  2. started a PT. will see how bad it is first though i'm not a fotm reroller, almost the opposite in fact. i rolled operative from day one, with little knowledge about how they would turn out. i didnt want to be anothing kiddie with a glowstick if i wanted fotm, i would just make a sorcerer. but that will never happen
  3. anyone you 'interact' with, besides teammates healing you, keeps you in combat. so if you get clipped by a death from above, or any of the splash dmg attacks (grenades mostly, and a lot of bounty hunter attacks), all those people are now holding you in combat sucks if you come across some skilled opponents too. they will throw a dot on you, or just auto attack you if they see you appear near them. to get stealth back, you have 4 options. die and respawn kill everyone that interacted with you cloaking screen run far enough away, or stop attacking/getting attacked for a long time. not sure which one triggers it, maybe a mixture of both. either way, you need to go at least 20-30secs to drop combat.

  7. yeah you have to CC people attacking you. operative doesnt have any defensive moves really, you just have to CC threats to survive

  10. Ok, obviously its not the player's fault, as much as i hate them. If spamming 1 attack is the optimal rotation, then the class needs an overhaul imho. The main issue i have is, how hypocritical bioware is. In an interview, of the their devs stated that abilities are balanced around 'difficulty or setup required' so, basically, hidden strike hits hard because it requires: stealth and behind target. the stealth part gives is an effective CD of, on average, 3mins. because against good players, its impossible to get restealths in combat. the only way to achieve stealth is to either kill everyone who interacted with you, or use vanish, or die. then we compare it to tracer missile, which requires: 30yd range, short cast, no CD, low resource cost, no positional requirement (lolautoface). so why does it hit so hard? theres no setup required. you just stand within 30yds of someone and mash that button as hard as you can. by their logic, it should hit for much, much less. after the Ops nerfs, it will probably hit harder. yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense....

  16. i agree, 2 is too few. i am constantly wasting them because i'm sitting on 1, casting injection and a 3rd procs from hots
  17. why? so you can do 5k dmg to someone then get kited until you die?
  18. started a powertech if its any good i will make the switch more permanently i would LOVE a ranged class, but mercs are so derp boring, and everyone and their mum is a sorcerer.
  19. I can honestly say I never experienced any bugs or difficulty with this quest. Maybe I picked the easier option? Was there an option to make the fight harder, or buggy?
  20. Vanguard is mostly melee or 10yd range. They have longer range on some things, but you cant really do much damage until you get in close.
  21. I was under the impression that Sneaky was a flat speed increase, and not tied to stealth. Which means it takes effect when in combat, but not stealthed, when sprint deactivates.
