  1. Thank you, Joveth, for replying and confirming what's going on. I hope Bioware will continue with this level of open communication in the future on all fronts.
  2. It wasn't ahead of its time, it's just that it wasn't WoW so no one took up where the DAoC team left off, unfortunately.
  3. I've played vanguard with a sentinel buddy. If you don't also have dedicated heals, you are both dead, but can do pretty well until you die (e.g. kill x and die to the next). If you want a nice duo, both play sage or scoundrel or commando (both dps in any case)
  4. Also not true -- lost a VS where we were the only side with healers at all...
  5. Nope. I've done VS where we out killed the opponent by 4:1 margin and still lost the tie.
  6. Just like everything else in this game... rand(100) > 49
  7. It is really, really sad to see Bioware blatantly ignoring the successes and mistakes made in past games in favor of what one guy thinks will work... World's best pvp designer my you-know-what...
  8. Hopefully, by then Bioware will have realized that forcing people to play warzones they hate is bad for business, and will allow people not to queue for warzones they don't like without the nonsensical attachment to cross-server queuing. Yes, we realize that by not queuing for a certain warzone, we will face longer queue times. We are fine with that and it should be our choice to make that decision. As it stands now (not allowing us to choose which wz's we queue for, not telling us what the wz is before we enter), you're going to penalize me for leaving a warzone that I'm not having fun in for whatever reason without giving me the choice to avoid the warzones I don't like. Sound like a good business practice? I'm never going to like huttball. It has nothing to do with my skill level and everything to do with the warzone itself. I don't like it. I shouldn't have to play it. If you think you should have the right to force me to play it... well, I guess there are other games for me to spend money on. I might also add that, as long as you continue to match a lvl 46 player with 5 lvl 11-13 players and the start the match against a full team of lvl 45+ opponents, you should not penalize me for leaving. Your matchmaking system needs a MAJOR REDESIGN before you start penalizing people for leaving. Frankly, I'm getting sick of having to queue and leave 13 huttballs (interrupting what I'm doing) to get a single fun warzone. Just let me spend that time uninterrupted until a warzone I like pops... I hate to say it, but you guys clearly do not know what is best for me and should stop thinking you do.
  9. Your analyses ignores the other major form of CC -- charge / gap closers.
  10. Ah... 31/31/31/31 Arsenal That is a ****** spec.
  11. I have a sage one on server and a sorc on another. What I like to do is log both on at the same time, and then dominate 2 servers while I watch tv in the other room.
  12. DAoC used NetImmersion initially then "upgraded" to Gambryo with ToA. War used Gamebryo HERO's big claims to fame are: 1) it makes it easy to do collaborative development (e.g. over the internet) 2) they can host everything, including CS and billing 3) HORRIBLE FPS and performance
  13. This, plus possibly stop rewarding the zerg side while disincentivizing the underpop'd side in pvp?
  14. This. Please pay attention BW. Hotfix this asap.
  15. Then just make the gear the same...
  16. Uh, pvp gear exists because of pve... True pvp'ers don't want pvp stat gear, or a gear grind.
  17. Sure, you could, but can you be sure the other people playing will know what you mean? No.
  18. Um, no. Sages have the exact same amount of cc as sorcs. Even the spec's are the same...
  19. Kjetl

    How to fix resolve

Just scrap resolve and put in diminishing returns on CC...
  20. Wow. You are really bad. I see you spamming tracer missile in the near future.
  21. Ah I see. Still funny, in either bracket
