there was this poll on mmorpg.com and more than 65% thought an expansion will never happen
Who cares about mmorpg.com, their forums are a cesspit filled with trolls.
I' am fairly certain that a full expansion will come out when it's ready.

My opinion is that the game is absolutely great despite some flaws, and there is plenty endgame content and things you can do.
It also appears that they will now release new content at a much faster pace now so that's a good thing.

I am hoping we will get an expansion soon as well, although for now Makeb planet and it's following content seem to be rather impressive with its size.

I had to laugh at the article's claim that GW2's have surpassed "The Old Republic's stilted dialogue, basic cinematography and forgettable characters".
Guild Wars 2. Where the main hero of your personal story is some wimpy guy called Trahearne, where dialogue cutscenes involve two characters facing each other in front of a static background... yeah, right.
Exactly, GW2 and its mediocre story and characters cannot even be compared to SWTOR, no MMO on the market can even come close to this game in that particular department.

One thing is sure... looking at number of posts posted just in one day, I would say that number of subscribers in SWTOR skyrocketed!!!!!
It has increased most definitely, resident forum trolls might beg the differ but then again, who cares.

The article is utter BS.
The part about the story and how there are at least three other MMO's with a beeter one is especially hilarious.
SWTOR is second to none in the story/voice acting department in the MMO market.

I re subbed recently as well and enjoying as well, my impression is that the game has improved a lot over the course of these couple of months that i didn't play.

Problem is the horde of DPS players,when the wipe happens it is either the healer or the tanks fault and trust me as someone who does both healing and tanking it is so frustrating to have DPS pull stuff,run out range for heals,and asked to slow down a minute to get rude responses.
My tank has been retired and my heals are only with good friends,,period.
That's because the majority of new players choose DPS classes and are utter tools on top of that.
It's one of the reasons my Commando is now a full on Gunnery instead of a Combat Medic, healing those irritating low IQ people who don't listen and keep making mistakes, then blame you for their stupidity when they inevitably die has become very tiresome for me.
On the other hand when it comes to tanking i don't have any problems with that, i like tanking.

Stupid question, but how do you have to be to access the cartel market? I see on the character select screen I can purchase races from the opposing faction to play certain classes but am unsure on how to purchase them
Also, another dumb question, how many cartel coins are each race? Thank you for any responses.
i think each race is around 600 cartel coins, and you can access the market via that button in game, top of the screen by default.

I agree with you.
However i am of the opinion that they really need to move away from some ridiculous restrictions which they imposed on f2p players such as limited action bars.

if you are running an intel processor get the best nvidia card u can afford. if you are running an amd processor get the best radeon card you can afford.

Not true, i have Intel processor and my Radeon is working flawlessly.
OP get the MSI card out of the two you listed.

F2P is looking good at the moment but it is too early to talk about that in my opinion, fact of the matter is that SWTOR needed new influx of players, however i think the restrictions regarding action bars and gear for f2p crowd need to disappear ASAP.
Personally i believe that the game will grow and improve now at a much faster pace via patches, new content, expansions etc, which is a fantastic thing.
