  2. lmao look at the gear discrepancies in that video he doesnt even bother kicking the tracer missile spam because its not even making a dent in his health. the BH chains 4-5 missiles in a row and the dude is still at 95% this is what happens when you're full BM after 1 week because you level capped before early access even finished and then abused ilum to rank up. thats not an accurate representation of the actual game
  3. currently rerolling a GS melee just get *********** owned in WZs. its a *********** sorcerer/sage fest. they all camp up on the bridges and **** and if you try to attack you they just wtfpunt you off every time. i am rerolling to a ranged class. but i refuse to play the scrubtasticness that is sorcerer or mercenary if only bioware made this game equal. or at least made some ranged classes that arent total cheese tbh i dont know if i have the energy to level to 50 again. most likely just let the sub run out.
  4. operative is completely terrible as a pvp healer. most people will run a healing/dps hybrid. because you cant play as a 'defensive' healer on an operative. you dont have the tools to sit back and out heal or survive being attacked. you have to get up in their faces and attack and stun etc you have shield probe. which is basically like static barrier, except it absorbs about half as much, with CD thats 4x longer, and you cant put it on other people. you get hots. first one is nice as a proactive heal. but you cant rely on it to heal through an attack, because it ticks too slow and for too little. you still keep it up on whoever when you have time to refresh/apply, because it can proc TAs for you and top people off. second one doesnt really work in pvp, and i see more and more people not even speccing it. its hugely expensive if you cant get it to tick on more than 1-2 people. which almost never happens in pvp. injection in your bread and butter. it heals a good amount, and it gives TA. surgical probe is what you will be spending your TAs on (apart from keeping stim up). costs no energy, is instant, only uses a TA. infusion looks good at a glance, but in practice its kinda worthless. the cast is not so much faster than injection to justify the huge cost. infusion costs energy, AND TA, AND has a cast time. without speccing deep concealment, vanish removes you ability to heal or recieve heals for 5(?) secs. sometimes it saves your life, but it puts you out of action for a while. if people are focusing you, you best options are to stand there and cast, and pray they dont know how to interrupt. or, stun/flashbang and leg it
  5. actually, only scrapper/concealment is full blown melee and even then, you can pump out some decent dmg from range. and at lvl 28, you are far from getting the 2 abilities that makes your melee really hurt lethality/(repub version) only has to be in melee every 6ish secs at best
  6. blows this **** out of the water if i had to choose between raiding DS for another 9 months or getting facerolled by sorcerers in WZs all day. i'd pick DS in a heartbeat
  7. just cancelled cant take it anymore my class has been nerfed so many times i am no longer wanted for raids, WZs or FPs. its easier just to take another merc or sorc. played for just over 2 hours tonight and couldnt even finish the daily WZ quest. every team was a premade or cheating (7v9) my guild is also dead. i didnt see anyone log on the whole time i was online.
  8. bioware doesnt know how to make an MMO $300m and all we got was a singleplayer game with tacky online grouping functions
  9. have you played an Op? more than 1 person attacking you at a time means you die in about 2 globals even 1v1 you take a dirt nap super quick against some classes just earlier today, i got jumped by a juggernaut (broken stealth, spotted me from about 15m). 600expertise, which is about 11.5%, and i'm at 25% before i can even fight back. trinket was on CD from an earlier fight, and i just sit there watching my health drop while all my keys are greyed out. operatives need HUGE defensive buffs if they're to remain competitive.
  10. dont get me wrong, i destroy bad players in WZs its not fun. its not complicated or hard. stealthing around mid looking for easy 1v1s is not good play. it doesnt help the team

  13. over the last 33 WZs at lvl 50 i have participated in, inquisitors/JCs have outnumbered IAs/Smugs by 3 to 1. of the IAs/Smugs that i've encountered, a lot less than half were actually scoundral/operative AC. theres no doubt the AC is dying out. they have no defence to speak of. no choice when focused other than to die in about 2 secs flat. they have no utility, no mobility. they bring nothing to a WZ to aid the objectives. they cant even carry the ball because of how fast and easy they die. they cant catch people that leap or sprint through fire. they cant guard or taunt to reduce dmg on friendly carriers also note, the above statistics are actually skewed towards SC/OP, because i am one, and i count myself every time. to make matters worse, stealth is broken. something in the last patch made it even worse. its now impossible to go within about 10m of an enemy without sneak up, without being spotted. you cant drop combat. the dropping combat timer is completely random, and sometimes takes forever. concealment is a 1 trick pony. the only players that you can kill are those with no gear or no clue. anyone can leave your melee range with ease, you have no way of closing the gap. no ranged dmg apart from a dot that ticks for about 150 and autoshot (the free one). lethality requires so much ramp up time, you rarely get to the point where you can cull. half the abilities are ranged, half are melee. the spec doesnt know what its supposed to be. dots are easily wiped, and what pathetic dmg you had is now even less.
  14. lmao cos leaping 50 billion metres over fire is not complete ******** but stealth is play a stealth class stealth mechanics are ****ed up. you can drop combat. you can tell how big aoes are. the animation doesnt match the size. every class has multiple aoes and pointless splash dmg that constantly knocks you out

    the amount of CC in this game is ridiculous resolve does jack **** trinketing anything just lands you in another full length CC its impossible to stay on anything longer than 2 secs without some ******** stun or knockback or root. half of them are aoe or not even aimed. unfortunately, i now rate stwor pvp below WoW's. and WoW's is *********** terrible
  16. operative is a 1 trick pony sneak sneak sneak. find someone squishy. boom, open on them. if they're bad, they will panic and probably die. if they're good, they will just use a couple of CCs and get away then kill you. thats about it really. pve dps is lackluster healing is inferior to other healing specs
  17. same if you stop moving it helps sometimes. i think its something to do with server lag, like if i'm running around/through someone it doesnt work that often
  18. we dont care about ****** 0 expertise baddies in pug WZs we dont care about easymode EV
  19. fyp with 10 billion sorcerers, there are a lot of bad ones. a GOOD sorcerer will chew you up and spit you out, no trouble
  20. ranged classes are stronger. more dmg, more cc, better defence + and the maps are heavily ranged friendly = melee get shat on most of the time.
  21. stopped reading come back when you play a proper class you perspective is skewed
  22. hurts some classes more than others some classes rely on the crit/burst, some dont
