  1. Hmm. The Blackhole Implant I'm talking about was dropped by the Nightmare Pilgrim, and wasn't purchased with commendations. Maybe not all the Mk-Xs can be REd?
  2. Umm... No? As it stands, once you're clearing hard mode it should only take you about 6 weeks to fully gear up. For Explosive Conflict... With 8 people in the raid, there are 2 class neutral tokens drop per boss. There are 4 bosses, so you should be able to get 8 tokens per week. This is only for like 6-7 slots or so, isn't it? It will already only take you a month and a half or so to completely gear your raid. You want it to take 3 weeks instead?
  3. No. You can only get orange shells for REing *modable* purple tier 2 gear. Unmoddable stuff, like belts, bracers, and implants, result in a schematic for the *actual* item. =) I know of at least one Black Hole implant that was successfully REd to acquire a schematic on the public test server.
  4. My guildmaster asked one of the Bioware reps about this when he was at PAX East (specifically because I asked him to in reagrds to the ship GTN). It wasn't in the official Q&A, so take it for what you will. According to him, they plan on eventually merging to a single GTN per server. Sorry I have no way of citing this, as it was a small Q&A. I wouldn't believe me if I were reading this post, but I thought I would pass it along none the less.
  5. Don't buy the repair droid. Or, pool together and have one person buy it for the million credits. You can join their group, visit their ship and buy the sensor probes (100k each) that you need from *their* droid. They are bind to legacy so you can buy all the ones you need and mail them to any alts you like. Note: This is probably not intended behavior.
  6. Well, if you're a synthweaver yes. There are other threads around that list what the sensors do. You should search for them. Also, you don't need to buy the repair droid. Find a friend who bought it, have them invite you to a group, go on their ship, and purchase it from theirs. The sensors are bind to legacy, so even if you have multiple characters, just buy all the ones you want and mail them to your alts. They are 100k each.
  7. 1) There's a talent that gets you +9% cunning in Sawbones. 2) Exotech Stim is 128+9% = 140 cunning if it rounds up. 3) One class buff (knight or consular forget) is +5% all stats. 4) Full Rakata.. also, not all mods are created equal. In a single set you might find some mods that are heavier on cunning than on endurance, and some that are the reverse. Mixing and matching these can help this. 5) Now, with augments slots you can have a bunch of +18 cunning augments. With an Exotech cunning stim and all class buff, I am currently sitting at 2145 cunning. I forget crit rate, but I have ~350 points in crit), and my surge is a bit low at 72%. I still need to move a few points from crit to surge. That takes into account all of the above, and I believe ... 7 augment slots so I keep the 2 piece bonus. (2x implants, 1x ear, weapon, 3x orange = 7) Would be more if you wandered around crew skills to get crit Rakata Relics, Bracers, etc.. a lot easier now since data cubes are for sale and relatively cheap.
  8. Sorry, but he is correct. While PVP oranges are available from the vendor, the PVE oranges require RE to get a shell. This only applies to the Campaign gear.
  9. "You CANNOT RE any item modification from endgame Raid/PvP gear" I think this is wrong. You can in fact RE any post 1.2 endgame item modification *IF* it does not carry the set bonus. I.e., Campaign/Blackhole Hilts, Barrels, Enhancements, and Mods and Blackhole Armoring. I think the only ones you can't are the Campaign Armorings, since the set bonus is attached. (EDIT #2: I think this was covered in one of the recent Q&As) Also, endgame raid gear that is not modifiable.. I.e., Implants, Belts, and Bracers can be REd to get a schematic for the actual item, and not jsut an orange shell. I know 100% for sure about Blackhole Implants, since I've seen it done. I'm not 100% sure on the others, but that's what's been stated. So, BiS implants, Bracers, and Belts (Earpieces too?) will actually be crit-crafted PURPLES learned from REing endgame gear. Though, honestly, I assume these won't be common.. well.. err... ever. EDIT: Sorry, I forgot to say otherwise it's a fair nice guide, rather than just pointing out what's wrong, heh. =)
  10. Sweet! Yours lasts for 16 seconds? Mine only lasts for 12! It actually does have some other, minor advantages. 1) It looks awesome. 2) It has 0 casting time. 3) If you start rocket boost and enter a vehicle-prohibited area, you will see the dismount warning and be visually dismounted. However, you will actually keep the rocket boost affect and the speed bonus for the entire 12 seconds. I already /bug'd it, so use it while it lasts =) I'm actually pretty happy to have it just for all my bank alts that I need to run back and forth from GTN to bank (although with guild banks it's closer now).
  11. Just FYI, bought one of these, and don't have time to put up a screenshot, but they look awesome. Way better than the lower level orange. It's pretty large, too. Looks like you're one-handing a small automatic weapon.
  12. Fully Rakata equipped, few augments, fully buffed, with a rakata cunning stim, and popping power adrenal + power relic, the max crit I've seen is about 6800 post 1.2 (without inspiration). My cunning is 2127 when buffed with also 72% crit multiplier. This pretty darn close to pre-1.2. Without class buffs, I also get numbers around 5.8k.
  13. It still crits for at max almost 1k for me, but I'm in full rakata with a couple augments. It used to crit for 1k + the extra heal. I think prior to 1.2 it would heal for the untalented amount, and then an additional amount for the talent. The displayed heals (double) were correct before, since I checked it with a friend because it turned out Triage was one of our most energy efficient heals (oops!) and nice since it's an instant. Seems they just finally fixed it.
  14. The tooltip still says we should not be able to heal or be healed for 10 seconds.
  15. I have all 4 class buffs and the same Rakata stim I use in ops. Maybe when I forgot to apply them. I'll check again.
  16. Alas.. On my server Imperial prices were way higher than on the Republic side. Shuttling things over with a friend made for enormous profits. Some 25 Enhancements and Mods sold easily for 900k on Imp side when we were laughed at trying to get 500k on our side. Also, I think 4 of the 'top 5' raiding guilds on our server are Imperial, so that' probably has a lot to do with it.
  17. I think they said the pre-1.2 rate was 4%, if I rememebr correctly.
  18. There is something very wrong with these dummies. I, as a Sawbones Scoundrel very often toss white damage on bosses when I don't need to heal. I don't track the numbers closely, but the white numbers flying off the dummy feel at least 20% less than those that fly off of any op boss, including those in Explosive Conflict..
  19. Yeah, I noticed that as well. I was surprised. It's a welcome change, since it happened when I did it on accident (butter fingers).
  20. Hello! Welcome to the 'I'm a statistical outlier' support group! =)
  21. Well, a friend of mine and I duo'd the republic side with companions, and it was quite tough. We are both in full Rakata healers (Sorc+Scoundrel) with dps companions in full Columi. The trash pulls weren't an issue with cc, but the boss hits pretty hard. Had to heal quite a bit. How many heroic moment abilities do you have? If you ahve like 8 level 50s, then that encounter, according to bioware, should be easy for you. =)
  22. What? It does the *exact* opposite of bring credits into the game. Missions = Desirable --> Market for Missions on GTN (6% commission-->credits leaving) Running Mission (costs credits) --> credits leaving the economy Materials from Mission --> Crafting or GTN --> eventual GTN commision -->credits leaving They have said their desires are to keep inflation in check, and stimulate the end game economy. This change does the opposite in both arenas.
