  2. I returned to the game about two months ago and after starting Makeb and upgrading my gear for 55, i went back and started to try to do some planet completion things in the legacy. My question is, what is the 3 droid parts/thingys or whatever that are in the exploration section? I have no idea what these are. I have just started the seeker droid and micro-binocular quests. Is there some relation, just checking as am not sure what to look for.

  4. I need some suggestions. I am a level 50 healing spec'd sage using Qyzen decently geared (non RotHC). I am attempting the Jedi Temple quest on Ilum where you fight Darth Arho. I can very easily get him to the half way point where he grabs both me and my companion and a bunch of Jedi NPC save us and we continue with Darth Arho at half health. Here is my problem, after this point, within a 10 seconds or so, Darth Arho does something to m companion that makes all heals on him result in 0HP. I have tried every heal, tried using the one that removes debuffs multiple times. I tried Lt Iresso to make sure it was not a Qyzen bug with the same result. I have attempted it about 10 times and I can not figure out what I am doing wrong. I am recently back to the game after a year off, is there some mechanic I am missing here? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hi, I was a Beta tester/founder DD Edition and stopped playing about 12 months ago. I decided recently to try it again when the game went F2P and remembered how much I enjoyed the overall game. I then decided to re-sub and did the 6-month sub for the better rates. I also use a security key. I now have some questions about some of new things. 1. Collections: Do these only apply to cartel market items? I have about 50 or so pieces or orange gear from leveling my Sage that are banked that I consider armor sets (5 similarly named pieces of armor). 2. Section X: Do I get access to this as a subscriber and it sounds like this provides a new companion. 3. Rise of the Hutt Cartel: I realize this is an expansion and I would pay for it separately. Is it possible to level above 50 without it? Are the new binocular thingy quests and such not available without it? 4. Cartel Market: I am not sure what things I get be default (subscriber) and what I don’t. I have been checking some other sites for info for this but am not sure yet. 5. Is there any new things worth noting for: a. VIP Vendor b. Security Vendor 6. Is there any other new “storyish” things, like RotHC and Section X? Thanks for any answers you can provide.
  6. Good guide. I wanted to add something that I found made a difference for me. Every single green or higher drop i got in game i would put on the GTN first and if it didn't sell, I would then vendor it. Like you said, you get back your original deposit if the item does not sell. These items are basically free to you and if you pick decent prices for them on the GTN, you will get 3 to 4 times what the vendor gives you.
  7. In the artifice wieldables group, there are actually two shields in each crafting tier or level range that have the same stats but different names. they are both aim+end+crit i think. One of those should probobly be will+end+crit. there is a generator with str+end+crit and a focus with will+end+crit. Look slike they have a bug in the artificing tree.
  8. I, myself, do not find his armor to be a problem to properly gear. the problem is his weapon. there are so few techblades available, he is constantly using a weapon at least 5 levels outdated. There are no tech blades on the commendation vendors, but there are eery other weapon type. the only option is if you get a qyzen specific quest reward, or the one tech blade available from the weapon vendor on each new planet. At 24 my qysen is using a green level 18 techblade from the vendor. Fitting him with Aim gear is no big deal and not hard to do. the problem is that they changed him to a melee tank and kept his primary stat as Aim,. this made it so they had to create a melee weapon type that uses Aim that no-one else will ever use, other than Qyzen (edit: apparently they did the same thing to Tano Vikk). This was a lousy fix to an easily fixable problem, change his to strength and let him use vibro weapons. i can definitely say that as soon as I have another companion that can even remotely tank, Qyzen will become a ship warmer.
  9. I know that on some armor and weapons that a critical result will have mod slots. What does a critical result get you on crafting mods themselves. Everyrtime i make hilts/color crystals/enhancements or wieldables (artificing) and i get a critical or exceptional, there is no difference from a normal. Is there supposed to be? Is something else happening (less materials used mabey)? Has anyone else noticed this?
  10. Qyzen Fess uses a melee weapon that relies on the Aim stat (which is just screwy to start with). The only weapon upgrade I have found for him so far is a green quality techblade from the weapon vendor on Coruscant, and it is level 10. The commendations vendor has weapons for every other type, other than Qyzen's techblade. He can not use a vibrosword or a vibrostaff, which there are plenty of. I think that the developers need to look at and reconsider how Qyzen is setup. I was hoping this would have been fixed during the beta since it existed there as well. Is it just me or has anyone else noticed this?
