  1. Resurrecting this thread instead of starting a new one . I happen to own three of the original Korrealis speeders, the Baron & Commander as mentioned by the OP as well as the Korrealis Sovereign. After a very long absence from the game, I decided to return. Took a few friends to convince me since a lot of new content has released since my departure from the game. I was quite excited to see the many changes that have occurred to the game. Many that I took an immediate liking to. That excitement was quickly met with disappointment when I saw that my most beloved speeders could not be used account wide. I was able to look past the fact that a majority of my character names were flagged for required changes since a server merge happened at some point. I deserved that faith for being gone from the game for so long. Just sucks that I can't use those speeders on newly created chars .
  2. I knew I wasn't going crazy. My guildies thought I was but I was like seeing how fast I was being dropped in warzones in full BM gear. It was insane. I can't even get to 300K damage anymore because I am being ripped apart by every class. Even got a kick out of a healer sage nearly out damaging me. The only way I will stay in the fight is if I have a pocket healer or if another players drops guard on me. Having guard on me just feels wrong in so many ways . -LatinLegacy
  3. IGN: LatinLegacy ( 4 alts ) Class: Gunnery Commando Server: The Shadowlands PvP: 72 War Hero Gear: Full BM before 1.2 ( PvP ) - Full Rakata (PvE) My gunnery commando can still do very well in a PvE environment but it absolutely sucks now in PvP. I was one of the first gunnery commandos to get to 50 on my server & yes, we were insanely OP at the early going. Those of us that stacked on the Surge/Crit stats anyways. We would hit hard as hell. That got scaled back & we were still hitting fairly hard. It was more tolerable however for the opposing players to deal with us. After 1.2 however, the class simply blows. It doesn't help that at full battlemaster gear, we have one of the lowest HP amounts out of every class. We're right down their with the healers just about. The difference being healers have shields & a ton of utility at their disposal while we don't. So with the increased expertise & damage adjustments of some classes, we go down fast. Insanely fast. I almost feel like I am wearing light armor at times. Our set up ability lost a good amount of damage & with the expertise boost, a lot of our attacks hit for a lot less as well. They did fix mortar volley & it actually does more damage now than before. The AoE is so narrow however that it only takes a player to take a few steps in any direction & they are out of it. The bad heavily outweighs the good for patch 1.2. So to sum up... PvE = Still good, PvP = Terrible. That is just my opinion though & everyone else may feel differently. -LatinLegacy

I'm having far more trouble with Sith Warriors than Marauders at the moment. I am fine with the amount of damage that a Sith Warrior can dish out. In all fairness, they should be the highest dps melee class in the game. What offsets that problem with their high damage is that they can interrupt way to often. Far more than that class should be allowed to considering the damage they can dish out. The way it should be is.... Sith Warrior/Jedi Guardian - High Damage - Low CC/Interrupt Capability - They should be a high damage sponge that can soak up a lot damage. Not be able to interrupt another class often if at all with very minimal CC Sith Marauder/Jedi Sentinel - Medium Damage - High CC/Interrupt Capability. They should be a class that does decent damage ( no high burst damage ability ). The lose in damage is made up by being able to interrupt another class fairly often as well as having the highest level of crowd control. That will solve a lot of issues for both classes & their balance issues when facing players of a different class. -LatinLegacy
  5. Glad that this guy, along with some others get it. I find it hilarious that some people would go as far as to " unsubscribe " from the game due to the lack of ranked PvP. Really? A game geared heavily towards PvE content & it's PvP that makes you stop paying up to $15 a month for a game? Their are so many FREE games to go get your PvP fix in & some games that are heavily designed towards it. Just go play those.
  6. I won't lie, I've gotten my butt handed to me good on plenty of occasions. Especially in 1 vs 1's against a hard hitting DPS class or a Jedi Shadow that knew how to use his or her interrupts. A majority of the time though, I did quite well in Warzones. -LatinLegacy
  7. It won't kill the game but a lot of players will have to adjust to the changes. Most of the changes will be tolerable while others will really change the way some people play their classes. It's nothing different than what most MMORPG games go through when they drop their first major game changing patch. We'll just have to see what direction Bioware goes from 1.2. -LatinLegacy
  8. You are 100% correct my good man. You hit it right on the nail! -LatinLegacy
  9. I do have one & I've mentioned him a few times in prior threads. Name is DarkLegacy on the Shadowlands server. Level 50 Madness sorcerer at level 53 Valor & he simply dominates in PvP warzones. Of course I am immediately targeted by republic players once they see me or any other Sorcerer for that matter but it's nothing my force speed & bubble can't handle . The only thing I can not speak on is the healing builds since I did not bothering going that route. -LatinLegacy
  10. Just check my old post . I got called out about how " detailed " some of my post were & one person even asked who was my source . I didn't respond of course. -LatinLegacy
  11. The Sorc changes will result in one of these two options occurring... 1) The players that knew how to use the class will adapt to the changes & still be effective in PvE & PvP content. 2) The players that did not know how to play the class will end up leveling another class or quitting for a set amount of time before returning. Everyone that considers themselves an old school MMORPG gamer knew that the Sage/Sorcerer was OP'ed a great deal due to the utility of the class. Not just how much damage or healing it could dish out. The changes to the class in 1.2 are much welcomed. -LatinLegacy
  12. I was called out in a numerous post about Sorceress/Sages classes being OP & I also kind of slipped up by saying that big Sage/Sorcerer changes were coming. My GF is from Edmonton & attends MacEwan University & she has some " friends " out their. I'll leave it at that. So I knew changes were coming. I took a lot of flak about going into detail on how Sorc/Sages were OP prior to having knowledge of the then planned changes. Now that the changes are public knowledge, I can just kick my feet up & Say " I told ya so " . -LatinLegacy
  13. The popularity of the Sorcerer/Sage has dropped a ton on my server due to the latest PvP based adjustment with the DoT's no longer being able to interrupt you while completing a PvP warzone objective. Republic players where cheering loudly on The Shadowlands server & we are now steam rolling the imperial side in most warzone matches. Sorcerers still have WAY TO MANY abilities for one class but the the DoT nerf really stuck it to them. I'm seeing a whole lot less in warzones now. It use to be a minimum of four per match. Now it's usually two or just one. The number of Assassins have increased though but they are very easy to kill . -LatinLegacy
  14. A skill tree adjustment is most likely going to happen instead of an actual nerf. Some abilities may be moved around so Sorcs are unable to have as much utility & tree specific boost as they currently do at the moment. Bioware is well aware of the popularity of the Sith Inquisitor & more importantly, the Sorcerer class is at the moment. Sith Inquisitors currently make up 1/5th of all classes currently used across all servers. Bioware knows it's not for the " cool story line " or " lightning from my finger tips " either. They do have plans for them down the road to balance them out. That is straight from the Guild Summit. What no one knows at the moment is when those changes will be implemented. Do note that that whatever adjustments they get, Sages will see the same as well. Making their dots ineffective during warzone objectives is just the start of changes to come. -LatinLegacy
  15. Huge improvement on the republic side for the Shadowlands server. Warzones pop either instantly or under a minute. A lot of republic players doing PvP now. Also, with the news of the Legacy system sharing buffs among all classes, a lot less sorcerers have been appearing in level 50 Warzones so that is an added bonus. Since it got annoying going up against 4-6 Sorcs per match for the past month. Those players are most likely leveling up their alts . -LatinLegacy
