  1. Two features which would go along way towards helping the performance and heat build (for systems with insufficient cooling). Frame Rate Limiter limits the applications frame rate to not exceed a specified value (This isn't VSYNC). Values of 30, 60 and 120 should suffice. Secondly and a option to reduce the disk file streaming by caching it in RAM would go a very long way for those with enough RAM, to severely limit the amount of data being read off the disk..
  2. You missed the point entirely. The idea is to reward the whole team, for collectively reaching set goals instead of rewarding pointlessness for individual players.
  3. The Hazards They should be deadly. In the lower levels and without many abilities to bypass their danger entirely, they posed a good stopping block or deadly trap for the unaware or a roadblock forcing players to wait risking being stopped, or go another route. But in the higher levels, with tons of HP, Armor and abilities to bypass the hazards entirely, they become a joke. They simply aren't scaling comparably to the gear. The Fire Pits should be close to, or be 1 shots if you get caught in one. Similarly the Acid Pits should quickly stack up DoTs for standing in the green goo. Ball Carring The carrier should have abilities which grants movement advantages disabled while carrying the ball, i.e. Force Speed, Leap ect. Opposite, players shouldn't be able to extricate or pull players holding the ball without the ball dropping to a nearby enemy, similar to a carrier death.
  4. That happens with any loading, planet or warzone. Seems to be a server thing/connection to server thing.
  5. MVP system Awarding bonuses/awards should never be left in the hands of the playerbase. It's either completely random, favoritism over players queuing together, or completely ignored. The medal system also doesn't lend itself to rewarding players appropriately and instead servea as incentive to game the system by maximizing gain regardless of performance in a warzone towards ensuring your team wins. Automatically Award MVP for each category, for example whomever has highest healing receives the MVP Healing award at the end of the match, award one for each team. Do the same for all the categories. Medal system The medal system should be more Team oriented instead of rewarding individual "performance". The medals could be reworked to encompass total eam contribution towards a common goal, giving incentive to diversify player participation in Warzones, instead of having players gaming the system for maximum self profit. Instead reward the whole team for their performance, not just the individual. The current medals could be reworked to fit the proposed system. X total combined healing done across the team X total combined damage done across the team X total number of killing blows from different players on the team X total number of enemies killed across the team X total number of defense points across the team X total number of "Killing a player in a one-on-one fight" X total number of protection across the team X total bombs planted x total bombs defused and so forth.
  6. There can't be a single player whom things this idiotic design should be left in game. We're going on 2 months + whatever time from beta and this is still in the game. It should have been nuked from the code the moment someone realized how *********** bad a design it is. It penalizes slow loading players, or players receiving the queue popup late and it just all around serves no purpose whatsoever.
  7. Will the 1.2 UI changes add the functionality to completely reskin the UI similar to what can be done with the EverQuest UIs? If not is this something the dev team is planing on adding?
  8. Have anyone checked what curve/DR Surge is being reduced to with 1.1.3?
  9. Unlikely, as his Armor rating won't match Khems without adjustments to his tank stance. What Bioware should do is revamp Xalek to be based around a Sorcerer Template instead or swap him out entirely for a different companion.

  11. I've run with a Merc healer a couple times now in the guild and have run through all the hardmodes. I'm a sorcerer for reference, and usually have an Assassin tank, but we've had a Powertech tank also, though they do seem to struggle a bit at times.   12. The False Emperor Jindo Krey encounter Completely buggy at times, ship never fires and Jindo doesn't Enrage, absolutely trivial encounter when it's not functioning. It has happened twice in two days now.
  13. I installed ImDisk and ran the batch file, worked right away so cheers for that. However I couldn't tell yah if I loaded any faster, certain planets are least are still horrible, Corellia being one of them. Fleet still hiccups otherwise I don't really have dramatic FPS issues, but the loading times are annoying.   15. 31/7/2 leaves you with 1 point in spare, there's not much point spending the points differently because you need 31 for the AoE heal.
  16. This is standard MMO Theme Park zone design. It's been like this for years with progressive quest hubs and quest dispensers aka NPCs.
  17. If anything, 1.1.1 felt more responsive to me. I'm honestly not seeing the issue in the video either.

  20. Also saw this today it happened on both the Ancient Pylons, the Infernal Council and Soa encounters.
  21. Eternity Vault, 8 man, Normal Gharj encounter First initial engagement on him, his script broke and he didn't Pounce or Frenzy until very late through the fight. Eventually he went Frenzy spawning the new island, which made us all run to it, only to have the island subsequently disappear dropping the whole raid in the lava causing a wipe.
  22. The Foundry, Hardmode AK-47's script is super buggy and prone to breaking if the DPS on him is too high. (Note: Script also bugs in normal mode super easy with high DPS). Intended design as we saw it: When he returns to the power core you have X seconds to smash the panels before he activates the power core and gains a buff that makes his attacks hit extremely hard. However even if you break the panels on the powercore in time, the powercore doesn't always lift up immediately releasing AK-47. This happened on the 2nd or 3rd powercore sequence usually. End result was he would always gain Power of the Core buff and wipe the group. The only way we found around this was just to ignore adds and burn through AK-47, forcing him to skip his powercore sequence, or reduce it to only happening once.
  23. It does in fact hit the canyon wall, it takes roughly 20% damage from this and drops the shields opening it for the impending Frigate barrage. The smaller fighters aren't the danger here however, it's the Frigate turrets they are by far the highest priority targets throughout the mission.
  24. Hopefully this will be possible when they revamp the UI to allow for customization/reskin.
  25. It would make more sense to have different AI companion templates in similar vein as to the customization for their appearances. These templates could come in the same flavor as the companions currently are setup up as. i.e. Ranged Tank, Melee Tank, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, Ranged Healer. Each pre-set would have a standard layout of abilities matching that Role and you could allow the player to swap the "role" and the associated AI behavior / skills with it similar to the way customization's are changed. The Primary/Secondary attributes would have to be tied to those Templates however, and you would have to gear up your companion differently were you to choose a different role. You would also need multiple of the same Template to cover the different primary attributes, and the different types of Tanks and Ranged DPS and Healers. STR Melee Tank, WP Melee Tank, Aim Ranged Tank, Cunning Ranged DPS, Aim Ranged DPS and so forth.
