My friend wants to get into the game but can't afford to subscribe right now. I suggested she use my referral link, but I wasn't sure if referrals get the 12x XP. My guess is that they do (since it's a 7 day subscription), but I wasn't certain, so I pose the question to the forums.

I know I'm 7 hours late (that's what sleep does), but that is it! And I'm thinking Theron will be cross-faction in the vain of "I'm working for you, not [insert faction here]". If he isn't, my Sorc will be pretty upset. He's been wanting to get his hands on Theron since FA. And I'm already trying to think up new outfits to put Theron and Lana in. Lana's lightsabers need to have the orange-red colour, not the much more marketable red. Theron will probably sport either the midgame Agent jackets or the midgame Smuggler jackets. I'll try to keep Lana in her green colour, but Theron could be something different. Maybe Black?

So I haven't posted in this thread before, but I have been eagerly watching it. Since comps will now (ideally) react to you romancing Lana/Theron, I'm pretty afraid Akaavi will try to rip my Slinger's throat out with her bare hands. I think of them like Archer and Lana (Kane) already, so that would complete the image even if I feel terrible about it. Anyway I thought I'd bring some positivity by posting screenshots of on-screen Theron kissing. I just call these Kissin da bae Round 1 & Round 2. Sadly I don't have a shot of Theron's great smile after Ziost (he looked legitimately happy!), but this'll do. I'm counting on Theron being a comp in KOTFE; I don't know if that shows that I'm in denial if he isn't, or if I just trust Bioware enough for him to for once be an actual comp.

I'm really hoping cheated companions will stay in the party, I'd hate to lose Akaavi. I think my Jugg is safe since he did pursue the Lana romance in FA and SOR, but broke it off at the end of Yavin. I didn't take any flirty options with Lana or Theron in Ziost, so at most he'll probably get a stern talking to by Vette. My Vanguard, Sniper, and Mercenary, on the other hand, are definitely safe since they're married to their work. Actually there is a fade to black at the end of SOR if you pursued a romance. So either it's off-screen kissing ala KOTOR or it was more along the lines of DA2. I'm leaning more towards DA2.

I tend to play most of my characters (of 11) on a fairly regular basis. But my mains will be (and are) my Sith Juggernaut and Gunslinger. I have the most fun playing as them and look forward to taking them through the expansion. Right behind them will be my Sith Sorcerer and Vanguard; and I haven't figured out the order of the rest yet.

Everything you wrote seems sound, but rotation is not the right word here. What you're thinking of is a revolution - the time a body takes to orbit another body (usually a star). A rotation is the time a body takes to complete one day. Earth's rotation is ~24 hours, while it's revolution is ~365 days.

Queue times as a tank are definitely shorter (haven't made a healer yet), but it depends on what you're queueing for. For 15-50 SM FPs I've generally had to wait 40-90 minutes. For the 50 and 55 HM FPs it's often about the same length since (at least on my server) not a lot of people queue for the 50 & 55 HMs. Sometimes you do get lucky and get an instant pop or a very short wait. 60 HMs are the 2nd quickest; I've usually had to wait 15-40 minutes for the queue to pop. Tacticals are the quickest since they don't require the holy trinity; usually 10-25 minutes. And the 15-50 SMs will be Tacticals come October so queue times for those will be shorter.

Directive 7 has a level 50 HM version, so that will undoubtedly be scaled up (meaning they likely left it off by accident). Colicoid War Games was also missing from the list, but since they mentioned Red Reaper finally getting a HM it's likely CWG will too (again they likely left it off by accident).

The level sync system reminds of one system in City of Heroes (I think it was called mentoring) where you grouped with a lower level player and were dropped down to their level. So this isn't something without precedent and I'm with it. I'm not a big fan of the class specific loot drops; as that means that if a SW piece drops without any SWs in group, no one can use it for themselves. Which is frankly a waste of gear. The way gear drops lead from Tactical/SM FPs to HM FPs to SM Ops is a bit schizophrenic so here's hoping we get some rational gear lead ins; ie HM FPs no longer drop 184s when SM Ops require 186. Red Reaper finally getting a hardmode is great to hear, I eagerly look forward to throwing myself at that first mob in sheer masochism. No sarcasm intended. I am genuinely happy we're getting a HM Red Reaper even as I hate doing that first pull. Here's hoping Colicoid War Games hasn't gone unnoticed and will get a HM too. The Esseless/Black Talon, Revan, and Ilum FPs getting a solo mode is great to hear since I won't have to skip them or let the Ilum quest chain go unfinished. The other leveling FPs getting a tactical mode is also good to hear since queue times will be much lower. Personally I feel like recycling content, while a cheap way to keep it relevant, works at keeping it relevant. I like the idea of running EV at 65 and getting decent gear drops in it. It keeps old content relevant and that's what they were aiming for. It is a shame to hear no new operations with the launch of KOTFE, though I can imagine them introducing new ones down the line. Since their reasoning is to fix the current end game content (50-60) before making new things, I'm interested to see how they fix it. Ideally by the time they finish fixing it, they'll be ready to work on new ops. I'm actually feeling optimistic to see what's coming next.

I always felt that Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Trooper, and Sith Warrior go best with HK-51.

Guss helps with survivability and has some fantastic banter, so bringing him often is great. Akaavi works great as a melee DPS. Risha is a good ranged DPS, but I don't use her that often since I want to keep enemies away from me. Corso and Bowdaar work well as melee tanks and do a good job of keeping enemies away from you.

This was something people also complained about in beta. Hence the General [name] title was removed and you the Master [name] title regardless of ending. Which is just so cheap. It isn't until the ending of SOR that the JK gets a universal title that is very appropriate for the class.

I used to try and match up mounts with class, but I've given up on that. My Gunslinger uses either the Czerka Enforcer (just for the pure irony) or the Onyx Orobird. For my Sorcerer I've got the Irakie Vulture. For my Jugg I swap between my Icetromper or Gurian Emerald.

I like to make mine different. It looks much more like they offset each other, rather than being a copy.

Sith Stalker has been reincarnated (preincarnated?) as Tulak Hord's armour, so that one's done. The rest would be nice to see. In particular I'd love to see the first Raxus Prime armour and the Jedi Adventure Robes.

People can argue about whether Valkorion and Vitiate are the same person and how long the time jump is (I highly doubt it's 19 years, it's more likely only 2 or 3), but I really doubt that Vitiate returns 3600+ years later to cause more shenanigans. And no, the Eternal Empire is not the true Sith described in KOTOR 2. It's clearly the Sith Empire of TOR. To quote Kreia, "You must go where Revan did, into the Unknown Regions [at that point Dromund Kaas was considered part of the UR], where the Sith, the true Sith, wait in the dark for the great war that comes [does the name Great Galactic War ring a bell?].
