a paradox. a scientific document is all, but a fictional story. he claimed his calculations are more accurate, i ask why and gave evidience why i disagree. he didnt answer. you had questions regarding crit calculations, so i posted it again. thats exactly 2 times i posted it and one of them didnt even belong to the didcussion with OP. if you dont believe it, thats fine. test it yourself and give us the results. i dont have the time to do so, so i'd be glad to see more statistics either proove or disproove it. regarding bluecults claim: there might be a typo. i think what he wanted to say is, he got 4% more dps. i might be wrong here, but why would anyone look at the amount of crits first instead of the overall damage. if i understand it correctly, with crit > 1800 the crit chance doesnt increase more than mastery does and importantly not enough to compensate missing mastery and therefor base damage. thats why you get better results.

  25. again, conquests. C...O....N...Q...U...E...S...T...S. get a guild which does the large planet goals. get 6-14 toons, do 1 hour of conquest everyday, profit. depending on the conquest, you can get the 15k points on up to 14 toons with 1hr playtime a day. there are bad conquests were you cant repeat much daily stuff, but i can get 14 chars through their personal goal at gree events or similar conquests. did this (with some breaks) for the last year, getting the personal goal on 8 chars per week on average with nearly no time effort. (i.e. rampage missions give you 4500k points in 5-10mins). all my 14 toons are full augmented and i still have ~250 CMTs on stock. (played ~10hrs a week, which isnt that much at all. but you dont even have to spend 10hrs if you want to augment 1 char.) there was always a grind to prepare for hard content. atleast you gotta get some credits for repair costs if you do progress raiding. (and dont tell me you are so good, you never wipe)
