Ok, obviously its not the player's fault, as much as i hate them. If spamming 1 attack is the optimal rotation, then the class needs an overhaul imho.
The main issue i have is, how hypocritical bioware is. In an interview, of the their devs stated that abilities are balanced around 'difficulty or setup required'
so, basically, hidden strike hits hard because it requires: stealth and behind target. the stealth part gives is an effective CD of, on average, 3mins. because against good players, its impossible to get restealths in combat. the only way to achieve stealth is to either kill everyone who interacted with you, or use vanish, or die.
then we compare it to tracer missile, which requires: 30yd range, short cast, no CD, low resource cost, no positional requirement (lolautoface). so why does it hit so hard? theres no setup required. you just stand within 30yds of someone and mash that button as hard as you can. by their logic, it should hit for much, much less.
after the Ops nerfs, it will probably hit harder.
yeah, that makes a whole lot of sense....
