  1. Yeah, ok. Wrong day to talk about this. Here I'lll help: I don't like how they did customization. There. Now how about fleet based housing?
  2. Since BW is working on space perhaps they might consider introducing housing there. The attraction of housing such as it is known from other MMO's (which shall not be named) is the ways it allows new ways of having fun in SWTOR. For role-playing and socializing, for players to personalize their characters, to increase immersion and craft complex personas which they grow attached to and are increasingly willing to invest in. Plenty of threads speak to the desire for housing, and not all of it has to be repeated here. Idea 1: Player Ships Allow customization/decoration of player ships. Allow a large (unlimited?) number of visitors to come on-board (for parties, role-playing, for buying crafted items off personal vendors/lock boxes, etc) Idea 2: Fleet Quarters Introduce a residential station to each fleet (Imp and Rep), reachable directly with player ships or via fleet shuttle, where players can have quarters. These quarters can be customized by owners/administrators and visited by other players. What do you think EAWare. I think there is lots of $$$ to be made here, while you would certainly be pandering to a large crowd of housing fans . Please feel free to expand on these ideas here (if you don't like it, please start your own 'I don't like it' thread). MTFBWY
  3. Yikes, When I complained about this mission being too difficult I didn't really think I'd get 18,000+ views. Folks on this forum really do like to flock to complainers huh? If you're up for it, I have another thread I would love to get some views on! Perhaps that will lure the BW folks there as well. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=452555 Cheers Mandalin
  4. I see. How about the recent comment by Musco (I think) on the 25-limit of our mission log? Would turning-off the mission log entirely not help? Cheers Mandalin
  5. When I want to speed up my browser, I can turn off active addons to achieve this. Would this be a viable way to deal with lag and generally speed things up a bit in SWTOR? I imagine something not unlike configuring your graphics settings, but in this case would involve turning game features on or off. If something like this is possible, perhaps a way to do it is to use 'game style templates' that could be turned on/off: PVP or PVE, Class Story or Combat Events (FP, Ops, etc), Exploring and Mining, Crafting and Sales, etc. The envisioned tool could provide game style templates as well as a way to customize a template. So in short, would turning game features on or off help increase speed overall? Cheers Mandalin
  6. So wouldn't it be great if through the seeker droid mechanic, we could find loot not obtainable otherwise. So instead of having us find the same type of stuff we currently also obtain through combat-centered looting, how about unique items. Please use this thread to make suggestions. I'll start: Funny non-moddable clothes such as hats or backpacks (that way moddable stuff can still be sold in the cartel store) Consumable-with-timer sound and light effects for weapons Consumable-with-timer sound and light effects for speeders Consumable-with-timer body effects such as colored vapor or flies Consumable-with-timer disease such as a sneezing cold or something more like the plague affecting the character
  7. Devs, please either make sure the seeker droid find spots are land-based or raise the circular indicator so that we can see it while standing in water. Currently, when the indicator is telling me to go in the water I basically loose the ability to see where it is pointing me. Thanks
  8. I loved getting on the road again with my companions. Fun story line, new planet to explore, new mechanics (binos and seeker droid), etc. The disappointment came upon completing the main story arc. I disposed of the Archon, helped the imps get hold of Makeb, etc. What do I get? A chip with a few factional standing points and a green shirt. That's it. I had to go through quite a lot, especially towards the end there. Quite disappointing. Especially since the standing points were a drop in the bucket when you consider how many I will need to get anything interesting at the GSI vendor. Then off to do the binocular quest which is great fun and fine to do solo. Then, can't complete it because its ending is an Heroic 4. Then off to do the seeker droid quest which is great fun and fine to do solo. Then, can't complete it because its ending is an Heroic 4. I think it is great that there is content for all sorts of levels in SWTOR, but when you mix it in the same story arc, it becomes very hard for someone who has a particular gaming style to complete content. I tried to find people to help, no bites. Surprising how few people can be about right after an expansion. Finally I got a group going but the fight was so specialized (impossible to do without a top level healer) that we just couldn't manage it. This already happened for the HK droid quest. I found all the parts except the last two that are found in Operations. I don't do operations, never have. I don't have time slots long enough to play them, plus I'll never be of much help to others as I have little expertise for group play. I love SWTOR PVE solo. I am quite social, just not in combat. So here I am with two Makeb story arcs unfinished, like the HK one, and I'll likely not complete them at all. Not sure how to grade you on this one BW. Thanks for the added content but it left me unfulfilled.
  9. Its terrible. It keeps throwing me. My internet connection is fine. What gives?
  10. Anyone else having problems? Also, when I attempted to log in to the website, i had trouble with my security key as well.
  11. I'm almost level 53 and simply cannot get it done. Too often none of my abilities execute so I can't keep the refueling bots off the slug. Is this not a one-person mission?
  12. I am unsure why they cannot have NPC spawns pop up from time to time to make it look like there is actually a war going on in the galaxy, with raids into enemy territory. Home planets, space stations ... somewhere where its a surprise - e.g. players can't get to a bank, GTN, or temple and are required to 'answer the call' and work together to get rid off the menace!
  13. No it can't be turned off, but, make it max transparent then move it behind the quickbar. I did this and cannot see it at all. When I tried to move it behind the minimap it stayed on top.
  14. I am following Dulfy's guide and it reads to buy the Wrapped HK Transistor from a vendor on Tatooine for 125k. Is this really the only way? To spend my hard earned credits? Can this not also be excavated? Thanks
