This is part of the life cycle of most MMOs. From release to some point not long after you have fanboys screaming "GO BACK TO WOW BRO" on the forums all day. An undetermined amount of time later the forums are filled with people literally crying about how Blizzard ruined their game and stole all the players, how it's unfair, etc, etc, etc. You will hear things like "Blizzard ruined MMOs" a lot.

Global Agenda is NOTHING like Planetside. The only thing they have in common is that they are both online games with shooting. That being said, I think GA is a great game, I'm not knocking it at all.

Hey BREHS, this game is like totally awesome bro. The raids are like super challenging, not only do you have to fight bosses, but you have to like fight the bugs too! How many MMOs can say that?

Expecting a game in 2012 to have things like day/night cycles is a bit pretentious don't you think. Maybe 20 years from now we will have the technology to do something like that.

I think what you are saying is that only people who are completely terrible at video games are still enjoying TOR. Fair enough, I guess. You can clear EV/KP on nightmare in about 3-4 hours, so it has nothing to do with being hardcore. One night a week of raiding and you've cleared everything in the game? Too hardcore? Nope. TOR is too easy? Yup. I did the timed nightmare KP run last night and we didn't even break a sweat. It took us one hour to clear and you have to do it within 2. That's not hard. What is this crap? You could wipe on each boss like 4 times and still clear it within the time limit.. .

Here is a big spoiler. Every class story is pretty much the same. Somebody screws you over and then you spend 80 hours doing some random stuff to get "revenge", then you kill them and the story just abruptly ends. Bioware are masters of story though.

What game are you playing? Certainly not the same one as me. What story is there to end game content? We must kill a hutt because he has a funny hat? We must go free some ancient dude from his secret prison so we can kill him, because if we don't he might throw statues at people. Yup, cool story.

First of all, Blizzard patches way more often than every 6 months. Second, WoW isn't a giant turd that needs to be fixed every 3 minutes. The funny part is that 90% of whatever bioware writes in the patch notes isn't actually fixed. Almost every bug they have ever listed in the patch notes as being fixed is still in the game.

This game is crap, get over it. People level alts in MMOs to do end game content with, not to just say "hey I leveled an alt" and then put it on the shelf. Plenty of games have story and voice overs, I don't need to pay $15/month for that. To be quite honest the stories in TOR are quite bad anyway. They are all very predictable, bland, and static. It's cool though, have fun with your meaningless "choices", stupid companions who do nothing, etc, etc,etc. It's a story driven MMO BREH! Fail.

People who think TOR is good haven't done end game yet. I doubt any of the reviewers hit 50, let alone did any end game content. It's just like when they let the weekend testers onto the beta forums. Every thread made by a general tester was flooded by fanboy weekenders screaming "THERE ARE NO BUGS BRO, THIS GAME IS AMAZING. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT GO BACK TO WOW" and "THE DEVS ARE 3 BUILDS AHEAD OF THIS ONE". TOR reviews are a joke. At the end of the day it doesn't matter though. This game will fade into obscurity like most MMOs that came before it. Over hype and under deliver is the name of the game these days for the gaming industry it seems. Have fun with that.

Why do people keep saying crap like this? Leveling alts is not an MMO. I'd rather play through skyrim again than look at balmorra, taris, tatooine, alderaan, or quite frankly ANY planet in TOR. Leveling in this game is tedious, boring, and way too easy. Every bit of "new" story when you do your class quest is separated by how many hours of annoying and boring quests? Way too many. This game is not the game to level alts in. Go play a single player game for that. If Bioware thinks they can keep an MMO succesful by charging people 15/month to play a single player game they are out of their mind. This game tries to be a single player game and an MMO at the same time and just ends up sucking at both.
