  1. The engine is not capable, those of us that where around at launch can attest to how bad of a lag fest ilum was when we actually had PVP objectives to run out on the planet. The fact of the matter is Bioware either needs to update the game engine and their server hardware that is why war-zones lag so much. not to mention the grossly horrible population imbalances then too. Bioware did sort of address that but they needed to make the instance caps based on factions not general pop as it often leads to one instance being almost all imp/reb while the other gets short changed. That said PVP content does need to be addressed. When they removed ilum PVP quests they said we would get something new and better, however all we ever got was a couple more war-zones and a couple two week events on ilum. I play this game exclusively for PVP but it gets repetitive after a while and in the end it will be why I stop playing again. The bar for this game was very high and given what SWG accomplished even after its cookie cutter patches it seems that bioware had a great model to use. Instead we got this star wars MMO offering less to the players while requiring greater hardware specs to run.
  2. The reusable stims have been weaker then the blue versions for some time now not just since 2.0 I understand why BW nerfed Biochem after launch as it was very op to have but there is no reason why purple reusable stims/adrenals should not at least be equal to blue. Every other crew skill that has a reusable item has better stats on it then its blue counter parts. BW has consistently made this crew skill less and less desirable over the life of the game you would think they would throw the profession a bone in 2.0 but no.
  3. Do not force lead in right away in PVP. This is our only cap closer as combat spec and should be saved when the enemy uses knock backs on you. Also make sure your popping saber ward and rebuke half a second before you engage in combat. Personally your rotation and mine in PVP are the same with the exception that I do not force leap in or master strike at the end. I do use master strike but only in situations where I am fighting and I have no focus built or my enemy is standing still. You pile on vastly more stacs of centering if you use your higher end unlock skills. I also only use transcendence in PVP as combat spec we really do not benefit from Zen as much as other specs do, so picking up a speed buff with added defense bonus improves your survivability. Save your stealth for when a sorc or sniper class tries the knock back snare on you. Followed with that force leap you saved so your right back on target and he basically just wasted his knock back and whatever move he was following up with. As for dealing with CCs always always take the first CC, I know it sucks but you have to resist the urge to use your breaker. 9 times out of 10 if you take one CC another is right behind it and the 2nd will fill your resolve bar most of the time. When your resolve is full pop the breaker and go to town.

    Fresh lvl 50 in WZ

I guess teamwork is an abstract concept to you then in WZs, whenever gearin a new 50 for PVP go in with your guildies that are geared so they can help you out. I know on our server we have carried more then our fair share of new 50s to victory in WZs.
  5. only healers I have issues with atm are heavy armor healers, not only do they have the advantage of superior armor vs other healing classes that damned shield of theirs makes interrupts impossible. I can 1v1 any other healing class just fine as a pure dps, but if its heavy armor forget it, not only will they out heal me but the do enough DPS that even if I do whittle them down they have me dead to rights simply because I cannot heal myself after my first med pack is used.
  6. I think they do need to streamline the classes because the shear amount of skills a marauder/sentinel uses in combat far surpass other classes. That said I still enjoy my "piano playing" but I do feel that bw messed up by not making all classes have an equal amount of skill rotation for effective PVP combat. EZ mode classes just seem lame to me, but then again I play for the challenge not the easy win like so many others today.
  7. Actually IMO sents look like wanna be Ironman/golden/white power rangers. My biggest issue atm is purely from an aesthetics point of view. JK all look the same in end content PVP gear with only color being the difference. That said Bioware please get some diversity in JK PVP gear. It is bad enough just about every class has multiple bonus choices but sents really get screwed as they only have one set, and they share a weapon with Guardian DPS players. It is like they got to JK class and where lazy as crap for the armor sets.
  8. well I stood a chance in a wz before, now forget it with the way ilum can be farmed by imps who outnumber us at least 3to1 at any given time on ilum in the past are gonna really outnumber us now and there is not a damn thing republic players can do about it. So much for making battlemaster being a task bw your new patch just handed the imperials overwhelming imbalance issues with PVP. Not only is ilum broken but because of that wz will be further unbalanced by a flood of new imperial players in battlemaster PVP gear while the republic struggles. Honestly I see no other option then a roll back if you want any chance of keeping your republic player base. ilum needs to be closed off to those who have not unlocked the storyline or at 50. If this issue is not addressed rapidly I will be canceling my sub as I am a republic player that wants a chance to compete with the horde. Hell the old system was bad but at least it gave both sides an equal chance to get what they needed, now you created a system that benefits only imperials.
  9. Horrible armor, by far the most horrendous design of the game. I would much rather deal with a hidden face and a hood on the robe then look like some ****ed up wanna be ironman power ranger. Seriously nothing about this look says "****** jedi" like PVP gear should.
