According to ToRHead and AskMrRobot there is no 1.2 orange vibroknife schematic. There are the older ones that you can buy from the trainer that require the higher rank crafting materials, though.

These are the best weapons there are right now and you most definitely want to move your mods to it and add an augment. The tech power I believe is based off of the rating on the barrel, but I am not 100% sure about which mod it is based on. I am 100% sure that the tech power does scale though, so it will go up with your mods in it.

I understand that there are two versions of each weapon: custom-made (lvl 20) and elegant modified (lvl 50). My question is pertaining directly to the (supposedly) lvl 50 blaster because the links I posted at the top show the lvl 50 blaster as only requiring rank 2 materials to make, whereas all of the other elegant modified (lvl 50) weapons require rank 6 materials and are found through rank 6 investigation missions. So i am wondering if the lvl 50 blaster is indeed found though rank 6 missions like the others or if it for some reason is from rank 2 missions based on the links.

Does anyone have this, and can you confirm whether it came from a rank 6 or rank 2 investigation? I am just wondering because I have gotten several custom-made and elegant modified schematics, but I looked this one up online and it appears as though you only need armstech 100 to make the elgant blaster pistol, not 400 like the others.
