  1. You may be serious, but you may need to be more patient. People may still be looking for them. I had a few new green ones on my Synth trainer, but I am guessing you checked yours?
  2. I am wondering if instead of rolling to the next recipe when you know what it wants to give you, like it is supposed to do, it is instead failing, but.. I sure hope not. I am just glad not to see the "You already have this recipe" which DID mean RE was broke.
  3. I kinda like it.. my rock is sitting there.. then it zooms and is followed by a bunch of pebbles.. kinda like a meteor and its meteorites.
  4. Come on guys.. you know they make it so ugly because they want you to destroy it to extract the mods with the new system and stick it in your level 10 orange robes you like so much.
  5. When you get your lady Nadia Grell, she has a Synthweaving bonus. Why on the last companion for a light armor wearer, I have no idea, but I just saw it today.
  6. Personally, I would love to RE ALL my orange gear for my Shadow Synthweaver and get Schematics. Its light Will based stuff, so he can wear it. Then I could clear out the 5 sets I have in my bank and make a different set when I am in the mood for a change. If the gear was Bind to Account, I would take some of the other gear and have an alt RE for me and craft when I felt like a change. Schematics take up no space after you learn them.
  7. Yeah, the grey gift missions seem to net me two or more schematics daily. Also, the level 1 green gifts sell for excellently for 275 creds per in the GTN, the level 2 greens for 675. This price is 25 credits below what you buy those levels from a merchant. All resulting from missions for under 100 and 500 credits. Plus, they are great missions to send your companion on while on loading screens arriving or leaving a planet. Umm.. I NEVER send them on missions while I am PVEing and am now at 400/400 on all three on my main. At least they are supposed to fix the interferance when 1.2 comes out.
  8. Now you guys are making me nervous, as I swapped out three mods last night and did not look to see if it pulled up wrong armor.
  9. It also counter-balances my Synthweaver which makes stuff for Force wearers, IE, Light/Med/Heavy armor with Willpower and Strength stats. I dont make Aim or Cunning stat armor.
  10. /signed Please keep the giggle. Make it a toggle but keep it until you get that.
  11. Just a followup on one or both of these for the Scoundrel class. PerfectDuke: Are you really removing the giggle/laugh for scoundrels when Upper Hand procs in Game Update 1.2? As a healer, having the audio cue is great for focusing on... well, healing. Especially if the proc comes off of my hot, slow-release medpac. Austin: The change was intended to prevent sound fatigue when lots of these procs were going off in a small area (especially in operations). We are looking into ways of making this proc more visible going forward. Zilvra: I have a level 32 Scoundrel Scrapper. I am already having problems killing my on level bosses due to the 1.1 nerfs. What will the 1.2 nerfs do to me in PVE? It seems really unfair to the purely PVE players when the nerfs hit? Austin: Many of the class story bosses are intentionally very difficult. This is something that all classes face and is not unique to Smugglers. The fact of the matter is that Scrapper DPS is closer to target in 1.2. Understandably, if you were already struggling with an encounter, you may view this as an undesired change. For clarity, we don't agree that this is "unfair" for "pure PVE" players as the changes are not meant to (despite popular perception) specifically target PVP over PVE. Can we get a button in the options interface to turn on and off the giggle? .. I first found it annoying. When I figured out it was granting me Upper Hand, "Well gosh golly Goober, me loves the maniacal laughter now." A little explanation of WHY the laugh is happening in the description might help some. With the Scrapper, which I do not have, How the heck is he supposed to heal himself or his companion on a 5-10 min boss fight if you only let a DPS class which has to use a tank companion only ONE heal pot in that time frame?
  12. Cool. Did not know that George Lucas was the role-model for the new James T Kirk.
  13. Just want to correct. While shadows don't directly heal.. when using skills and in tanking stance, doing damage does heal them so many points every so many seconds. Also. they get to use a shield which mitigates about.. 35%(?)ish of my incoming damage. Then there is the skill that gives them 180% more AC. The backstab is an awesome opening move I like, but not so good for grouping, as DPS appears to never want to wait to poor it on. Better to stand in the mobs' faces (Yeah, better to have more than one.) and Slow Time around you, one of the many AE skills that also reduces their damage output and builds your threat and Breach, which Debuffs the group.
  14. This is a reason why they are hitting crew skills with the 1.2.. Lack of reason to do them when you can get better from a vendor.
  15. I figured there had to be more than a few of us out there...Same for me, one of every trade ever since EQ. I have: 44 Shadow as Synthweaver/Arch/UT 34 Smuggler as Armtech/Scav/Invest Forgot levels on the rest: Guardian as Biochem/Bioanal/Diplomacy Sage as Artifice/Arch/TreasureHunt Trooper healspec as Cybertech/Scav/UT Once they make cross faction email possible, I plan to make my Bounty Hunter Armormech/Scav/UT I may have him do Slicing instead of UT tho, as my shadow can support him with mats.. I have however been trying to keep them skilled in the level area they are questing in, as the higher level missions are expensive.
  16. They have a good place for it in that undeveloped supersize casino that I just happened to see and stumble across from the Nar Shadda taxi guy. Never had any quests to go up there, but it showed a discovered taxi location..
  17. Dang.. I was kinda hoping it was real.. I wanted to stand outside the ship and wash the windows.
  18. Yeah.. I hit that one late at night and got frusterated with dying so much so quick.. After a nights sleep, tried a different tactic, different companion setup and.. cool. dead elite and new toys. Was a pretty epic fight. Learned a lot about how to make a shadow a tank and not a DPS slave. Quick kill was not the way to go.
  19. Check out this thread. Send an ingame email to one of these guys on your server with your level and if you want more Aim or End on the weapon. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=175852&highlight=qyzen+techblade+armortech
  20. Techblades for Qyzen are your friend.. and a new one for every 4 levels or so.
  21. This is a very sad choice, as it also prevents people from soloing more elite mobs that may be a 20 min fight because of their slow DPS, with only one medpack available, meaning you only get one mistake. Its pretty cool to be able to take out champions, even if they are grey.
  22. Thanks for all the tips in here.. as a Shadow tank, I died a lot.. but then realized what all I CC skills I had not been using. After a refresher course in the posts here.. it was a breeze.. The tip on hitting the station to get the incoming damage reduction was excellent.. I had missed it before.
  23. Just curious, not in game atm.. is that one of the materials available on the Crew Skills Vendor that sells crit items across the plaza from the cantina?
  24. When I got Zenith, I was only allowed to max send 3 companions out on missions out of the four that I had. It is probably the problem you have. That issue was resolved over the last few days when I hit either level 42 or 43 on Hoth. Not sure what exactly fixed it, but when I landed on Hoth, I could send 3/4 and when I was getting ready to log last night in the Frozen Cantina, I was able to send all four. Sometimes, you get companions you cant send all of them out.. I have the same issue on my Knight atm.
