  1. This just happened to me as well. I tried relogging, tried exiting the mission and returning - nothing. It's driving me bonkers. Anyone have an idea?
  2. 8/10. Starts off a little slow (not that that's a bad thing) and I love the Spanish guitar throughout the song. This is my favorite to listen to during a raid, especially during a particularly grueling boss fight.
  3. Holy crap, those are some impressive numbers.
  4. I say play the "worst" stories first, so you don't have a bad taste in your mouth with nothing to wash it out. Of course, worst is subjective so I'll list these from what I found to be the most enjoyable to the least, the top being most enjoyable and progressing downward and all that. Also keep in mind that I haven't played all of the storylines so I'll be leaving some classes out. Sith Warrior - Neato story with lots of revenge, typical Sith storyline, but it's satisfying. (I played as a dark sider, I hear light side has some really interesting things pop up). Agent - Really neat if you enjoy plots and schemes out the wazzoo. There's some twists and turns and, while some are predictable and some aren't, it's still really fun to see all the schemes unfold. Bounty Hunter - It's exactly what you expect, but it's still pretty fun. You feel pretty ****** tackling down tougher and tougher bounties. There's not really much depth story-wise (until Act 3, at least), but as bounty hunter, you don't really need depth. Jedi Knight - This one was pretty neat and I understand now why a lot of people refer to it as KotOR III; classic Jedi hero story about saving the galaxy. It's predictable, but still enjoyable. Sith Inquisitor - Another story about Sith revenge, but this has a lot more scheming in it, as opposed to the Warrior's barbarian-esque tactics.
  5. I'd kill to be an assassin droid. ...no pun intended.
  6. Hey all, I'm wondering what your opinions are on the Consular's story. I'm contemplating rolling a Consular but I'd like to know if the story is dull or boring or neato and whatnot. I have a Sorcerer and I was thinking about making an Assassin, but since I haven't played a Sage, I was wondering about the story. Opinions on it?
  7. I'm in the same dilemma but this breakdown helped out a bunch. Thanks!
  8. Just get one or two gunships up and focus fire on the bombers, easy peasy. Smack them with a slug round and then a plasma round and lol as they warp away. Even if it doesn't kill them, the sheer w t f factor from them can cause them to slip up. Unless they fully know what they're doing, then just keep smacking them in the face with slug rounds until they explode.
  9. I'm generic, I usually just listen to Star Wars soundtracks, hurr hurr. The Hoth battle soundtrack is pretty amazing during GSF.
  10. Well when Starcraft is the national sport for your country, I bet you're bound to have some crazy keyboard skills.
  11. The same happening to me and it sucks hardcore. I just sort of dealt with it but it's still a problem I have. I pre-ordered the game as well, my character was created during the headstart with his name and until the server migration from Lord Adraas to The Ebon Hawk I had the name, but someone on the Ebon Hawk had my name also so I had to switch it. The name I had for my Sith Juggernaught was Mortalitas, this was a character I created way back for my Star Wars RPG group so this guy already has background lore and whatnot, so it's important to me. I switched it to Vectivas, another character that I have, and I was able to deal with it but to me Vectivas and Mortalitas are two completely separate characters. My Juggernaught is still refered to Mortalitas in lore and whatnot but only in game is he referred to as Vectivas and it bothers the crap out of me. Not only that, but I friended the Mortalitas on the Ebon Hawk server, just to see who "stole" my name, and never have I seen him/her online. So my character's name, which has already been established in the lore me and my friends have created in our take of the Star Wars universe, has been taken by someone who hasn't been on in months. In the 1.5 patch notes, it states about guilds; "The names of guilds that are inactive (any guild that has had no members log in for 8 weeks) will now be released for use by new guilds." This would be great to have for characters and whatnot. I don't know how it'd work, but it'd be awesome to have a feature like this for character names if someone hasn't logged into that character, or that account in a while and has taken a name that you want. Obviously more details would have to be hashed out, but it's a neat concept, I think at least.
  12. 1) I honestly don't care either way. Cathar look kind of weird in here, and I'm not a huge fan of Aric Jorgan (I think that's his name) but I don't dislike the Cathar. 2) ^ what I said above 3) Some species I'd love to see; Mon Calamari, Nautolan, Arkanian (maybe an off-shoot, like Jarael), Rodian, Devaronian (I'd kill for a Devaronian Smuggler) and my favorite race; Zeltron. I'd kill even harder for any mention of a Zeltron. 4) I think they are a bit too Republic-aligned, but it wouldn't be impossible for some Cathar to defected/have been indoctrinated from birth for the Empire. 5) I didn't see much of a problem with it when all the other species were released. Sure, I was disappointed that there weren't any Wookies, but I wasn't broken up about it.
  13. I think the community has spoken; we demand chat bubbles. Come on BW, it's not that taxing! Maybe just a day of writing code or something, that's all (I don't know how it works)! It can be implemented in a hotfix!
  14. I want any sort of player housing; instanced, open landscape (I'd prefer open landscape, but I'll gladly take instanced if it means we get housing), preferably with the option of displaying trophies and armor/weapons, like in SWG. I understand it'd be ridiculously hard and time-consuming to give everything a model like in SWG, but I can dream, right?
  15. I like both ideas, but as cool as sitting in any chair would be I think we need chat bubbles much more (if it comes to one or the other). I'm so freaking tired of having to scroll through huge spams of chat on the Fleet just to find someone I've been talking with, instead of a convenient chat bubble popping over them >< I'm still a little mad at BW for not including this at launch, but if it goes through soon all shall be forgotten.
  16. I'd freaking kill if my PT could use a blaster carbine, like Boba Fett. Even though PT plays awesome, I always feel gimped just using one small dinky little pistol. Also, Smuggler with the blaster cannon, that'd be awesome... dunno how it'd work, but still be awesome.
  17. I can't even understand what he's saying.
  18. So the new RaF mount reward is cool, but I've already referred my one friend who's interested in the game (all my other friend's aren't gamers, bah) before the reward system was announced, and I don't think he's subscribed yet; just used the 14 days. So anyway, my question is even though I sent the trial his way before the RaF system was enacted, am I still eligible for the mount when he subscribes or do I have to refer another friend?
  19. This would be a neat idea. I dunno how it would be implemented, but it'd be cool. My main hasn't joined a guild and I've had him since launch, and I've barely played him since he hit 50 because I don't have a guild to do stuff with. That's when people would tell me to stop QQing and join a guild, but RL doesn't permit me to do so. I'd like to give a good guild, with the possibility of becoming good friends, the time they deserve and I simply wouldn't be able to do that. So basically that character is collecting dust.
  20. I say something like this on every doom and gloom thread; give it time. People want everything handed them -right this second- on a silver platter. MMOs take time. As much as people like to complain about it, WoW is a good example of how to succeed in an MMO. And remember, WoW has been out since, what, 2004, 2005? IT TAKES TIME to make a good MMO. BioWare made a pretty darn good MMO their first attempt. IT TAKES TIME to make a good MMO great. TOR isn't great right now, but BW is trying their best to make it great. Let me reiterate. IT. TAKES. TIME.
  21. If they don't want to implement something like the SWG housing where planets become littered with houses and all that (I personally loved it), they should give us "apartments" or something, like say on Coruscant for Republic, you can buy an apartment, which could be reminiscent of the housing blocks on Taris in KoTOR. Maybe even have an instanced "neighborhood" like in LotRO. Have Coruscant apartments for Republic.. uhh.. DK apartments for Empire? I dunno, that wouldn't make much sense since DK isn't a city planet like Coruscant. Think that one over. And then maybe have neutral apartments on Nar Shaddaa or something. Anyway, just thinking aloud. Oh, and of course have the housing editor like in SWG, where you can take anything from your item and place it anywhere and all that, that'd be awesome.
  22. It's basically just a fun credit dump. "Hrm, I have a buttload of credits but nothing to buy.. Ooh, rocket boots! Sweet."
  23. Haha, "as a part of Game Update 1.2, you will be able to assume direct control over your Droid" I love you, BioWare.
  24. Bye, have fun, you won't be missed!
  25. "Objection: Master, to commit such an act would be in violation of the ethics programming most droids are believed to possess." - HK-50, KotOR II "Mockery: Oh, Master, I do not trust you! I cannot trust you, or anyone else ever again!" - HK-47, KoTOR "Explanation: It's just that... you have all these squishy parts, master. And all that water! How the constant sloshing doesn't drive you mad, I have no idea." HK-47, KoTOR Ahhh, I love me some HK.
