  1. It's more like 90% of the time on the Shadowlands server unless their is some special time of day where republic dominates. I've become used to playing at least 10 games before I get a win. Although almost every match has at least 4 or more Sorcerers in it & we all know how much of a hot topic that class is in terms of PvP. -LatinLegacy
  2. The Sorverer nerf is coming for sure, their is no doubt about that. Almost every Warzone match is dominated by Sorcs on the Shadowlands server. I do have over a few hundred screenshots of PvP scoreboards now to prove that point. I even rolled one to see what the hell makes them so overpowered & it's not one ability that makes them strong, but a combination of things that puts them over the top. They can pretty much build a high damage high healing hybrid with multiple stuns, a shield that absorbs 100% damage & can use force run that allows them to escape a 1 v 1 if they are taking to much heat. Most will go down the lightning tree & pick up a few other skills in the other trees that shouldn't be allowed as a lower bracket skill. Such as Calcify ( Increases force lightning damage by 12% with 3 points put into it ). No skill of that caliber should be anywhere near the bottom of any tree. So yes Sorcs, dispute all you want, you guys will be nerfed sooner or later. -LatinLegacy
  3. Operatives & Sorcs are the two biggest pains in the *** for me. I'm a well seasoned PvP player across many MMO's dating back to Meridian 59 so I can understand the frustrations when dealing with those two classes. Commandos can actually drop a Sorcerer fairly easily but the fact that Sorcerers can dish out high damage AND high healing, stun multiple times, pop a shield to absorb some damage ( usually twice in a battle due to the short cooldown), & run from a battle to heal, it makes them highly annoying to fight 1 on 1. You'll out damage them but they'll beat you overtime due to better survivability. Almost all Sorcerers go down the lightning tree as well since they can dump points into skills in the other trees that really pushes them over the limit. Skills such as... Will of Sith Sith Defiance Calcify Sleeping Darkness Haunting Presence After 31 points are spent down the lightning tree, 4 of those 5 skills listed above can be picked up going into the other trees. Just look them up & you'll be like what the ****. Operatives, well, they are self explanatory . -LatinLegacy
  4. Well if their is a lot of whining about it, their has to be something wrong right? Just a thought. -LatinLegacy
  5. Just finished a game where 7 of the 8 players were Sith Inquisitors. Six of the seven were Sorcerers . They lost that match though. Couldn't stand up to the hard hitting we were putting on them. -LatinLegacy
  6. I have about 130+ Screenshots of PvP scoreboards sitting in my photobucket that can prove you otherwise. Sith Inquisitors are insanely overpowered to the point that it's not even funny. I rolled one myself to see what the hell was going on & yes, I was streamrolling republic players with great ease. Unless I got overwhelmed. I had no issues in a PvP match at all. Even at my lower levels. They are almost always on the top of the scoreboard in both damage & healing despite the skill levels of the opposing team. I've won matches on the Republic side with Sith Inquisitors still at the top of the scoreboard in pretty much every category. Screenshots can be provided upon request . -LatinLegacy
  7. The problem with the game is that Bioware focused mainly on PvE combat, story, flashpoints, operations, etc where as PvP feels like an afterthought. Their is some huge balancing issues. Many favoring the Imperial players. Yes, I have a char on both sides & when I can effortlessly win on the Imperial side with faster Cooldowns & not broken animations, I'm going to steamroll republic players almost everytime. With my Commando, it's hell trying to get even one win despite how good our team is. It almost feels like I have a much better chance of winning a PvP match with a bad Imperial team than a good republic team. -LatinLegacy
  8. Yes it does. If a level 50 guild member can out heal 3 level 50 imperial players hitting me with all they got & I am able to drop all 3 of them, their is something wrong. To be fair though, I am a Trooper Commando with heavy armor but even so, that is over the top. Heals do need the debuff. -LatinLegacy
  9. They have the numbers on their side so if anything needs to be balanced, they'll know what it'll be. Many players will always shift to the most overpowered class in the game on either faction if they catch wind of it. On my server, the Shadowlands, it has already become clear that the Sith Inquisitor is the most overpowered class on the Imperial side & the Trooper Commando is the most overpowered class on the Republic side. This only relates on my server only & info gathered for playing PvP for about 3 weeks now. Inquisitors & Commandos are almost always on the top of the charts in terms of damage, score & healing. Inquisitors far more often than Commandos though & yes, I have hundreds of Screenshots already to back up my claim . -LatinLegacy
  10. I can't complain much but it was poorly handled at the least. As a working adult, the patch day unfortunately falls on my day off. The day that I can put any real time into a game that I am paying for. To adjust to this issue, I attempt to play for as long as I can before sleeping. Which is usually somewhere near the time the servers go down for patching. Their was no notice to my knowledge that was up by the time I hit the bed. I wake up an hour ago & just now, I am seeing the notice about the delay of the patch. Not really upset about the delay but at the timing that the post went up. I refuse to believe that " the issue " that they came across in public testing was absolutely last minute. I'm confident that they could of made players aware of this issue a few days in advance.
  11. I think it depends on the server you play on. When it comes to PvP on my server, The Shadowlands, Trooper ( All Specs ) is the most used on the Republic Side & the Sith Inquister is the most used on the Imperial side. Bioware will attempt to balance out the classes but as with most modern MMO's, they'll never get it to the point that it's near perfect. When the most unbalanced do get nerfed, new classes that are considered OP'ed will emerge. The cycle will start all over again. As it stands at the moment, the Sith Inquister is the most complained about class for Republic players via PvP. Not sure what imperial players complain about the most in PvP when it comes to the republic side. -LatinLegacy
  12. Didn't feel like making a new post since this seems to be a hot topic just by searching the words Inquisitor & Nerf together. Now I know everyone has their own opinion but to justify myself, I've been playing MMO's for around 15+ years now. I've seen my fair share of PvP balance issues through more games than I car to name at the moment. I am a senior member & senior moderator for the curse network family of websites. What I will say is based purely on participation in PvP as well as rolling a Sith Inquisitor on " The Shadowlands " server. Their is no beating around the bush about it. The Sith Inquisitor is by far the most overpowered class in the game. Way ahead of any other class in the game. Now I will say this, in a 1 vs 1 situation, it's not ha rd at all to drop a Sith Inquisitor but in a group, they are near impossible to take down. I did my own research playing PvP to gather some statistics. Screenshots will be provided upon request. Server: Shadowlands - Republic Heavy Days: January 9th to January 10th - Just finished my 100th match at 4:57pm EST PVP Matches Participated in: 100 Approx Results 14 Wins, 86 Losses Most Damage: Inquisitor Player - 79 Times Highest Score: Inquisitor Player - 83 Times Average Inquisitors Per Match - Two Low - None - Only two games played had no Sith Inquisitors at all High - Six - Was a recent match where six of the eight imperial players were Sith Inquisitors. My experience my not reflect those that experienced different results on other servers. The info gathered was based on the Server I play on only. -LatinLegacy
  13. Launch isn't until the 20th & no, people are not kidding themselves. Those that claim that they are one thing, impatient. In no way is EA/Bioware obligated to grant you access prior to the date established of the games launch. It's simply a perk to those that chose to pre-order the game at the time that they did. Anything before the 20th is a bonus to the player but it shouldn't be an expectation of the player.
  14. You paid for a game that has not officially launched yet. Early Access doesn't equal to an official launch date. Consider the early access as nothing more than a bonus .
