  1. One thing I would point out for shadows and assassins is that for their melee damage/crit/bonus you get the same benefit from strength that you get from willpower. You just don't get any force bonus/healing/crit from strength... All told yeah, the willpower would be better, but the strength is almost as good. Does that excuse the oversight? No, not really. But it atleast gives you some options 'til they fix it.
  2. The posterior for Jedi Knight robes. Aric Jorgan's oversized head. Pretty minor things, all considered, but good god do they ever irk me. Can you please devote some time to getting the junk out of my knight's trunk? And to code in some helmets that fit on Aric's head? Thanks.
  3. I made a post very similar to this, involving both Bind to Account items via legacy and a legacy storage option. As such I am in favor of both of these things. Would also be nice if those "requires biochem" reusable stims and medpacks were in fact just bound to account. So that people didn't feel like all their characters needed biochem or cybertech for end game. Would also allow for a greater sense of accomplishment across all crafts if they had special bind to account schematics to provide bonuses for alts.
  4. There have been many threads about this... I'd kind of like a response on it. But they are also working on some big crew skill changes (pruportedly.) So hopefully we'll hear something soon.
  5. I made the mistake of ignoring pvp entirely as I was leveling my Sage to 50. I started pvping about a week ago, and while I really enjoy it, I really hate expertise. As a fairly soft character to begin with any one character with a dedicated pvp gear set has a tremendous advantage over me, and because I very obviously am not wearing pvp gear it doesn't take long for the opposing team to realize I am a big squishy target. I really enjoy pvp, and I realize that I'm going to have to wade through a lot of **** before I'll be on even ground... but sometimes it's frustrating when the same 3 imps in every warzone just know that they can kill me in seconds. I'm glad this thread was started by a hardcore pvper. Because I agree entirely... just make the tiers of pvp gear comparable statwise to the tiers of gear from ops and raids. That way there still is a slight gear advantage for people who took the time to grind one or the other, but it's not an insurmountable battle for those who don't have it.
  6. For the past month I have had alot of issues with my internet. They are in the progress of fixing it, but from about 4pm to 10pm my ocnnection is fairly stable... but every now and then I do get disconnected. When that happens and I happen to be in a warzone I get removed from the WZ and then I can't even requeue until the WZ I was in ends. I don't even want to join a different WZ I'd just like to be able to get back into the one I was in before. Perhaps once you join a WZ if you leave either from choice or from being disconnected you can only Requeue to enter that same WZ until it ends. Then people will be less inclined to leave and people like me might not lose 10 minutes of effort because of 30 seconds of poor connectivity.
  7. Theory craft and actual implementation can be very different. I have been using out of client tools to get a feeling for what I want to do. My biggest issue though is that pvp was completely off my radar until I was already 50. Now I have a huge uphill battle to even reach even ground in most Warzone matches. It's not about being a neurotic min/maxer it's about trying to find a good balance that will allow me to heal and not imploding when 2 imps look at me funny. I'll admit I'm not the best pvper right now, but with my 40 total expertise I can't really tell you if that is more an issue with my inexperience with pvp (which I am first to admit.) or the fact that in the majority of the warzones I partake in I am immediately taking 10-15% more damage from everyone and doing 10-15% less damage/healing myself. Any edge I can find will make things better. If BW doesn't want people respeccing, then they should take the mentor out entirely. I'd almost welcome releveling my character at this point because then I'd know to just pvp from 10 to 50.
  8. I had a similar idea about the force fields in huttball and voidstar. Instead of just opening and closing on a set time frame, it should be that upon death and reset you get a debuff that prevents you from crossing the door and when it wears off you can pass through.
  9. I have been playing around with spec talent trees, the problem is, after each time I reset the cost for the next reset goes up by like 3-4 times the previous cost. First time was free, then it jumped up to 1300 then to 8900 now its going to be 25515. I realize that I can wait a week and it will go back to being free, but is this really necessary? Why would you be so against people trying out new things to see if they can find something that works better for them? Why not instead just have it be a base cost based on character level? I wouldn't care if I just had to pay like 10k per reset at level 50, but if i keep trying new spec builds what next? 130k? 620k? What's the point of this? Let me play around with my build without the excessive penalty please.
  10. Totally this. Let's get some info on the crew skill changes already. I'm tired of my 400 artifice being completely useless.
  11. If they knew enough not to stand in a DoT spot and didn't decide to change targets at random I'd be happy. They don't need to be able to do anything complex... they just need to stop trying to solo elites when the rest of the group is killing standards. *Glares at Kira.*

I just made a thread about having crafted items bind to account instead of bind on Acquire: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=2985497#post2985497 And it gave me another legacy idea. Legacy storage. That would facilitate transfering/sharing items and materials over several characters. As well as simplifying my other idea of having crafted BoA items being bound to your legacy rather than just the character that makes it.
  13. Just a thought. But right now some of the best things cybertechs and Biochems can make are bind on acquire. Fine, I can understand that some things you just don't want traded... But atleast let us enjoy these things across all our alts. Hell, make it one of the legacy bonuses... just make it happen!

  15. So very agreed. Perhaps a series of expandable trees. So for a crew skill like synthweaver it starts with the base item, then when you start learning prototype variants you can expand/contract the prototype schematics linked to the premium variant. and then as you go further into the artifact grade it creates another tree based on each prototype variant. something that kinda looks like: [color="Lime"]Premium Item[/color] + [color="lime"]Premium Item[/color] - [color="RoyalBlue"]Prototype 'Overkill' Item[/color] + [color="RoyalBlue"]Prototype 'Critical' Item[/color] + [color="RoyalBlue"]Prototype 'Redoubt' Item[/color] - [color="Plum"]Artifact 'General' Item[/color] [color="Plum"]Artifact 'Veracity' Item[/color] As well as a collapsable tier system for every 5-10 levels or so. Also you could add better filter options "filter by stat" or something of that nature.
  16. Yeaaaaah I'm gonna say, from a consular/inquisitor perspective I'd much rather have the consular pvp gear. the hermetic tattered robes totally beat the Transformer/space Cow look.
  17. Yeah I'm kind of baffled that you can't invite to group from the guild list. And on the topic of inspecting from guild list, it'd be nice if we could do that from the chat log too.
  18. I really can't speak to your experience about trooper/smuggler over knight/consular without seeing which talent trees you've been investing in and without knowing what your crew skills are. Personally, my guardian and my girlfriend's sage have been able to take on everything we've tried. I agree about aric jorgun's head... so big compared to his helmets. Crafters CAN make headgear, they just don't learn it right away. (atleast synthweavers can make helmets... haven't gotten far enough on armormech to know.) As for the styles of headgear... Given what I've already seen, i'm a bit hesitant to ask for more... as is I just turn them off.
  19. I lost alot of interest in lotro when they made the story quests designed for groups soloable. As it is certain class/companion combinations can solo most heroics already. if anything, that should be less common, not more common.
  20. Or atleast let us drag companion abilities to our own quickslots OR move their abilitles around in their own quickslots as well as letting us select which 2 abilities are in their mini quickslots.

  22. Any particular reason I can't rejoin my current WZ if I get disconnected partway through? Is it too exploitable or something? I feel like such an *** every time I'm in a wz and i see that little red X bastard on my latency meter. I just let 7 other people down and I didn't even do anything. Let me rejoin my WZ, sort of like if you lose connection in a party you stay in the party? Otherwise I think I'm going to be limited to open world pvp...
  23. Frankly, I'd be happy if they fixed the horrible poofy butts on the heavy/medium armor robes.

  25. Given that Legacy names are bound to server and account it would be pretty easy for them to do something like this. I'd also like to see an option to bind friends lists to legacy name as well. If you have a friend who has alot of alts you can put his legacy name in your F-list and you'll see him on any of his alts. Also you wouldn't then need to add all of your friends and all their alts on all of your own alts too.
