  1. I understand the drop rate is 25%. Statistically your situation will come up about 13% of the time. That is 7 bags zero tokens. Just bad luck man.
  2. Others have offered a fair, non complicated solution. If you leave you can not queue up for another WZ until the WZ you left has ended. This should be relatively easy to implement. Even easier just make it 15 min because that is the longest a WZ could last. So I think if you quit you can not queue up again for 15 min. Again, this would be very easy to implement and would go a long ways to discouraging desertion.
  3. LOL... Come on man. "lets universally piss off the player base so we can get more people to PVP" ... You really think that is what is going on? No. It is coding problems that NEED to be fixed. That is all. This should be a top priority for them because it is very very frustrating.
  4. This! More WZs are a MUST especially given the current state of open world PVP. Unfortunately I see no easy/quick fix for OW PVP so give us more WZs while you make it right.
  5. This is not the cause. Every non-counting win I have had occurred in WZs where nothing seemed out of the ordinary as far as I can remember. I would say almost 30% of my wins are not counting.
  6. Yep, you can get 20 bags a week pretty easy. That is 140 champ tokens + a drop chance. That is at min 2-3 pieces a week on an easy grind (1 - 1 1/2 hour per day).
  7. Not understanding you post at all. This change will allow you to gear up much much quicker.
  8. I understand your personal reasons for wanting a strong 1v1 pvp class but I hope you are not suggesting that the someone playing the strongest 1v1 pvp class putting a beat down on someone playing the weakest 1v1 pvp class (for example) represents a 'showcase' of personal skill.

  11. OK. For a class with very little utility other than damage, the damage you bring to a WZ IS actually pretty important. But I think we are off topic. I was trying to use this as a very loose, anecdotal metric for comparing arsenal vs pyro performance in 1v1 vs an environment involving more people in PVP. Not sure how 'epeens' got involved here:rolleyes:
  12. A lot of my experience 1 vs 1 is with an arsenal spec player I duel. He just does more damage faster than me and will almost always win. However, in WZs I almost always out damage him and have a higher kill counts. I am not sure that your pyro is less squishy than your arsenal. I think it is probably you are just a target less often because of your mobility. Having to stay in one place and commit to attacks is tough in PVP.
  13. Arsenal is awesome in PVP if you have healer support. A couple of arsenal spec players with a healer can dominate the middle in huttball for example. Pryo is a lot more run and gun and gives you more options if you are playing a WZ solo IMO. That being said pyro is not great 1 vs 1. I can not stand toe to toe with an arsenal spec player of equivalent gearing. I love the play style but it can be frustrating trying to burst down other players at times. I am 53 valor at the moment. Going to run with pyro until I am fully geared. See how it goes for a while then try arsenal and see how that goes.

  15. Crossing the line should count as a score as the announcer clearly explains. So I have np with getting pulled across into the spawn zone and instadeath but it should count as a score if you have the ball.

  17. Easy folks. Alaska is German I believe and English is not his first language. I played with him on Flurry in SWG and he was one of the better PVPers on the server. Anyhow, good to see you Alaska. What server you on? Lots of us on Helm of G. Babagunush here.
  18. Not entirely true. I have been in losing games of huttball down 5-0 with plenty of time left where the other team is farming medals. That is BS. If they can win they should win. I will always play the game all the way through and I do not have a problem losing. But when I see this happening I will quit. I don't appreciate having my time wasted.
  19. The flip side to this is beef up the replacements valor/awards. No reason that we should get dumped into a losing WZ for little gain and if we decide to bail be penalized as well.

In huttball cheating is encouraged...Just saying But what is more irritating to me is when I get dropped into huttball and we are down 5-0 with 7 min left and the team up 5-0 is just farming medals. To me that is BS because you are wasting everyones MF time. If you can win, you should win and go onto the next game.
  21. Nope I saw a 500K healer at over 500 heal points per second and a 400K healer in voidstar last night. I targeted the healer and sequenced my attacks right and could not get him below 50%. As to another poster who said L2P if you can not take a healer 1 on 1, as a pyro merc who knows my class (attack sequence, buffs etc.) I can tell you that there are plenty of healers I can absolutely not out DPS. No way, no how.

  23. Make faction change very difficult for the side with the lower population and very easy for the side with the higher population. This would help encourage server balance. OR... Only allow change to the lower population faction.
