  1. Hey Eric. While this game is something i consider a positive thing, why not take the next logical step? Its impossible for everybody who's been waiting to get one of those codes, so how about you give something (even 1 cc code or whatever) to ALL subscribers elligible for the early access? That would be the fair thing to do honestly. Random "throw codes around" only for those on the forums atm is not something i consider fair or considerate of the subscribers that already lost 1 day of early access. Please make it happen.
  2. Same here. Been trying to login for 1hour and always same message - Login service currently unavailable. Costumer service says nothing about it, and the only way to "report" the issue is to make a paid phone call??? For real?? I'm a paying subscriber and i cant even have access to an "out of game" ticket system?? First time happening to me, but I've seen people having this same issue since friday night....

  4. /signed on 8v8 Arenas must be nuked out of the game. 8v8 ranked must return, so that there's actually a point for pvp guilds to form up, so that pvp communities can thrive. Just like they used to when there was a pvp mode (8v8ranked) that required 8 people working as a team, which meant 8 people preferebly from the same guild, who would Q for normal to train and bound and be friends, and then team up on 8man groups (just like pve) to do ranked (just like operations). #ArenaskilledSWTORpvp
  5. I don't think that's possible considering the low ammount of people that Q for warzones. There just isnt enough people in Q to allow for warzone choice, unless something like x-server comes into play. But we already know that aint gonna happen. Maybe Bioware could implement something WoW does when you are Q'ing for daily pvp battlegrounds? Which is - instead of choosing what map you want to play, you pick 1 or 2 that you DONT want to play. So you will only get a pop if the map ready for you is in the list of the maps you didnt cross out. Most likely tho, this will increase your Q time dramatically, but at least you wont go thru the experience of ending in Queshball or Hypergates or Arena and leave immediatly. Also, if the system accounts for everybody locking out their least favourite maps, there will still be at least 4 of them to find in common between all the Q'ers. I'm not a math expert but that shouldnt be too hard, right? One can always hope..
  6. /signed Although 1 warzone every 3 months would probably just be same maps with different skins and that wouldnt be much help besides giving us something different to look at. I'd rather have 1 new warzone per 6 or 9 months but with new rules, new objectives, new gameplays. I think a capture the flag warzone (which is one of the most popular kind of pvp games) is really missing. I know hutball kinda meets the capture the flag objectives, but it doesnt have the defend/attack tactic duality that a capture the flag requires. Maybe a Hutball with 2 balls on each side and you have to capture the enemy ball and bring to your base while defending your own ball? I guess that would be lore consistent with hutball and still implement a very cool new gameplay style for warzones.
  7. I have no idea where to post this, so I guess suggestion box is as good as any... So with all the rumours of SWTOR2 being a real thing in development right now, and since it hasnt been confirmed there isnt any other place where to come talk about this, here's my suggestion: If there is indeed a SWTOR2 being developed, please, please, please Bioware, keep the gameplay from SWTOR.... What I mean is, most MMORPG's recently released have taken the gameplay options of a somewhat Action RPG, with only a few ability slots that you can use at one time, focusing more on movement and positioning, rather than ability choice. Games like Guild Wars 2, Tera, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online, Wildstar, etc, there seems to be a trend to move from the old MMORPG gameplay like we see in SWTOR, WoW and Rift. Please dont change your gameplay Bioware. One of the best things in SWTOR in my opinion, is the gameplay. Having all your abilities ready to be used at any given time, makes for a much better experience. I love having 10s of abilities that I dont use often, but I know they are there to be used when the time is right, without having to plan what abilities should I "equip" for the next few minutes. A Jedi shouldnt have to choose what 8 force abilities they can use for the next fight. A bounty hunter shouldnt have to plan what "weapons to load and what weapons to keep on stand by" for the next few minutes. Lots of actionbars, lots of abilities, lots of keybinds, ready to use at any time. I dont know about the majority of players, but I think its safe to assume most people want the same gameplay in the future? I love Dragon Age Inquisition, but the gameplay bugs me to no end. Playing as a mage, having lots of awesome and fun abilities to use, and having to choose only 8 to have "loaded" in your actionbar/keybinds, it really breaks the immersion of being a powerful mage, and also breaks the fun out of it (I mention Dragon Age Inquisition because its on Frostbyte 3 engine and I assume if a SWTOR2 is indeed in development its probably being built on FB3.) Please dont restrict the fun out of your games!!
  8. How about you do what everybody else did before pvp ranked rewards? Do dailies, get reputation, buy legacy gear. This post is, sorry if I offend anyone, just a big fat whine! I could just ignore it, maybe even agree, if you made a post asking for another way for PvErs to get legacy gear. You completely defeat yourself just through your title - Give us PVErs the same toys you give to PVPers..... This game is known for its lack of balance in the catering of PVErs vs PVPers, and yet PVErs are always trying to add even more imbalance by asking the same stuff PVPers get.... Its just unbelievable.... Ask something you want, and give a valid reason. PVP gets it, so PVE must get it too, is not valid.
  9. Changes sound nice, except for the capping interrupting thing. It would make sense in a 8v8 ranked perspective, but on regular warzones, where you have no idea who end up on your team, its sounds like its gonna be really unfair. Its hard enough to find 1 good defender staying at a node and calling within reasonable time. With aoe no longer working, it will require 2 defenders to stay at a node all the time. Specially in Civil War, where you absolutely need aoe abilities (if you are rooted or unable to reach it in time) to stop a cap from someone facing the other side of the node. Please dont implement that change. I've never seen anyone complaining about it, is that really something that the majority of the players will appreciate?
  10. I think this whole debacle is pathetic.... Cause swtor is so hard that you only win at the game if you're a keybinder... Thats such a pathetic thing to say. There are many mmo's where you should be a keybinder, no doubt. Hell, even the melee classes of swtor should keybind. But if someone cant perform equally good as keybinder and clicker on a swtor ranged class, then that person must be handicapped... Melee classes have such low gbcs, you need to keybind so you dont waste any time and make the best out of your skills and timing. Ranged classes have such a large gbc you can click each ability and still take a bite of your donut inbetween each click... and still perform as good as the keybinders. (You must have offgbc stuff keybound, thats a must tho, but other than that...) Take this debate to another game where this is actually a problem..
  11. Im not sure if you are trolling... If not: No we do not owe an apology to anyone. If anything, the devs owe an apology to their paying costumers for not having this working as it should from the beggining. Also, I think you are seeing fixes where they didnt happen... They fixed a few things in latest patch yes, but there's so many to be fixed its impossible for them to do it in 1 patch. Even if all you listed is fixed, what about the lag / ability delay in warzones? What about the leap bug thats been around for over an year now? What about the Force Barrier bug that it seems is even worse since yesterday's patch?? What about the crazy lag (even more so than in other warzones) in the quesh pit that has been like that since its release one year ago? Stop petting the devs, they dont deserve it. And it only makes you sound like a fool and someone who hasnt been around long enough to know there is no excusing the devs at this point. EDIT: I see you are trolling now, didnt even read the thread after reading the "you owe an apology".... its sad i know.
  12. Haha!! I hear ya! I played wow for many years, got sick to the point of pucking just by hearing the game's name. 2 months ago, around the time season 2 rewards were announced (so smart and clever to give a pvp helmet with pve properties.... amazing), i got back to wow.... Its amazing how Swtor is not only detiorating more and more on a daily basis, the game is now actually helping other mmo's getting more subs.... such lol... Oh and did you know swtor devs are working on other games at same time as they work in this game?? Freaking hilarious, as if they dont have anything to do to improve swtor...
  13. We are very sorry to tell you that Eric is too busy pretending to be Wolverine while working on a new Bioware IP called Shadowrealms - https://www.shadowrealms.com/blog/courtney-vs-musco-extravaganza-part-i Its not as if SWTOR need any more attention from its devs, the game is completely fine and healthy and everything is "Working As Intended". They have now moved along to destroy another whole different IP! Awesome.
  14. All my posts for the past year have been negative and hateful toward the devs.. Not because i hate the game, but quite the opposite. I love the game and there is so much potential to it, that its painful to see how it is handled (nevermind the reasons for now). So, trying not to give another bloodrage post, and working on my "positivity", here's a suggestion for the pvp devs: You all know how much players want 8v8 ranked back. You said before you wont have 8v8 and 4v4 because of balance issues. You all know how important would be for pvp (and for pve for that matter) to implement cross server queues. Now, assuming you are actually working on bringing cross server in the (distant) future (as rumour has it), how about these changes for ranked: Keep arenas, only for solo ranked queue. You wont have as much trouble with balance, cause players wont be able to determine their group composition before hand, leaving it for the matchmaking system to handle (which also needs a tweek, but thats another matter) Bring back 8v8 ranked by group ranked queue (ofc in this case cross server would be needed to keep it alive and thriving). To be honest, I dont think you will ever fix the balance issues. There will always be the underdogs and the fotm classes. But thats something that pretty much all the players have come to accept. This is an alt-friendly game, so i already know that if i want to heal, ill log on my scoundrel, if i want to tank guardian/vanguard is the way to go, if i want to dps (well there's a lot of choice for this one, but) i go on sage cause despite the squishiness its still immensely fun to play. You dont need to concern yourselves with balance issues for 2 types of ranked games if you keep them apart - arena for ranked solo queue, and regular maps for ranked group queue. Team ranked is a lot less popular than solo right now because its all about who times their stunlocks and switchs better, its not a matter of tactics or skill like the 8v8 ranked used to be. In the end, you please the players who favor 8v8 ranked, and still cater to those who enjoy arena deathmatches, and the balance issues are not gonna get worse or better by doing this, because its just an mmo characteristic, it always happens.. And by doing this, you dont need to develop anything (except ofc cross server, which i sincerely hope is on the works, even if its only gonna be implemented a year from now) and you just have to switch 1 thing that already exists (group ranked arenas) by another thing which you already had (8v8 ranked). Not to mention, this would also bring back a need for pvp players to actually have an organized guild. PS: In case cross servers is just a rumour, merging all european servers into 1, and all american servers into 2 (West and East) would also work to keep 8v8 alive. Feel free to add anything you think would be helpful for the pvp'ers without asking too much resources from the pvp dev team, which would probably get an instant: No. PSS: And please, no more ugly helmets with pve characteristics to it. Thats still an unbelievable move...
  15. I post a ranting message about what i feel about what's been done to pvp players and my post gets deleted and i get a warning..... Nice community management there. Apparently crying in outrage is the only way to get a fast response from the community management.. with every step you take u alienate your players even further.... I may have been harsh, but you are 100% responsible for pushing me to that extreme. I've been a loyal player since pre-launch, and I've tried, I've really tried to look past all of the stuff you been throwing at your players, specially the pvp players. If i hadnt tried, i wouldnt still be here after almost 3 years would i? Did i get a delete and warning because i posted something calling out to pvp players to not spend money on cartel stuff? Or was it because i said you guys deserve a collective lawsuit for lying to your playerbase over and over? A player base that pays monthly for a service that is poorly delivered? Am i being punished for saying this out loud when apparently not many people have the courage to say it? It doesnt make it less true tho, and you know it. And thats why you will delete my post again i guess. You will only alienate me further to the point of unsubbing. A line from the warning i got: "When creating and replying to threads, please make sure your posts are constructive. Posts that are inflammatory and meant to provoke negative reactions or disrupt constructive discussions are not permitted on the forums. " Disrupt constructive discussions? Was this ever a discussion? Please enlight me, cause this looks in no way like a discussion. This looks like you promising, and promising, and hinting, and not delevering and expecting players to just shut up about it, while you all seem to take a 2month+ vacation and nobody hears anything from the dev team (ye i know your working, not on vacation, but complete disregard for your community is something im pretty sure is not part of your job requirements) You want constructive posts? I've done them for over a year when the game launched. Reporting bugs and whatnot in a constructive manner. Go ahead, check your logs and see what happened. After a year it was just impossible to be constructive about anything. You want players to stop complaining, and hating and insulting? Start delivering, and stop making promises (or hints of promises) you cant possibly deliver. You keep talking about "transparency", well its time to show some of that, cause i aint seen it yet... I'd really like to understand your whole philosophy about all this, cause sincerely, its beyond my comprehension... Its just really really sad. So sad, sometimes its impossible to bottle all in, and you have to explode. Its the first time i had any reaction from you guys, and ofc, it was a negative reaction.... I dont think the problem is on my side... Just take a moment to introspect and honestly tell me to my face i am wrong... I've tried really hard to believe in you since the announcement of this game... Bioware is my favourite gaming company, EVER. Except when it comes to swtor. Bioware has been known and reknown to be the company that stands out mostly because of their respect and feedback to their playerbase. That is not the case on this game. You seem to care about our opinions, but the truth is you dont... I now understand the retirement of the great great Doctors Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk after the "EA Bear HUG". Their hearts would break if they could see whats been going on around with this game.... Do what you think is fit with this post. I dont care anymore....
