Yes I know the Vanguard is more melee range. Just wondering the opinions on any of the 3 classes.

I am currently having a problem deciding which class I want to play. I believe I have narrowed it down to Commando and Shadow. Ive tried numerous classes and these are the 2 I always come back to. They are both level 24 now. Just to know what im looking to do: I like to PvE raid but im also a pretty big into PvP. My question is what class out of these 2 would be better for what I want to do (Main PvE with a big focus in PvP as well) I enjoy the melee of the Shadow, it feels more engaging to me. I enjoy the Commando for the big gun. The range doesnt feel quite as engaging but it gets the job done specially in PvP. Also one of the only classes I had not tried that ive been interested in is the Vanguard. How would the vanguard stack up with these 2 classes. Would I be better off doing a Vanguard for their mix of melee/range capabilities? To sum it up: Commando,Shadow, or Vanguard

I have a level 24 Shadow and a 14 Sent. For low level pvp I muchhhh prefer the shadow. In my experience I just get focus fired wayy to fast as the Sentinel. The Shadows stealth helps a great ton in low level pvp. I am getting ready to start a Vanguard to see how it stacks up against the Shadow. Ive heard good think about them and the mixture of range/melee seems like it could be very entertaining/interesting. Edit: That being said. If you plan on grouping up for pvp 100% of the time Sentinel could very well be your choice. I found when im in a WZ where people actually know what they are doing Sentinel can be very rewarding.

Was kinda interested in trying out a Shadow or Vanguard any thoughts on these 2 classes?

I actually have a 24 commando atm and once I got Grav round it just started to become mind numbling boring to play. I prefer to play a class with some complexity, knowing im working for my kills.

Forgot to mention I play Republic. Any other opinions on this?

Any opinions what class does relatively well for someone who likes to pvp alot while leveling. 95% Solo Que due to playing wierd hours. Ive got a couple of classes to to about level 20 just wondering what everyone thinks would be a decent solo que class. Thanks!

From what I have seen its a mixture of some people dont like/want to learn the cover system and the other half dont want to put in the extra skill needed to be effective when you can faceroll a Sorc/Sage or Commando/Merc
